Minimum exam scores table. Transfer of Unified State Exam points: Detailed description of the assessment system. What is the minimum score?

The Unified State Exam is a federal knowledge testing system, on the basis of which a decision is made on whether a graduate is enrolled in a particular university. What should be the minimum USE 2017 scores in all subjects to guarantee admission to a higher education institution? This will be discussed in our article.

Unified State Exam 2017: changes and innovations

Until 2016, the state exam was taken only in testing format. On the one hand, this created certain difficulties for schoolchildren: creative subjects, such as literature, are very difficult to fit into the framework of dry tests. On the other hand, the testing form itself gives a hint to the attentive student - it is easier to choose the correct solution from several answer options.

These facts significantly influenced the decision of the Ministry of Education to make a number of changes to the Unified State Examination system. Accordingly, the mechanism for awarding Unified State Examination 2017 points will also change.

And, perhaps, the main innovation that awaits schoolchildren in 2017 is an oral exam in the Russian language, one of the compulsory subjects of the Unified State Exam.

Another change is the introduction of a third compulsory subject. Let us remind you that today schoolchildren are required to take mathematics and the Russian language; students have the right to choose the remaining subjects independently. History is intended to complement the “main pair,” although today the third compulsory subject has not yet been fully determined. The choice of history is not accidental: as the results of past exams show, the level of knowledge in this discipline among modern schoolchildren is catastrophically low. The innovation, according to officials, should raise interest in the subject and force students to pay maximum attention to it.

At the same time, it is also planned to take history orally - at least partially. The oral form will help create a more complete picture of the student’s level of knowledge and will help to understand how deeply the student understands the subject.

If history is nevertheless included in the list of compulsory subjects, then students will have the following subjects to choose from:

  • Biology
  • Computer science
  • Social science
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Foreign language
  • Geography
  • Literature

Of these subjects, the student will need to choose only one and score at least the threshold value in it.

Minimum Unified State Examination Scores in 2017: score table

There are two options for minimum Unified State Exam 2017 scores: for a certificate and for admission to universities. The first must be overcome in order to obtain a certificate of secondary education, the second serves as a criterion for admission to universities in the country. In some subjects these values coincide, but there are also differences. If the threshold level is not overcome, documents for admission to a university or institute from yesterday’s graduate will simply not be accepted.

Mathematics

  • Certification score - 3
  • Test score – 27

Russian language

  • Certification score – 24
  • The threshold for a university is 34

Students are given the opportunity to retake the exam twice. Moreover, a chance to correct their grades is provided even if the student has overcome the threshold level and simply wants to increase the overall score. Another plus is that a graduate can use the exam results for three years.

Currently, data on the threshold level is based on summary information for the previous year. Passing scores in all subjects in 2017 are the minimum level of knowledge that a student must demonstrate. Reaching the threshold for the Unified State Exam 2017 means showing a fairly low level of knowledge. Teachers at higher educational institutions assess the general level of education of schoolchildren as quite low, complaining about the insufficient aspirations of yesterday's students to become professionals.

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science has summed up the preliminary results of the Unified State Exam in the Russian language, which was held during the main exam period on June 9.

Almost 617 thousand people took part in the exam. The average score on the Unified State Exam in Russian in 2017 is comparable to last year’s result.

The minimum threshold for obtaining a certificate of 24 points was not overcome by 0.5% of exam participants (in 2016 their number was 1%).

“This year the trend towards improving results in compulsory subjects continues. The share of graduates who were left without certificates decreased by almost 1.5 times, and this does not even take into account the results of upcoming retakes. These results indicate the success of the “I will pass the Unified State Exam” project and are the result of serious targeted work that was carried out with lagging schoolchildren in regions and municipalities, where the Unified State Exam results of previous years revealed serious problems with the level of school education,” said Sergei Kravtsov, head of Rosobrnadzor.

The minimum threshold of 36 points, below which universities cannot set a passing Unified State Examination score in the Russian language for applicants, was not overcome by 1.6% of participants. In 2016, the number of Unified State Examination participants in the Russian language who did not pass this threshold was 2.5%.

Thanks to the large-scale implementation of new technology for scanning participants’ work at examination points (PE), the verification of work and processing of the Unified State Examination results in the Russian language were completed ahead of schedule. Exam participants will be able to find out their results five days earlier - from June 22.

Graduates of the current year who were unable to achieve the minimum score required to receive a certificate on the Unified State Exam in Russian, but received a positive result on the Unified State Exam in mathematics, will be able to retake the Russian language on the reserve date for passing the Unified State Exam - June 29.

Constantly changing. In 2017, applicants will be faced with several innovations at once. Among them is a special methodology for calculating threshold points for admission. The initiator of the reform was the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. In the summer of 2016, the department approached the Ministry of Education and Science with a proposal to entrust Rosobrnadzor with the development of a new scheme for calculating the Unified State Exam threshold score. Today it does not exist as such, and the minimum scores for admission are set based on the results of the previous year’s graduates.

In 2017, they will finally develop a methodology for calculating threshold points

Passing scores for the Unified State Exam 2017 upon admission

If you trace how the numbers have changed over the entire existence of the Unified State Exam, you can come to the conclusion: the requirements for graduates are becoming stricter from year to year. But officials believe that the low scores of eleventh-graders indicate their insufficient level of knowledge. The head of Rosobrnadzor promised to develop a new assessment methodology by 2017. For now, graduates can only rely on the 2016 standards. To enroll in a bachelor's or specialist's degree, you need to score the following points:

  • Russian language – 36
  • Mathematics – 27
  • Computer Science – 40
  • Biology – 36
  • History – 32
  • Chemistry – 36
  • Foreign languages – 22
  • Physics – 36
  • Social studies – 42
  • Literature – 32
  • Geography – 37

Moreover, each university can set its own threshold scores. The more prestigious the establishment, the higher the requirements. Thus, the average score for admission to a highly competitive university is 70 points for each subject. If your goal is to obtain a certificate of secondary education, then it is enough to pass the Russian language with 24 points and specialized level mathematics with 27 points. Each student can retake the Unified State Exam twice, even if his result is above the threshold mark.

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science has summed up the preliminary results of the 2017 Unified State Exam in social studies, literature and physics.

During the main period, about 318 thousand participants took the Unified State Exam in Social Studies, the Unified State Exam in Physics - more than 155 thousand participants, the Unified State Exam in Literature - more than 41 thousand participants. Average scores in all three subjects in 2017 are comparable to last year.

The number of Unified State Exam participants who failed to overcome the established minimum threshold in subjects has decreased: in social studies to 13.8% from 17.5% last year, in physics - to 3.8% from 6.1%, in literature - to 2 .9% from 4.4% a year earlier.

“The average scores are comparable to last year’s results, this indicates the stability of the exam and the objectivity of the assessment. It is important that the number of those who fail to overcome the minimum thresholds decreases. This happens largely due to competent work with the results of the Unified State Examination, when they are analyzed and used in the work of institutes for advanced training of teachers. In a number of regions, the project “I will pass the Unified State Exam” has produced very serious results,” noted the head of Rosobrnadzor, Sergei Kravtsov.

Thanks to the use of technology for scanning participants' work at examination points, the Unified State Examination results in social studies, literature and physics were processed ahead of the deadlines established by the schedule for issuing results. Graduates will be able to find out their results a day earlier.

Surely, from the first days of the school year, not only future school graduates, but also their parents, who are worried about their children, are thinking about the Unified State Exam, about whether their children will be able to successfully pass the difficult test in the form of mandatory exams and certifications in school education.

And it’s probably not in vain that they are worried, because this is a kind of pass to higher educational institutions and a rather difficult test for which you need to prepare intensively - sit down with your textbooks, forget about evening trips to discos, and attend additional classes and take courses, especially in those subjects , which are in question.

All of the above requires a lot of time, diligence, effort and patience.

That is why future school graduates who will have to take exams must set themselves up for responsible preparation for future exams, from the first days of the upcoming school year.

But at this stage we are interested in slightly different questions that do not relate to preparation, but to passing average scores, what will they be? website

Mandatory minimum and average passing scores for the Unified State Exam in the 2017 academic year, as well as transitions with a scale of grades and points, that’s what we’ll talk about below.

Also about what a future applicant to a higher educational institution needs, how many points he will have to score in a particular subject, and so on.

Average and passing scores of the Unified State Exam 2017 - minimum

The grading system proposed below and the scale for converting Unified State Exam points into 2017, as well as knowing about the minimum, average and passing scores, are necessary for those students who are not yet accustomed to the innovation; it is difficult for them to adapt to the new system of accrual and scoring; it is inconvenient to transfer points from the unified state exam into their usual grades.

Indeed, schoolchildren have a certain confusion in their heads, they are lost and cannot determine exactly how many points they need to score in a particular subject when taking the Unified State Exam, as well as how much they will receive for solving some problem. website

In a word, this article is proposed in order to understand this, in principle, not a complex problem. Remember that in any business you need accuracy and reliability of the information that we present to you.

The benefits of the Unified State Exam score conversion scale for students in 2017

The proposed scale for converting grades and awarded Unified State Exam points in the 2017 academic year will help future students quickly and accurately convert the points they have earned into grades that they understand in order to summarize and comprehend the result obtained, to understand the new one hundred (100) point assessment system received by schoolchildren knowledge.

So we come to the main topic of this article - below we present to you, as future students of Russian universities, an updated version of the scale for transferring and assessing the results of state exams, which will be used in the 2017 academic year, and which has already been “tested” in the last academic season and In general, both students and teachers liked it.

Unified State Exam scores 2017 - what's new and useful in exams?

It’s so customary in our country that with the onset of the new school season, we wait with a “chill in our soul” for some new products, which, as we know, do not make life easier for a student, but only complicate it. What to expect in the new academic year, for example, from passing final and mandatory state exams, or certification?

Specialists from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and relevant departments are constantly studying their own and world experience, trying to take into account the mistakes of previous testing campaigns at school.

The abilities of schoolchildren, their potential and interest in studying at universities are also analyzed, as well as the latter’s ability to “process” the number of future students that is planned in the near future.

Subsequently, all information received is processed and adjusted in accordance with the results obtained, which makes the examination process in schools more effective (according to experts from the Ministry of Education). website

But all of the above does not please schoolchildren - future students, because in the desire of officials to “make their life easier”, to make passing exams more effective, like everything they propose, it only creates unnecessary problems and considerable difficulties.

As for the conduct of the unified state exam in the 2016-2017 academic year, it will probably remain the same as it was discussed recently. Almost all the nuances of the future examination campaign are known, although some of them are still in plans and proposals.

Specialists from the Ministry of Education, as well as the country's leading teachers, are still discussing and finalizing the future examination company. At the moment, we know for certain about the innovations that are guaranteed to happen and that are expected.

New in the Unified State Exam 2017 - innovations in exams

In past academic years, school graduates were required to pass two mandatory state exams - in mathematics and the Russian language. From the coming school season there will be one more of them, i.e. three, which we will talk about below...

Officials from the Ministry of Education claim that there will definitely be a third subject as a compulsory state exam and it is extremely necessary. But it is not yet clear exactly what exam graduates will be forced to take in 2017.

If you believe the rumors that have been spreading for a long time, then this subject will be History, although there are also suspicions that it will be Foreign Language. website

The choice in favor of history will most likely be justified, because it is known that the level of knowledge of Russian history, including world history, among modern youth is quite low, and they want, to put it mildly, some changes for the better.

On the other hand, a mandatory state exam in a foreign language is also justified and relevant. Indeed, in the modern world, without knowledge of a foreign language, it is very difficult to achieve any heights and fully express oneself.

So, it is not yet clear and unknown in favor of which particular subject Russian officials will choose. But in any case, there will definitely be a third compulsory state exam (USE) in the 2017 academic year...

Unified State Exam subjects in 2017 - at the student’s choice

As in previous academic years, students will be able to take exams in 1 (one) subject (previously there were 2), which they will choose at their discretion.

The total number of exams in 2017 remains the same - there will be 4 (3 mandatory).

If previously a student could choose 2 exams at his own discretion, now, due to the fact that there are 3 (three) mandatory exams, he is left with the choice of only 1 (one) exam.

If in the upcoming academic year the third compulsory exam is History or Foreign Language, then one of them will drop out of the list of possible options (choose a subject at your discretion). In this case, the student has the following subjects that he can choose:

Subject - Physics
--- : --- Computer science;
--- : --- Chemistry
--- : --- Story
--- : --- Biology;
--- : --- Social science;
--- : --- Geography;
--- : --- Russian literature;
--- : --- Foreign language (English, German, French or Spanish).

There is still enough time before the Unified State Examination 2017 to prepare well, and it is obvious that schoolchildren - future students - will face a third mandatory exam, which one is still unknown. website

First of all, they are interested in the question of whether History or Foreign Language will become the third compulsory test, and if neither one nor the other, which subject in this case will be the third and will take the currently empty place in the “cherished” three.

Did you know that one of the reasons for introducing the third additional state exam was that schoolchildren began to successfully pass state exams the first time much more often...

Good luck to all schoolchildren and future students in the 2017 academic year - successfully pass everything, not only the mandatory state exams, and enter the university where you dream of studying and gaining knowledge!

Unified State Exam 2017

Criteria for assessing Unified State Exam scores in 2017

Some students, to some extent, perceive the minimum scores on the Unified State Exam as an opportunity to feel relaxed, because in essence, as he believes, he has passed the Unified State Exam, i.e. passed this mark. But there is also a downside - in no case should you underestimate the minimum exam grade.

This does not even mean such a phrase as “it will do” or “and that’s enough. This means that this student, who thinks like this, is not interested in anything, but certainly not interested in his future fate.
He reasons in this way: I passed the required mathematics and Russian language somehow, which means I’m free and will do whatever I want. If earlier it was possible to somehow justify such an approach, to understand the student to some extent, although with a huge stretch, then at the moment it is impossible to say so, everything has changed dramatically recently.

After all, no one will argue that this is the information age with rapidly changing technologies, where hard work is no longer valued, but human knowledge, his ability to act and make the right decisions, as well as responsibility and a professional attitude to his work are more in demand.

Where can that boy or girl of high school students who treat the Unified State Exam take responsibility in this way? And this is where it all begins, how you feel about yourself, gaining knowledge, passing exams, future studies at a university or college, mastering a future profession and how your life will turn out.

No one hides that today in Russia there are big problems with professionals in their field, specialists in a variety of fields, and this is an excellent reason to declare yourself, for which, first of all, you need to come to your senses and show what you are capable of, and first in total in state exams, to achieve not the minimum, but the maximum score on the Unified State Exam.
