Today we would like to introduce you to the chillers of two new series, EASY and COLDPACK, which have recently appeared in our product range and are new generation water-cooling machines that embody the most advanced developments of the RC GROUP and many years of experience in the production and operation of equipment for air conditioning systems. Chillers of the EASY series - monoblock chillers for outdoor installation with built-in condensers air cooling. The EASY chiller line includes 106 models with cooling capacities from 5 to 560 kW.
The working substance is freons R22, R407c. COLDPACK chillers are available in two versions - with remote air-cooled condensers (COLDPACK.A) and with built-in water-cooled condensers (COLDPACK.W). This line includes more than 60 models with cooling capacity from 30 to 380 kW, the working substance is R22, R407c freons. Chillers of the EASY and COLDPACK series (version A), at the request of the customer, can be equipped with a heat pump function, which makes it possible to obtain hot water by inverting the cycle of the water cooling machine. This function becomes especially important in the off-season, when the need for heating the building arises either before the start or immediately after the end of the heating season. All chillers equipped with a heat pump function are also equipped with an energy-saving IDEA defrost system, patented by RC GROUP. This system, with the help of additional controller software, allows you to detect the appearance of frost on the surface of the heat exchanger and promptly begin the defrost process, which is implemented by inverting the refrigeration machine cycle.
The IDEA system is a significant advantage of RC GROUP chillers, since it provides an energy-saving effect of about 20-30% depending on operating conditions and facilitates the operation of the machine. EASY and COLDPACK chillers can also be equipped with a heat recovery function, which makes it possible to supply the consumer with both hot and cold water. This option is implemented in the form of an additional heat exchanger installed in front of the main condenser. In this case, both partial and complete heat recovery are possible.
Chillers of the EASY series can be equipped with a compact hydraulic module, which includes all the necessary components (storage and expansion tanks, pump group, fittings, fluid flow relay). Chillers are available in both standard (STD) and low noise (ELN) versions. Reducing the noise level is achieved by increasing the sound insulation of the chiller housing, using additional noise-attenuating compressor casings, using rubber and spring anti-vibration mounts, as well as low-noise fans.
Water cooling machines of the EASY and COLDPACK series are equipped with a new generation microprocessor controller MP.COM, which, in combination with innovative software, implements the Logic Proactive Control control logic. Special control logic allows not only to monitor the processes occurring in the refrigeration circuit and record machine operating parameters, but also to control its operation, automatically selecting optimal modes and promptly responding to signals from the sensors of the protection system, which helps prevent the occurrence of emergency situations and ensures continuous operation of chillers even under critical conditions.
The control console (terminal) of the controller has a simple and convenient graphic display and keys for entering parameters located on the chiller control panel. One more important property MP.COM controller is the ability to remotely monitor operating parameters and control chillers with remote computer, via a local network, as well as the ability to integrate chillers into an existing building control system. Microprocessor-based MP.COM controllers are equipped with additional memory that stores an event log, which is retained even when the power supply is turned off.
Chillers of the EASY and COLDPACK series can have one or two refrigeration circuits and are equipped with highly efficient scroll compressors (SCROLL type), which, in turn, can be connected in parallel (up to three scroll compressors in one refrigeration circuit). This gives additional features for flexible control of chiller performance. Moreover, the maximum energy-saving effect is achieved when the chiller operates in part-load mode (it is in this mode that the chiller operates most of the time during the year). The EASY and COLDPACK chiller housings are quite compact, this is especially true for the COLDPACK model, which have a high specific cooling capacity per unit of occupied area.
This is definitely their important distinctive feature and advantage. The use of materials resistant to corrosion and temperature influences in the housings of our chillers makes it possible to use RC GROUP chillers in various climatic zones. This is confirmed by many years of experience in operating our equipment both in the Central Asian republics with their hot climate and in the Siberian climate, where the outside air temperature can reach -50 ° C. All chillers are supplied as complete products, completely ready for operation.
