Magical finger gestures and their meaning. Mudras - fingering (Ninja Magic). Linked little fingers - to the money

How can you do all these wonderful things? In order to fulfill them, there are so-called runic practices. Runic practice is when we take a letter of the ancient alphabet (rune), read in a book the meaning of the rune (the effect of its influence) and how to incorporate it into this effect. That is, each letter is a label for a specific command of the universe. And in order to enable this command, there are numerous settings in the form of symbols, postures, gestures, sounds and images for meditation. As soon as you learn to turn on these commands, they will work for you, making an active impact on the world around you. The peculiarity of runic magic is that you do not have to believe in it. It is enough to have a reliable connection with some powerful force that will believe in the runes for you. For example, with some Scandinavian or Slavic god, or with the spirits of your ancestors who owned the magic of runes. And runic magic works due to the fact that runes, and the commands derived from them, are casts from the great consciousness that fills the vast cosmos. And when you do something runic, you attract the attention of the cosmos here, and invite him to play here according to the rules familiar to him. Space is big and loves to play by its own rules, so it will almost never refuse you.

So, you have decided to become a runic magician. Have you learned the names of the runes, made or bought a rune set, and are wondering, what’s next? What awaits you along this path? Is daily training in the spirit of yoga or qigong, long hours of meditation, avoidance of meat, alcohol, women and cartoons necessary? What are the prospects for achieving a significant level in a short time? Will you be able to demonstrate miracles for the amusement of the public, will you be able to cast magic for food? Let's try to understand these difficult issues. Actually, runic magic does not require special austerities and restrictions from a person. This is work with the attention of the cosmos, and the cosmos, most likely, does not care how many women you have, whether you braid your beard and whether you keep a set of inserts for imported chewing gum, exchanged in second class, under your pillow. Space is so liberal and tolerant that no moss-covered listener of the radio station “Echo of Moscow” could ever dream of it. However, there is another circumstance. It lies in the fact that, being a runic magician, you still continue to inhabit the human body and move in human society. And this, in turn, gives rise to the need for various ascetics, for example, limiting the consumption of alcohol to at least one canister per day, the need to be of sound mind and good memory when communicating with neighbors and the police, and many other interesting things, the name of which is human life. In addition, the human body and consciousness are able to interact with the attention of the cosmos not in all positions, but only in some. To maintain these provisions, you will most likely need:

The use of gestures in magic is as ancient as magic itself. In fact, they performed a dual role. With the help of gestures, magical movements, and dance, the magician brought himself to a state of ecstasy, helped his consciousness to enter into communication with the Highest, as well as one or another of his hypostases. Sometimes gestures and signs serve as a means of identification for magicians, with the help of which they can verify that someone belongs to the Great Brotherhood of Initiates.

Signs of degrees also exist in the Thelemic orders: the Order of the Eastern Templars (O.T.O.) and the Order of A.".A."... At the same time, in the O.T.O. they are kept secret, and if they must be performed in the presence of strangers during magical work (as, in particular, during the Gnostic Mass), then deliberate distortions are introduced into them.

Signs A.".A.". are not used for identification, but only for magical work. And there is no need to keep them secret. Moreover, up to the degree of Junior Adept (5° = 6°), they are identical to the signs that existed in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. For the Adeptus Minor degree Crowley had already made some changes. Signs of higher degrees were developed by Crowley completely independently, based on iconographic images accepted in the Western magical tradition.

These signs are used primarily as magical "forms" that denote the connection between the consciousness of the magician and the various Kabbalistic Sephiroth of the Tree of Life. In this sense, they can be used in a wide variety of rituals, by adepts of any degree.

Degree signs A.".A.". are divided into three categories: first come Signs of the four magical elements, then - four Signs L.V.X.(from the Latin word lux meaning "light") for the degree of Adeptus Minor, and five signs of N.O.X.(from the Latin word nox, meaning "night"). As you know, A.".A.". is divided into three internal orders (Golden Dawn, Order of the Rose and Cross and, in fact, A. ".A."). Each of these orders is preceded by an additional degree (Novice, Lord of the Reach and Child of the Abyss), and they, in turn, correspond to two mutually balancing Signs.

The existence of slightly different versions of these Signs can be explained by the different contexts of their use. Many of them were used in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, as well as in other initiatory orders. Since all the signs refer to classical images of Egyptian gods, they can be subject to some individual interpretation.

Signs of degrees in the Order A. ".A." began with the degree Novitiate.

Signs of the Elements

Novice(0°=0°) – Consists of Signs of Horus And Harpocrates.
Sign of Horus– this is the sign of the Enterer (the sign of Speech, utterance): take a wide step forward with the left foot, arms are thrown forward (arms should be parallel to the ground), the body bends forward as much as possible.

Always following him sign of Harpocrates– sign of Silence: for this, after the sign of the Enterer, you need to return your left leg half a step back behind your right, bring your right index finger to your upper lip. Some people use the thumb of the right hand (the hand is clenched into a fist), bringing it up and inserting it between the lips.

In the Thelemic tradition, Horus is the Deity of the new Aeon, a symbol of solar magical energy. Committing sign of Horus(Entering), you are entering the world of magic. Harpocrates (in ancient Egyptian this word sounded like Gore-Pa-Herd- “Horus the Child”) in Ancient Egypt was depicted as a boy holding a finger to his mouth. The ancient Greeks interpreted this as a sign of silence. According to Crowley, a finger to the mouth is not only a sign of silence, but also a sign of surprise. A person takes a step into the magical world, he is amazed by what he sees, but undertakes to keep the secret. In addition, the first sign charges the magical image, and the second one prevents this energy from returning back to the operator.

As has already been said, each person working with these signs can make some changes to them, “adjusting them to suit themselves.” In fact, which foot, for example, is better to take a step in the Sign of the Entering One - right or left. Where is it better to throw your hands away: from the ears, from the eyes or from the mouth? Essentially an established rule. However, it should be remembered that each change carries a certain symbolic meaning and can either help to successfully complete the ritual, or, conversely, become an obstacle to magical work.

For example, in ancient Egypt the left side was associated with Isis and the beginning of any work. The right side corresponded to the goddess Nephthys and the completion of work. Therefore, in most cases it is logical to take the Entering step with the left foot, but you can arrange the work in such a way that it will correspond to the step with the right foot.

Speaking about the movement of the hands, it should be remembered that different parts of the head are associated with different Gods and powers. In the second book of Occult Philosophy, Cornelius Agrippa gives the following correspondence: eyes - Sun and Moon, ears - Jupiter and Saturn, nostrils - Mars and Venus, mouth - Mercury. As a rule, the arms are thrown forward either from the eyes or from the ears.

The following four signs correspond to the four magical elements of which, according to the ancients, our world and man himself consist. They also correspond to the lower four Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.

Neophyte(1°=10°). Earth. Sephira Malkuth. Sign of Set the Fighter. The right foot stands on its toes, the toe points forward and slightly to the right. The heel of the left foot touches the right, the toe points to the left. The arms are extended, forming a diagonal: the right one is raised forward and up above the head, the left one is back and down, palms forward, fingers pressed together and extended. The head is held straight.

Set - God of the desert in ancient Egypt.

Zealot(2°=9°) Air. Sephira Yesod. Sign of Shu, Supporting the Sky. Heels together, toes slightly apart, head tilted forward. The arms bent at the elbows are raised up and to the sides, the fingers are pressed against each other, the hands are bent back, as if supporting the arch.

Shu - God of wind and air in ancient Egypt.

Practitioner(3°=8°) Water. Sephira Hod. Sign of Auramoth. The body and legs are in the Shu Sign position, but the head is kept straight. The palms are placed on the chest as follows: the thumbs are connected at the level of the heart, the rest below, forming a water triangle pointing down. (Note: some people put their fingers together on their stomach).

Auramoth (more precisely, Auramo-from) – Divine name from the language of the ancient Copts. Its translation means "Light shining through the waters of the earth." Auramoth performs Purification with water. She is usually depicted in blue-orange vestments (blue is the color of the Water element). On her head the Goddess wears a blue Lower Egyptian crown. In her hands she carries a blue Ankh sign and a lotus staff (an orange lotus on a green stem). In the Sign of the Degree, the cup of water is replaced by the sign of water, which is formed by the hands.

Philosopher(4°=7°) Fire. Sephira Netzach. Sign Tum-ash-neith . Head and body as in the Sign of Auramoth. Hands are joined, palms facing forward: thumbs on the eyebrow line, the rest above, forming a triangle of fire pointing upward.
Tum al-Neit– Divine name from the language of the ancient Copts. Its translation means “Perfection, passing through Fire, manifests itself on Earth.” Tum al-Neit makes Initiation by Fire. She is usually depicted in a red robe (red is the color of the Fire element). On the Goddess's head is the crown of Upper Egypt, red in color. In her hands she carries a green Ankh sign and a lotus staff (red lotus on a green background).

Unlike Set and Shu, Auramoth and Tum al-Neit have no clear historical analogies in the mythology of ancient Egypt. (Although sometimes Auramoth is related to the “Great Mother of all Gods” Mut, and Tum al-Neit- with the Goddess of hunting and war Neit, who gave birth to Ikhet, who gave birth to the Sun). Therefore, their signs correspond not to ancient Egyptian images, but to the alchemical symbols of Water and Fire.

Lord of the Reach(has no correspondence on the Tree of Life). Spirit. Intermediate Degree. Signs of Disclosure And Closing the Veil.

Sign of the Revealing of the Veil . Head straight. The initial position of the legs is the same as in the Sign of Set the Fighter, the feet change places and are completely on the floor. The hands are extended straight forward, palms facing outward, and moved apart.

Sign of the Closing Veil. Head straight. The initial position of the legs is the same as in the Sign of Set the Fighter, the feet are as in the Sign of Set the Fighter and are completely on the floor. The hands move together from the final position of the Sign of the Opening of the Veil, at the same time the hands turn with the palms inward. The palms are connected, then the arms are freely lowered down.

The symbolism of these Signs is quite obvious. First, a person passes through the Veil that separates the Outer Order from the Inner Order. However, there is a deeper meaning.

L.V.X signs

Junior Adept(5°=6°) Sephira Tiphareth. L.V.X signs

+ Osiris the Slain - Cross. Body and legs as in the Sign of Shu. The head is tilted forward. The arms are spread apart, the hands are turned palms forward, the fingers are together, the thumbs are pressed against the rest. Outwardly, it resembles a Tau-shaped mantle.

L Isis the Sorrowful - Swastika. The body is turned halfway. The left foot is on the floor, supporting the weight, the toe is turned slightly to the right. The right leg is placed back on the toe, the toe pointing slightly to the left. The right arm bends at the elbow, points up and moves back, the left arm bends down at the elbow and moves forward. The head is slightly tilted towards the left shoulder and looks at the left hand. Fingers together.

V Typhon- Trident. Stand up straight, rise on tiptoes, without your heels touching the floor. The head leans back, the arms rise up, forming the letter “V” with the body. The hands are turned palms forward, the fingers are clenched together, continuing the line of the arms.

X Osiris Risen - Pentagram. The body and legs are like the Sign of Osiris the Slain, the head is straight. Arms are crossed on the chest, the right hand is on top of the left, palms are placed on the shoulders, fingers together.

The degree of Junior Adept, to which these signs correspond, contains initiation into the mystery of the Dying and Resurrection God ( Osiris-Christ).

+ signdenotes the death of the candidate.

L sign– Isis’s grief over the dead candidate. The Swastika contains the Rose Cross as an outward symbol that the Great Work is completed. Swastika is also a lightning bolt that twists in a spiral. It shows the Initiation of a whirlwind of forces.

Sign V- These are Apophis and Typhon. These are also the arms raised by a drowning man, and the horns of the medieval Devil. Crowley associates the symbolism of this sign with the 12th Arcana ("The Hanged Man"), which represents the highest formula of adeptship in the Aeon of Osiris. “All this is connected with the formula of the Rose and Cross, the destruction of the “I” in the Beloved as a condition for moving forward. In the lower darkness of death, the serpent of new life begins to stir,” he writes. The sign shows the obligatory and obvious death of power, without which it is impossible to achieve any perfection.

X sign- resurrection. The combination of all forces in man in the symbol of the Pentagram. It shows the Triumph of Light. It is this sign that the Priest of the Gnostic Mass makes when he proclaims: “There is not a single part of me where God is not.” This is the final ascent into perfect balance of power.

Collectively these four signs are known as L.V.X signs The sign of Osiris the Slain, represented in the form of a Cross, belongs to the category of the other three, since each of these letters (L, V and X) can be derived from the Cross. And the last three signs of this degree represent (respectively and externally) specific letters - L (Isis), V (Apophis), and X (Osiris the Risen). They reflect the full daily path of the Sun, starting from sunset: + – sunset, L – midnight, V – noon, X – dawn.

Since these are solar signs, they can be correlated with the equinoxes and solstices: “Isis in Mourning” (swastika) - the summer solstice, “Typhon” - the dark lord of the winter solstice, “Osiris the Slain” - refers to the autumn and spring equinoxes, while in In the sign of “Osiris the Risen”, the cross divides the days of the year, uniting all energies together.

The meaning of L.V.X.

L.V.X signs present an analysis of the keyword INRI (Formula of the Old Aeon) and give an interpretation in terms of the Gnostic word of power IAO. L.V.X. symbolizes the first stage of initiation - Interview with your Holy Guardian Angel and knowledge of your True Will.

L.V.X. is also the Brotherhood of Light, which, if we use magical symbols, is led by the Light of the World. At the same time, this sign shows the imperfection of Light until it descended into Hell. Hands are spread out to the sides, and then folded again - struggle and peace. As Aleister Crowley writes, “It is absolutely necessary for the student to go around these circles of symbolism again and again until the figures merge into one another until they are completely indistinguishable in an intoxicating dance of ecstasy; only then can he consider himself to have achieved the ability to participate in this Sacrament and perform it for himself - and for all people! “The Great Work.”

N.O.X signs (Night of Pan)

Senior Adept(6°=5°). Sephira Geburah. Boy Sign (Pu'er)(Puer – Latin boy) Legs together, head straight. The right hand is to the side, bent upward at a right angle, the fingers of the palm are straightened and directed upward, the thumb is set back at a right angle. The left hand points between the legs, the palm is clenched into a fist, the thumb is pointed forward. (Pose of the gods Mentu, Hema, etc.)

Free Adept(7°=4°). Sefira Chesed. Sign of a Man (Vir)(Vir – lat. man). Feet together, palms clenched into fists and placed at the temples so that the thumbs point forward; the head is tilted and pushed forward, as if symbolizing a butting beast. (Pose of Pan, Bacchus, etc.)

Child of the Abyss. False Sephira Daat. Located at the intersection 3rd paths (Gimel - High Priestess - Isis) and 4th paths (Daleth - Empress - Venus). Therefore it consists of two Signs:

Sign of the Girl (Puella) (Puella – Latin girl). Feet together, head tilted forward, left hand covering Muladhara chakra, and the right one covers the chest (Venus Medica Pose).

Sign of the Woman (Mulier) (Mulier - Latin woman) Legs are spread wide apart, arms are outstretched to the sides, forming a crescent. The head is thrown back. (Pose of Baphomet, Isis the Salutator, Microcosm of Vitruvius - see Book 4, Part II.)

Temple Master(8°=3°) Sephira Bina. Sign of the Triumphant Mother(aka sign of Isis the Rejoicing, Set Triumphant). Feet together; the left arm is bent as if supporting a child; The thumb and index finger of the right hand squeeze the nipple of the right breast, as if offering it to the child.

Having reached the degree of Adept, the student finds himself on the edge of the Abyss (Nothingness). Therefore, he must overcome it; if he refuses and turns back, then he faces the fate of the “Black Brother.” Here it is worth remembering the interesting opinion of Jack Parsons, according to which Jesus is the Light of the World, the Savior of the World. However, he limited himself to only the role of the Redeemer. The gap was not bridged and the initiation was rejected. Therefore, Christians became “black brothers.”

In many traditions, there is a term that means overcoming the Abyss that separates man from God and dissolution in God. In the Zen tradition, the term satori (“awakening”) is the central and highest goal of religious practice. Since all people inherently possess “Buddha nature,” the task of the adept is to realize it. After this, the innermost meaning of existence is revealed to him in its fundamental “non-duality”, when subject and object, “I” and the external world represent an indivisible unity.

This is how the 12th century Zen author Daie describes satori: “It (satori) is like a sea of fire: if you get close to it, you will certainly burn your face. It can be compared to a sword: if it is drawn, then somebody risks losing his life. But if you do not throw down the scabbard and approach the fire, you will be no different from a piece of stone or wood. To follow this path, a person must be determined and courageous. There is nothing like sober reasoning or calm metaphysical or epistemological analysis here. This kind of despair must jump over an insurmountable barrier. This is the will set in motion some kind irrational unconscious inner force. Therefore, the product of this will also denies the mental and speculative.”.

The meaning of N.O.X.

The holy word “which is the key to the Abyss” is N.O.X. In ancient Greek mythology, this was the name of the goddess of the night, the daughter of Chaos. If L.V.X. – this is Light, then N.O.X. – this is Darkness. Crowley writes about this in the Seventh Ethyr, Visions and Voices. When the Adept feels empowered, he should take the Oath of the Abyss. Crossing the Chasm, the Adept survives the battle with Choronzon. And then he comes to Sephira Binah, the City of the Pyramids, ruled by our Lady Babalon (Nuit). In her hands is a Chalice filled with the blood of the Saints, and it is there that the Adept must pour out his own blood. Die and be born again as a Child of the Abyss.

It is impossible to use the method of intellectual analysis here, and therefore Aleister Crowley describes the crossing of the Chasm in the language of symbols. LIBER CHETH says:

"1. This is the secret of the Holy Grail. This is the sacred vessel of our Lady of the Scarlet Woman, Babalon, Mother of Abominations, bride of Chaos, who saddles our Lord, the Beast.

2. You must pour out your blood, which is your life, into the golden cup of her fornication.

3. You must mix your life with the life of the universe, without holding back a single drop.

4. And then your mind will become numb, your heart will stop beating, and life will leave you; and they will carry you down to rot, and the birds of the air will feast on your flesh, and your bones will turn white in the sun.

5. Then the winds will gather and sweep you like a heap of dust into a scarf with four corners and hand you over to the guards of the Abyss.

6. And since there will be no life in this dust, the guards of the Abyss will allow the angels of the winds to pass. And the angels will lay your ashes in the City of the Pyramids, and there will be no more name left.”

Crowley's formula is N.O.X. usually identified with the awakening of primal energy, with fear of death or injury, with sexual arousal, etc. He expands the practice using N.O.X. to awaken any fear-filled thoughts, and his poetry and ritual is filled with terrible vows and terrible fantasies so that they help awaken the necessary energies.

The original sexual symbolism of the N.O.X signs. quite obvious:

Puer (N)– phallus
Vir (O)– penetration
Puella- girl
Mulier (X)- woman
Mother Triumphant(Seth the Triumphant or Isis the Rejoicing) – release of semen

The absence of the last of the N.O.X. in some magical rituals, it can help to correctly understand the meaning of the entire composition.

In addition, the key to the secret meaning of the entire cipher may be the double names of the last two characters, Mulier And Mother Triumphant. On the surface, in addition to the above, there are symbols of fertilization (acceptance of the seed), birth and feeding. However, inside is a secret of secrets. In the Book of Thoth, Crowley writes: “In one of its manifestations, the Symbol of the Fool is not One, but Two; He is One only because he is zero. He exists: Eheje, his divine name, meaning “I am” or “I will be,” is just another way of saying that he is that which Is Not, because One leads to nowhere from whence he came. And so – the only manifestation is in Two, and this manifestation must be in silence, since three, the number of Bin (Understanding) has not yet been formed.”

Let's consider the first “double sign” - Mulier. In Liber V, Crowley clearly states that this sign is related to Baphomet. At the same time, it identifies Mulier with Babalon, and further, closing the circle, in the Book of Thoth, Babalon with Baphomet. We read: "There is no doubt that the mysterious figure of Baphomet is a magical image of the same idea." Let us draw another obvious parallel for ourselves - Mulier and the zero arcana of Crowley's Tarot, the Fool. This correspondence is striking at the first glance at this Trump. Crowley lists several more related symbols - Zeus Arrhenotelus, Green Man, Parzival.

According to some researchers, the problem remains that this sign corresponds to the degree of the Child of the Abyss. Indeed, in one of the texts Crowley attributed it to the sign Puella, which, by the way, was correlated with Baphomet. But then what to do with Mulier? In our opinion, the answer is that the degree of Child of the Abyss corresponds to all N.O.X signs. – c o v o c u p n o.

Next, let's try to understand why Sign of Set Triumphant also named Sign of the Triumphant Mother or Isis Rejoicing. To answer this question, let us first consider it from the point of view of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. As is known, Set or Saturn (Satan) corresponds to the Sephira of Binah. This Sephira has a dual role. On the one hand, she is the creator of forms, the Great Mother, i.e., Isis. But she is also Chronos with the death scythe, who destroys these forms of physical life, in other words, Seth. “I am life and the one who gives life, therefore the knowledge of me is the knowledge of death,” says the sixth verse of chapter II of the Book of the Law. Hence: In this sign there is Isis, and Seth, and “life”, and “knowledge of death”. Hint: Sephira Binah is known to be above the Chasm, and crossing the Chasm destroys duality.

Let's see how this idea can be developed in the aspect of Egyptian divine history. It is not for nothing that this sign is also called the Sign of Isis Rejoicing (or, as Crowley sometimes called it, Isis and Horus). In his commentary to Liber V vel Reguli, Aleister Crowley makes it clear that, in fact, the father of Horus was not Osiris, but Set. In Egyptian myths there are also some hints at the possibility of such an interpretation. They can also be seen in Plutarch’s treatise “On Osiris and Isis.” Here, the killer of Osiris, along with Seth, is called a certain “Queen Aso,” in whom Isis can be identified.

The first prerequisite for such an interpretation is that in the Egyptian pantheon there are as many as four deities who are brothers and sisters of each other: Isis, Nephthys, Set and Osiris. And in the sign we are considering, an androgynous image appears Set-Isis, if we take into account the version when the father of Horus is called Set, this is a sign “ Father-Mother" Recall that in traditional Egyptian myth, Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris, and therefore the patrilineal heir to the throne of Osiris; and it was here that his patriarchal succession was challenged by Seth, who, as brother not only of his father but also of his mother, represented the matriarchal succession. The victory of Horus over Set thus symbolized the transition from matriarchy to patriarchal heredity.

So, following the commentary on Liber 5, we imagine Horus as the child of the incestuous relationship of Set and Isis. And this is an illustration of the mother Isis breastfeeding the child of Horus, which it is quite reasonable to describe and how Set Triumphant And How Mother Triumphant. Or - as the Formula for the Birth and Feeding of a magical child - Androgyne Horus - a child born in the Abyss, but destined by fate to overcome it and rise above it.

So, in fact, the signs of N.O.X. - these are not just signs of crossing the Abyss - although what does it mean to “simply” overcome the Abyss! - these are symbols of transformation, werewolf, transubstantiation or, if you like, hatching - the Nemo butterfly, a symbol of non-dual Being - from a numb chrysalis that has approached the entrance to Daat. In them, these signs, this entire arduous process is captured, which is in many ways identical to the birth and death of a person. A process that ends at the Threshold of the City of the Pyramids.

In order to perform, you need to know certain magical gestures. We have developed these physical gestures to accompany four verbal affirmations based on the four previously described laws of magic:

law of willpower- affirmation: I wish (correlates with Fire);

law of correspondence- affirmation: I knock out (correlates with Water);

law of astral light- affirmation: I create (correlates with Air);

law of mental image- affirmation: I see (corresponds to the Earth).

These affirmations accompany four gestures.

Gesture of will . Touch the center of your forehead with the index and middle fingers of your right hand. This symbolizes your mental intention as a powerful force.

Select gesture . Extend your right arm straight out in front of you, with your index finger facing forward. This is a symbol of your choice of powers and attributions for magical action.

Gesture of creation . Place both hands in front of you at chest level, with your right about 6 inches above your left, as if you were holding a ball.
Gesture of vision . Place your hands in a triangle with the top point up on your forehead (above the “third eye”), palms facing forward. Then spread your arms out to the sides and up, palms down, fingers extended, as if you are projecting a mental image into the Universe.

Affirmation is an affirmative (positive) statement that a person repeats out loud or to himself. The point of affirmations is to surround yourself with positive thoughts that promote positive results.

Acquiring Magical Skills

Card selection

Map 1, significator. This card represents the person acting as the subject of the ritual. Most often, this is the practicing magician himself or the person for whom the talisman is intended. In the Golden Dawn system, court cards are most often used as significators, so you can choose one of them to identify yourself based on your gender, age, personality characteristics, zodiac sign, etc. Some Major Arcana can also be your significators , if you feel a natural kinship with the figure depicted on the card. In our first example we will choose the King of Pentacles, which will represent the ritual magician as a mature person born under one of the Earth signs.

Map 2, initial action. To become a magician, you must open your psyche to the highest divine power and listen to the divine teacher within you. The Hierophant card will symbolize the attention of the mind to the divine teacher and the perception of divine influence from above.

Map 3, continuation. Here we will select the Hermit. This card is associated with the sign of Virgo, whose ruler is Mercury. Virgos are prone to pedantry and scrupulousness. In this case, one should appeal to the regenerative power of the Virgin to add the power of continuation and renewal to the ritual.

Map 4, mascot card. This card is the purpose of the ritual, which is to acquire magical skills, and the main focus of the entire ceremony. Mage is chosen as this card. However, in the visualization that leads to the desired result, all selected cards appear. Please also note that the last three cards, the Hierophant, the Hermit and the Magician, are known in the Tarot as the three wise men - the three great magicians.

Mudra (magical gestures) is a special position of the fingers in accordance with certain rules.

Knowledge about mudras comes from time immemorial and has always been used in magical and spiritual practices as an accessible way to heal the body, achieve a special state of consciousness to solve problems of a psychological and emotional nature.

What the wise can do

1 mudra helps to gain inner strength and peace of mind

5 mudra promotes peace of mind
6 mudra relieves and cures many diseases
7 mudra has a beneficial effect on the entire human body.

Where to study?
It is better to find a secluded place for studying, but this is not a prerequisite.
Mudras are gestures, so they can be performed at any time and anywhere.

How to practice?
Mudras are best performed while sitting. The only requirement is that your back is straight.
You should not experience any tension or pain.

When to practice?
You can perform mudras at any time when you feel the need to replenish energy.

How often should you do mudras?
There are no restrictions in this matter, but the best option is to perform mudras twice a day.

But the most favorable time is morning or evening.
Most mudras give an immediate effect - you will immediately feel a surge of strength, clarity of mind, and peace. If you are faced with more serious problems, then discipline and perseverance will be required. The mudras you choose will need to be practiced for several weeks before you feel a deep change in yourself that will eliminate the problem that is tormenting you.

To use the mudr technique correctly you need to know this.

The Mudra technique is performed in combination of three constituent elements.

1 Asana- body position.
2 Mudra- position of fingers, hands.
3 Mantra- sound, vibration created, resonance.

Only with a combination of three components is the effect achieved.

Mudras use the fingers and sometimes the toes.

Hand positions, gestures, rolling are not only the external shape and configuration of the palms. All of them are associated with internal energy processes, with the movement of energy.

Mudra to strengthen memory is performed on both hands.

Mudra that stimulates the work of the heart, strengthens the heart muscle.

Execution technique

Your left hand is in front of your chest, with the inside of your palm facing outward. Bend your fingers. Now clasp your left hand with your right, with the back of your right hand facing outward. Move your hands to heart level. As you exhale, vigorously pull both arms in different directions, but do not release them. As you do this, you will feel the muscles in your upper arms and chest tighten. As you inhale, relax your muscles. Repeat six times, and then lovingly place both hands on your chest. Concentrate on the sensations in that area of your body. Then change the position of your hands: the back of your right hand faces outward. Repeat the exercise six times. After this, remain silent for some time.

Finger magic of the east (Ninja magic)

Most gestures are closely intertwined with other components of rituals: graphic signs, recitatives and sounds, altars, sacred relics, smoking sticks, candles and other paraphernalia.

Many gestures are associated with a specific secret graphic sign, sound and indicate an object or phenomenon in the surrounding world.
All together - gestures, attributes, symbols and rituals give birth to what is called magic.

Gesture Spells

A small space, enclosed within the tight framework of something (weapons, hands, etc.) in the mind of a person contemplating it, has two main “properties”: accumulating something or being filled with something, which are two sides of one medals; and strives to expand, which inevitably leads to the breaking of the walls of the “fence” in the most fragile place.
Another property of this space is that, like a certain neck, it can pass through itself streams of anything, both in one direction and in the other. All these “images - properties” determine the use of gestures in magical practices.
