The ruins of a Minoan-era Mali palace were found here. Fragments of buildings, utensils, and workshops have been preserved in the palace. Fragments of some found vessels confirm that there was a settlement on the site of Malia during the Neolithic era.
The multifaceted city will be of interest to everyone who wants to spend beach holiday with visiting both entertainment and cultural events, but not very suitable option for holidays with small children.
