Filters for sterilization boxes make it possible to sterilize medical objects and materials in steam sterilizers under pressure (0.2 ± 0.02) MPa, at a temperature of 132 ± 2 °C for 20 minutes or under pressure (0.11 ± 0. 02) MPa, at a temperature of 120 ºС for 45 minutes, while the filters are suitable for microbiological filtration of the air during subsequent storage. To replace used filters, the company produces sets of spare filters for sterilization boxes of all sizes. The set consists of two filters. One package contains 5 sets of filters for boxes of the same size. Sets of spare filters can also be used to replace filters in round sterilization boxes of the KF type. Since 2004, filters of the same standard size in KSKF and KF boxes are completely interchangeable!
Sterilization box KF and sterilization box KSKF - during operation it is prohibited to use without filters!
Bix medical KF has a warranty period of 36 months
Package: The KF box and the KSKF box are sold only assembled; inside the box there are instructions for use (manufacturer’s passport) and 2 filters. The sterilization box with assembled filters is packed in individual packaging containers (branded cardboard box).
Peculiarities: The sterilization box KF (medical box with filter) produced by OJSC "DZMO" (Doschatinsky Medical Equipment Plant) does not include any rubber seals in its design, since it is used special technology rolling sheet metal, and also has 3 on the base of the body metal legs which provide a guaranteed gap for the passage of steam when installing boxes in the sterilizer on top of each other - this is essential technical advantage over other box manufacturers.

The filters are suitable for reusable use and can be easily disposed of by burning; they are guaranteed to withstand at least 60 sterilization cycles - they are a consumable replacement material, so additional filters of all sizes can be purchased separately. The set of filters for the KF and KSKF boxes consists of 2 pieces. Filters for KSKF sterilization boxes are installed in special places on the bottom and lid of the box. The KF filter is placed under a clamp and snapped into place with a clamp (KSKF) or under a screw clamp (KF). Sterilization boxes KF-3/6/9/12/18 are intended for placing medical items and materials in it for the purpose of sterilization in steam sterilizers, further storage and delivery to the place of use.

Principle of operation boxes is based on the penetrating ability of steam through the filters inside the boxes and the ability of the filters to microbiologically filter the air environment.

Basic bridles and details

The boxes consist of housings with hinged lid, which is tightly closed with locking locks. The hinged joint allows the lid to be opened as fully as possible.

The cover is equipped with a pen to carry the box.

On the base of the case there are legs

Boxes are completed two replaceable filters from filter diagonal art. 2074 according to GOST 332, which are mounted in the lid and on the bottom, with inside boxes using clamps.

The period of preservation of sterility in the box after sterilization is up to 20 days according to MU-287-113.

The service life of filters with one sterilization per day is 1 month.

Replacement filters from other manufacturers cannot guarantee sterility.

Characteristics:

* overall diameter includes hinge and lock

** overall height is indicated from the top of the cover for the bottom, taking into account the length of the legs

Advantages:

2. At the base of the box body there are legs that provide a guaranteed gap for the passage of steam when installing boxes with a steam sterilizer on top of each other.

Sterilization boxes KSPF-9/KSPF-18 are intended for placement of medical products made of corrosion-resistant metals, glass, rubber, latex, certain types of plastics, textile products, as well as dressings and suture materials, for the purpose of sterilization in steam sterilizers, delivery to the place of use in a sterile state and storage after sterilization within a regulated period. Used in hospitals and other medical institutions.

STERILIZATION BOXES- containers for placing dressings, surgical linen, surgical instruments, gloves and other items during their sterilization, delivery to the place of use and subsequent short-term storage (boxes). S. to. allow to create in the treating-prof. institutions reserve sterile materials for urgent surgical interventions and promote the centralized use of sterilization equipment (see Scientific organization of labor).

In the second half of the 19th century. in Moscow, G.V. Mendel proposed the use of zinc boxes for placing dressings in them during sterilization. Later, E. Braatz proposed wire baskets (Braatz boxes) for instruments during autoclaving, and A. Diihrssen proposed cylindrical tin boxes with holes around the perimeter, in the bottom and in the lid. K. Schimmelbusch used a tetrahedral box with a lattice bottom (Schimmelbusch box) to sterilize materials.

Currently, round and rectangular filters are used, with and without a filter. Their main specifications are given in the table.

Round sterilizers without a filter (bixes) are intended for use in sterilizers (see), which have a predominantly cylindrical sterilization chamber. They consist of a body, a cover and a belt moving along the body (Fig. 1). There are holes in the body and in the belt, which are aligned during the sterilization period (before placement in the sterilizer). When unloading the S. from the sterilizer, the belt is shifted, closing it. holes so that the sterile instruments and materials located in the SK do not come into contact with the air of the room. The sterility of the material is maintained for up to 3 days. The belt is equipped with a tension lock, which prevents its spontaneous movement.

For more long-term preservation sterility of materials (up to 20 days) are used. round type KSKF (Fig. 2) and rectangular type KSPF (Fig. 3). They are equipped with biol. a filter made of textile materials (diagonal filter, non-woven cloth, bleaching calico, calico, madapolam, etc.), which are attached to the inside of the body and lid.

It is recommended to place a gasket on the bottom of the container before placing materials in it ( cotton fabric, gauze or other material), which will absorb the moisture that accumulates after sterilization. It is better to wrap individual items (tools, gloves) in a double layer of gauze before placing them in the S.C. and place them loosely (on the edge) in the S.C. Linen and dressings should be rolled into flat bags and placed in the S.C. without compaction. also on the edge so that the palm fits freely between them. When closing the S. k., the lid is locked. The lid should not compress the contents of the sterilizer. When sterilizing, to control the temperature in the sterilizer, they use samples with substances whose melting point is known (sulfur melts at 115°, benzoin at 122°, etc.). These substances in the form of powder in bottles or test tubes are placed in the sterilizer among the material being sterilized, and at the end of sterilization they check whether the powder has melted or not. Sometimes indicators are added to the powder - safranin, brilliant green, etc., which color them at the moment of melting in the corresponding color. A tag is attached to the lock of the closed lid, which indicates the date of sterilization, the name of the employee who performed the installation, a list of sterilization objects located in the sterilization center, and in the case of a centralized sterilization facility, the department.
