When are Ryanair sales? Ryanair flights. Ryan Air flights to European cities:Ryan Air tickets to other countries:In addition, Ryanair flies within the UK and Ireland

Low-cost Ryanair is an iconic airline for everyone independent travelers in Europe. In any country and at any time, stable flight schedule and inexpensive Ryanair tickets- Here essential tools planning any euro trips.

In this post - detailed instructions How to buy tickets on the official website of RyanAir. The site is not supported in Russian, so I provide screenshots and a translation into Russian. Read carefully - there are pitfalls. Like any low-cost airline, Ryanair, luring us with low prices, skillfully disguises additional payments. Let's figure out how to remove all the unnecessary stuff and get a really inexpensive air ticket.

Before buying a ticket, we will have to register on the site. Otherwise, Ryanair tickets will not be sold – checked. However, this is short-lived and convenient - with subsequent purchases and check-ins for a flight, you will have to write less, and all information about your flights is stored in one place - in your personal account. So, click “Sign Up”

In the photo: the airline’s website does not support the Russian language

When registering, please provide a valid and accessible mailbox. This is important because all confirmations and air tickets will be sent there.

Click the “Sign Up” button. After that, check your mail. In the letter you receive from Ryanair, click on the link - and here you are again on the Ryanair website, but this time as a registered buyer.

Enter your first and last name. Click the yellow “Save and Continue” button

Search and purchase a Ryanair ticket

Let's start buying a ticket. For example, in March I wanted to relax on the island of Mallorca (Spain). I already have a ticket from Russia to Barcelona, which means that now I need to buy round-trip tickets for an air flight on the route Barcelona - Mallorca.

We select the parameters “from / to / dates / how many passengers” in the search form. Click the “Search” button (Let’s Go!)

In the photo: searching for flights from Barcelona to Mallorca on the Ryanair website

I choose dates from March 22 to 31. Let's look at what flights are available and at what prices.
Yep, there are three flights there and two back. First, we select a flight “there” at 8-00 in the morning. Click on the price 9.98.

In the photo: choosing the right flight to Mallorca

Three types of tariffs are available. We choose the cheapest – “Regular” for 9.98 euros.

In the photo: the cheapest fare usually does not include luggage

Please note that this fare only includes hand luggage. If you need to carry more luggage, don’t forget to buy one more luggage space in the next stages. Let's look further. The price in the top window has changed - it sometimes happens that the price fluctuates by 0.01 cents throughout the purchase process, don't be alarmed.

In the photo: choosing a return flight – Mallorca – Barcelona

Now select the return flight. By the way, pay attention to how convenient it is to compare prices for neighboring days. So, the flight at 6-30 in the morning suits us - we click on the price of 9.98.

In the photo: choosing a return ticket fare. Again only with hand luggage.

We check what we have chosen - again, is it in the right direction (in in this case Mallorca), dates, departure and arrival times, total amount.

As a result, the total amount is 19.97 euros. Click the yellow “Continue” button.

Ryanair baggage rules

Think again about what luggage you will travel with: size, weight, what you will take. At this stage you can buy more baggage allowance, – it will be cheaper to do it here than at check-in, and at the airport it will be even more expensive. To avoid paying baggage fees at all, take only hand luggage with you.

Hand luggage– the luggage that you can take with you on the plane is ONE bag or suitcase measuring no more than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, weighing no more than 10kg and an additional “handbag” measuring no more than 35cm x 20cm x 20cm (this can be a camera) – You should not have ANYTHING else in your hands!

If your luggage exceeds the norm, then buy more immediately. Read more about baggage transportation on the airline's official website.

Now you can only take a 40x20x25 bag on the plane for free. If your bag is larger or you take another suitcase with you, you will be required to pay an additional 25 euros upon boarding! Therefore, it is better to pay for your luggage right away: if you want to take another suitcase with you, then 6 euros. If you check your suitcase as luggage, then 8 euros. The suitcase should not exceed 55x40x20 and no more than 10 kg.

In addition to checking the size of your carry-on luggage, check what is possible.

In the photo: refusing a certain seat on the plane

Again they ask to buy a seat in the cabin. We don’t give in - click the “Ok, thanks” button

Let's move on to paying for the air ticket. Ryanair accepts PayPal and credit cards. For payment by credit card, a small commission is added - this is the norm for all low-cost airlines, it is impossible to refuse it, so we do not pay attention. But then there is one additional commission that Ryanair cleverly slips into our hands when paying by card.

First, fill out your first name, last name, phone number, and specify the email to which tickets will be sent. Fill in Billing address – your address.
Then we remember the final price - 20.38 euros. Now I select MasterCard and fill in the card number. And here – watch your hands – after entering the number, the total amount on the right changes to...

In the photo: see if the final price changes

... to the number 23.10 and converts into dollars! The fact is that Ryanair includes conversion at this point at its unfavorable rate. As a result, if our card is in rubles, hryvnias or other currencies other than dollars, then we will have to pay a double commission: 1. Euro to Dollar. 2. Dollars in Rub. We don't need this! Let it be better once: Rub. straight to Euro. How to avoid double conversion?

In the photo: we don't need the Ryanair exchange rate here!

Click on the words “Click here for more information” and uncheck the bottom checkbox there.

In the photo: removing double conversion when paying for a Ryanair ticket

The price is again in euros. We are paying for our air ticket. All! Confirmation of purchase and receipt will be sent to you by email.

How to check in for a Ryanair flight without paying extra fees

Buying Ryanair tickets is only half the battle. The main thing is to fly on this flight WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS. If you forget something, the fine may exceed the cost of the ticket itself. So what should you do?

No earlier than 4 days and no later than 2 hours before departure, we check in for the flight on the Ryanair website.

In the photo: from your personal account

In your personal account you can clarify information about your trip. Go to “My Bookings”. There will be a prompt about starting online registration.

In addition, you can register on the site without logging into your account. To do this, you need to find the six-digit code in the letter from Ryanair. Go to the website in the “Check In” section. In the window that appears, enter the reservation code and your email.

In the photo: enter the code and your email

In the window that appears, select the names of passengers, then select seats (this is paid, you can skip it) and go through registration. At the end of registration, the Boarding Pass and the “download” and “print” buttons will be displayed. Print it out or, if you don’t have a printer at hand, download the boarding pass to your smartphone.

Is it necessary to print out your RyanAir boarding pass?

When registering on the website, the boarding pass can be downloaded to your smartphone in PDF form - I’ve used it many times, no problems. The main thing is that there is a QR code that will be read upon boarding.

Now there are more modern way: Install the RyanAir app on your smartphone, check in for your flight and open your electronic boarding pass in the app. In this case your your boarding pass will remain on your smartphone, and regardless of whether you have access to the Internet or not.

If you suddenly lose a printout, smartphone, or take unplanned luggage with you, you will have to pay for everything at the airport. Forgot to register - 55 euros, forgot to print or download to your smartphone - 20 euros. See all rates.

However, it is not difficult to do everything correctly, and then you will not have to pay anything beyond what you have already paid. You just need to carefully read all the rules of Ryanair, prepare and fly safely at ridiculous prices throughout Europe!

Life hack: how to search for the cheapest Ryanair fares

This is not some kind of sale, Ryanair always has low prices on certain destinations - you just need to know these destinations. I tell you how to find the cheapest destinations.

Select a list of departure airports on the first page of the site.

In the photo: in the center there is a list of departure airports

In my case I chose Barcelona. Then select the direction “Where”.

In the photo: click “Where” we are going

In my example I chose Mallorca. By the way, already at this stage they will show you what minimum prices to the chosen direction. Further.

In the photo: the price calendar on the Ryanair website is surprisingly convenient.

In the table that opens, we study which days there are the cheapest flights.

If you see a different interface, click here - it will open map low prices . And then, at the top left, indicate where you want to fly from.

Once you have chosen the lowest round trip fares, click the yellow button at the top and buy those tickets. The price calendar is the most convenient thing on the RyanAir website. For some reason, on the websites of other low-cost airlines, they have moved away from such tables.

Ryanair also has sales - prices for flights can even start from 0 euros!

Please note that upon arrival at the airport, non-EU citizens must go through the “Visa check” procedure at the RyanAir check-in counter, otherwise they may not be allowed to board the flight. The only exception is air travel within one country.

Have you already flown with Ryanair? Write how it was in the comments.

AND deals with forecasting changes in air ticket prices in order to suggest whether it is worth buying tickets now or is it better to wait.

If anyone has forgotten what it is low cost airline(they are also budget airlines), then contact us. I wrote about the procedure for purchasing air tickets on the Ryanair website. And be sure to remember about the excellent aggregator azair.eu, which specializes in low-cost airlines and knows how to select tickets “there, I don’t know where” and “then, I don’t know when.” Today's airhint.com service will be a great addition to it.

Pricing at low-cost airlines

The problem is that the pricing laws of low-cost airlines defy logic. The same Ryanair for neighboring dates may have tickets that differ significantly in price, up to a difference of 20 euros and 200.

Pricing depends on many factors, from the time before departure (but not necessarily the closer to departure, the more expensive), on current demand, day of the week, etc. However, low-cost airlines' pricing is much more complex than that of conventional airlines and is difficult to predict without the use of special means, while prices can either rise or fall.

The service airhint.com is engaged in forecasting. Its creators claim to have achieved 82% accuracy in forecasts for Ryanair, whatever that means :) Besides Ryanair the service analyzes prices for three more low-cost airlines - this EasyJet, Vueling and the world's largest low-cost airline, American Southwest. I hope that over time the number of airlines will increase.

For the calculation, identified trends and data from past years in specific areas are used. I think that the service can be completely trusted; in any case, the probability of its error will be lower than our own when making independent predictions.

Forecasts from airhint.com

The service itself is extremely simple and intuitive, although English language. We enter the starting and ending points, the date and carry out the search.

In the screenshot above, on the route Tallinn - Milan Bergamo for the specified date, we are shown a price of 40.79 euros, and are offered to buy at this price. Why buy? At the bottom of the picture, two diagrams show that the probability of a price decrease for this date is 5%, and the price level for the current month is from 30 to 253 euros, that is, 40.79 looks quite good.

The opposite situation is also possible, when the price at the moment does not seem very profitable and it is possible that it will decrease in the future.

In the picture above, the service assumes a price reduction for this route with a 70% probability and recommends waiting before purchasing. Should you listen to such advice? Everyone decides for themselves. If you decide to wait, you will need to check ticket prices daily so as not to miss the desired reduction.

By the way, if the price is high in relation to the monthly average, this does not mean at all that it has the potential to decrease. For example, here:

It seems like the price is close to the maximum values for this month. At the same time, the service estimates the probability that it will decrease at only 36%. Therefore, it is argued that although the price is not optimal, it is better to buy now. That is, it probably won’t get any better. Well, or you can look for other options that are more profitable.

That's all, simple, clear and visual. As far as I saw, the prices of the service correspond to the actual prices of the airlines, there were no errors. Personally, I liked the resource, and now I will use it when planning.
