You can continue your acquaintance with Georgian winemaking and the Alazani Valley in the city of Telavi. This is a convenient base for traveling around the area to the monasteries of Alaverdi, Ikalto, the royal fortress of Gremi, as well as to private wineries, for example in Tsinandali. By the way, in Tsinandali, go to the house-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze, Griboyedov’s father-in-law, a famous Georgian poet and public figure.

I recommend going to the Sno valley to the village of Juta (the highest mountain in Europe, but this is not certain) and to the Truso valley with its springs. And next to Stepantsminda, delicious mineral water comes out of the ground, there is also a swimming pool with this very water, and even with a view of the mountains - magnificent!
