Installation of a cersanite toilet. Toilet installation technology. Removing the old toilet

Now on sale a large number of various models of toilets. Each of them, depending on the design, requires a certain placement of pipes in the bathroom and an appropriate size of installation space. Therefore, when choosing, you should pay attention to some plumbing details. For example, a toilet with floor installation Vista has a slanted drain and a single drain. This release option is very convenient to use and install. The advantages of the model can best be described by consumers who have installed such a unit at home, as well as photographs.

Model description

The Vista compact toilet is a universal floor model with a drain tank, which is attached to the shelf of the bowl. Compacts - classic version, which is always in trend. They are the simplest and most convenient to install, further maintain, and are the best in price. The main advantage of compacts is the ability to replace one part if it is damaged, rather than the entire toilet.

The package includes:

  • bowl;
  • tank;
  • fittings for drainage;
  • propylene seat.

Cersanit Vista - floor standing toilet, that is, it is attached with special plumbing dowels directly to the floor. This model is very popular among consumers. It is easy to use and very reliable.

Toilet Cersanit Vista

The tank is attached to the bowl almost closely, which makes the device more compact. The flush in this toilet model is circular or reverse - this is ensured by directing water jets along a certain path through special channels. This type of flush guarantees very high-quality cleaning from impurities, because the water completely washes the entire bowl, and not a specific area, as happens in the case of a direct direction.

Advice. When choosing a toilet, you must pay attention to the drain, the hose, and the design as a whole. This will help you save a lot of money and make your design dreams come true.

The flush in the Cersanit Vista toilet is controlled using a push-button mechanism. This model has one button, that is, a single drain. It is pressed inward, which is considered a more reliable mechanism than a push-button mechanism. Each flush takes about 6 liters of water.

Insignificant noise when filling the tank with water is ensured by the lower supply - when it enters, the water flows like a fountain, rather than pouring from above.

The inside of the Vista model has a visor bowl, sloping towards the outlet. In such a bowl, sewage does not linger, but immediately goes into the drain and the possibility of splashing water during flushing is eliminated.

The release design is considered the most important parameter when deciding on the choice of toilet. An outlet is a drain hole that connects to the sewer system. The release option in the Vista model is oblique - the pipe is located at an angle of inclination. Thanks to this, the toilet is less likely to clog and is connected to any type of drain. The design of Cersanit Vista toilets is quite simple.

Advice. When installing compact toilets, it is better to first place the tank on the bowl and then connect it to the riser.

What material are Cersanit toilets made of?

In the manufacture of toilets at Cersanit production, two types of ceramics are used:

  • - a fairly durable material that is resistant to various influences. It acquires such properties thanks to the latest technologies firing Average term service of sanitaryware products for thirty years;
  • sanitary porcelain - the cost of this material is slightly higher than earthenware. It is also durable and resistant to various impacts. The service life of products made from it is up to fifty years.

Toilet bowl

Finished plumbing products are additionally coated in layers with a special glaze, which protects them from damage. The mechanism in the tank, through which the drain occurs, is made of high-quality plastic.

Advantages of the Cersanit Vista toilet

  • Durability of the materials from which the product is made.
  • Easy to install - it can be connected to any type of riser.
  • Affordable price and excellent quality.
  • Simplicity and ease of use.
  • Manufacturer's warranty - 10 years.

Cersanit Vista parameters

Cersanit installation systems are characterized by stylish design and long service life. To make the right purchase, it is recommended to study the features of choosing and installing such products.

What it is?

Cersanit is a Polish company that occupies a leading position in the production of sanitary ware. The company has been known for many years and offers its audience only high-quality and modern solutions. To date, Cersanit installations are manufactured at 12 factories, which are equipped modern equipment. The manufacturer has repeatedly received Superbrand awards and is considered the best trading brand in Russia. The manufacturer enjoys the attention of buyers because he offers his audience stylish models high quality at affordable prices. Devices rarely break down, which is why the Cersanit brand is considered a reliable plumbing supplier.

Peculiarities

Installation is metal structure, on which plumbing fixtures with auxiliary elements (for example, a drain button) are attached. Before purchasing, you should study the pros and cons of this device to make sure that Cersanit products are suitable for your purposes.

The advantages of the installation include the following qualities:

  • attractive appearance;
  • saving free space: the seat is fixed directly to the box, so you can rationally use the space by installing built-in cabinets and shelves above the toilet;
  • cleanliness: since installation is carried out directly into the wall, users do not encounter the accumulation of dirt - wall-hung toilets are easy to clean;
  • the drainage system is located in the wall, so the device operates quietly;
  • Plumbing installations have a long service life.

Despite the fact that the devices occupy leading positions in the ranking of manufacturers, the products have disadvantages.

Disadvantages include:

  • price: the devices are overpriced compared to traditional toilets;
  • no direct access to pipes;
  • complexity repair work: in case of malfunction, the box will need to be dismantled.

Kinds

The manufacturer offers several installations that differ in their design.

Depending on the fastening, two types are distinguished:

  1. block system - such a device is suitable if there are conditions for fixing the system to the wall;
  2. frame installations are considered complex devices, installation is carried out on the floor surface, and the frames are fixed to the walls. The frame system allows you to adjust the height of the toilet above the floor, which is quite convenient.

The choice may also be influenced drain mechanism devices.

The flush button can be of several types:

  • dual-mode;
  • with “flush-stop” option;
  • contactless.

The first two options are simple and easy to repair. The contactless button has a special sensor that independently checks whether there is a person near the toilet and drains the water.

Equipment

The wall-hung toilet kit consists of the following items:

  • control levers paired with a special block;
  • fittings that are fixed to the wall;
  • fastening material;
  • adapter, drain tank;
  • sound insulation.

There are models with and without a flush button. You should carefully read the model and check that all the necessary components are present so as not to return to the store again.

Dimensions

The dimensions of the systems may vary depending on the engineer’s ideas. There is a norm according to which standard Cersanit installations are made:

  • the length of the products is 50-60 cm;
  • bowl height - 30-50 cm;
  • product width - 30-40 cm.

The structures can withstand loads weighing up to 800 kg.

There are traditional tank sizes. In rare cases, its length exceeds 50 cm; models with a width of 10 cm are mainly used. The parameters depend on the type of installation. Frame structures have the following dimensions:

  • depth - 15-30 cm;
  • height - 80-140 cm;
  • width - 40-60 cm.

Block systems have the following parameters:

  • width - 50-60 cm;
  • depth - 10-15 cm;
  • height up to 100 cm.

How to position?

First of all, you will need to decide on the place where it will be located suspended structure. Select an area that is close to water and sewer lines. Keep in mind that the toilet should not interfere with users’ free movement around the bathroom.

Once the location has been determined, installation activities can begin.

To do this, you need markup, which should have a number of features:

  • is responsible for the accuracy of the entire process and proper fastening of the structure;
  • applied based on the dimensions of the installation;
  • signs should be placed on the surface of the wall that will indicate the location of the central axis of the system;

  • measure at what distance the product will be placed relative to the wall. The distance should not exceed 13.5 mm;
  • indicate a location for the cistern. The norms are about 1 meter from the floor surface;
  • On the floor or wall, indicate the places where the fasteners will be located.

These steps will help simplify the installation and eliminate installation errors.

Installation

To install a plumbing installation, you must adhere to step by step guide and follow the sequence of actions. Correct Actions guarantee system performance and time savings. The installation instructions consist of the following steps:

  • At the marked points you need to drill holes for fasteners and secure the dowels;
  • then you should fix the anchor bolts in the dowels on which the toilet will be held; the body part of the installation is secured using bolts and adjusting nuts, which are included in the installation kit;
  • Next you need to adjust the installation horizontally and vertically; the horizontal level is adjusted using legs, which must be secured after setting, the vertical level is adjusted with an anchor bolt, closed with a plug;

  • connect the communications: it is necessary to connect the pipeline and the tank using a hose, and also connect the structure to the sewer system; to connect to the sewer, it is recommended to use rigid pipes rather than corrugated ones - this is due to the fact that the latter have a very limited resource, and to replace them you will need to dismantle the wall on which the entire structure is attached;
  • connect the toilet to the flush cistern using a pipe;
  • fasten metal plates to the lower edge of the structure: for this you should use anchors inserted through the installation strip into the holes in the wall;
  • secure the plate using fasteners;
  • check all connections and make sure installation is secure;

  • install false wall cladding that will hide the entire structure;
  • install the necessary fasteners;
  • When installing to a false wall, you must remember that wall hung toilet should be 40-42 cm above floor level;
  • connect the sewer pipe to the toilet, it is located no lower than 22-23 cm from the floor;
  • install the drain tank, drain valve together with the button;
  • connect the tank to the water supply system.

When working, remember that the required sewer slope must be at least 45 degrees.

First of all, a pipe is brought into the equipped niche, the cross-section of which is 100 mm, with a slope towards the sewer of at least 5 cm. Its edge should be 25 cm from the center of the niche, and only after that is it possible to install its outlet at 45 degrees.

During the installation process, it is necessary to constantly monitor the installation level to prevent the formation of unwanted distortions.

Adjustment

After the installation of the structure is completed, its functionality should be checked. Leaks should also be excluded. If in installed installation if it is detected, adjustment will be required. It is necessary to adjust the emergency tube, which drains excess water if the float or shut-off valve does not work.

There are two solutions to this leak:

  1. in case of a small leak, you can raise the emergency tube above the water level;
  2. if the first option does not give the desired result and the water flows, you need to lower its level to cistern. To do this, use the adjusting screws to lower the float lower.

The installed installation may contain defective parts. The drain button is often unusable. If water does not flush out when you press the valve, this indicates a malfunction drain fittings. The connections between the button and the valve may be broken, or the failure lies in separate parts. In this case, it is necessary to remove the defective part and repair it or replace it with a new one.

Models and reviews

Plumbing installations from the Polish manufacturer Cersanit are in great demand. Popularity is due not only high quality products, but also affordable prices. If we compare with German trademarks, their one toilet costs the same as the Polish company’s entire system and components. The manufacturer produces several types of products, among which are the following popular models that are in great demand.

Leon Delfi "5 in 1"

This model is considered the best budget choice. The Delfi line is the most popular collection, about which there are numerous positive reviews. Despite the plastic components, there are very few complaints about the operation of the device; the model is characterized by a long service life and uninterrupted functionality. The systems are equipped with an antibacterial seat or a polypropylene seat with a microlift device.

Some customer reviews indicate that the drain mechanism breaks. Finding spare parts for repairs is quite difficult, so most consumers replace the entire tank completely. The installation is affordable, which attracts a lot of fans.

Good day, dear readers!

In my case, I had to do the installation of the toilet myself, a second time, because it was necessary to lay tiles on the bathroom floor.

Therefore, first it was necessary to dismantle the toilet.

Everything turned out very simply: the corrugated sewer pipe was disconnected, as well as the flexible hose supplying water.

An important point, since the house is far from new, and the sewer system is actively used, it is extremely important to close the sewer hole to prevent air with carbon dioxide and other poisonous gases from entering the room.

For this purpose, a plastic bag was securely placed on the corrugated pipe.

The next stage is marking the installation site. For this purpose, the second tile from the wall was chosen on the floor.

This distance allows you to freely dismantle and install the water meter on the left side, and also allows you to operate the toilet in close proximity to the bathtub on the right side and connect communications from behind (connecting a corrugated sewer pipe).

Since the color of the floor tiles is not conducive to marking with a pencil or marker,

then red electrical tape was chosen for this purpose. It adheres well to ceramic tiles and stands out perfectly on the surface.

The toilet was pre-installed in the intended installation location, with insulating tape applied along the bottom of the body.

White spots were applied to the tape (you can use glue) to indicate the places corresponding to the location of the holes on the toilet body.

In the presented case, the attachment to the floor of the toilet body is internal, not external.

Toilet installation Cersanit was carried out using a mounting kit for ceramic products included with the toilet.

Here is a diagram of the installation procedure.

The next step is drilling holes for mounting to the floor.

To this end, first ceramic tile was drilled using a screwdriver and a ceramic drill (diameter 10 mm), and then the hole was deepened into concrete base floor using a hammer drill and a concrete drill (diameter – 10 mm).

The holes in the floor were made so that they were opposite the side holes on the bottom of the toilet body, and also to provide the required distance, calculated for the total thickness of the wall of the lower part of the body and the plastic fastener.

Plastic dowels from the kit were placed in the finished holes and then attached to the floor plastic corners using self-tapping screws and an open-end wrench.

Now you can install the toilet on top and secure its body with two self-tapping screws using a Phillips screwdriver.

Nuance: The toilet must be installed with sealant. That is, between the tiles and the toilet, along the entire perimeter of the contact between the toilet and the floor tiles, it is necessary to apply sealant using a gun. Thanks to the sealant, water will not flow under the toilet and the toilet will “sit” tightly in its seat.

Thus, the work came to an end. It should be noted that toilet installation do it yourself requires some experience with ceramic materials so as not to damage the tile.

The final stage is the installation of a flexible hose for water supply and corrugated pipe. Before installing the corrugated pipe on the toilet drain hole, you must first lubricate the joints with plumbing glue-sealant.

The installation of the toilet on your own was successfully completed.

Materials and tools used during installation:

Hammer;

Cersanit kit for fixing the toilet to the floor;

Drill for glass and ceramics (d = 10 mm);

Drill for concrete (d = 10 mm);

Screwdriver;

Crosshead screwdriver;

Open-end wrench;

Latex gloves;

Sealant gun;

Silicone adhesive sealant.

Most people are sure that assembling a toilet is a very complex process, and only professional plumbers should do this work. This is wrong. All these manipulations can be done independently at home, following some tips and recommendations.

Basic moments

As a rule, the toilet is installed on a solid concrete or tile base. Fasten using dowels, special screws, bolts or glue. Often, a rubber or silicone gasket is placed between the base and the compact itself. More precise fastening methods and a diagram for assembling the toilet are described in the manufacturer's instructions, which come with the compact.

  • if you cause damage when assembling plumbing, improper installation, design changes and other alterations;
  • in case of other mechanical damage during transportation or operation;
  • at improper care, using dirty water with mechanical impurities;
  • when using aggressive chemicals for cleaning the compact.

Compact installation

  1. Check the level and prepare the floor for installing the toilet, check the cold water supply, prepare the tap and strainer. The tap is needed so that if the toilet fails, you can easily turn off the water. For installation and tightness of the connection, use FUM tape and rubber gaskets.
  2. Connect the toilet bowl with sewer pipeline. The connection should not interfere with the flow of water from the plumbing. The higher the output, the better the flush.
  3. Make markings for attaching the toilet base. Marking is carried out through the mounting holes for dowels.
  4. Separate the bowl from the drain, take a hammer drill and drill holes for dowels or screws. The diameter of the drill should be the same as the diameter of the dowels.
  5. Place the bowl and screw it to the floor. To do this, use a set of dowels, bolts, caps and gaskets. For better stability of the plumbing fixtures, you need to additionally coat the base of the toilet with tiled or epoxy glue. The glue is applied with a spatula in the corners so that the layer thickness is at least 5 mm.
  6. Check the settings of all water supply and drainage mechanisms for compliance with the instructions. If there are any deviations, adjust them. The setup diagram and corresponding recommendations are included in technical documentation to the fittings.
  7. Install all drainage and water supply mechanisms in the tank.
  8. Correctly connect the flexible hose to the water intake valve connection to the tank.
  9. Insert the fastening elements into the holes of the tank. Place a rubber gasket to seal the connection between the tank and bowl. Place the tank on the toilet bowl shelf so that all mounting bolts fit into the holes in the shelf.
  10. Tighten the mounting bolts until the connection is completely sealed. Tighten the nuts one at a time to avoid breaking the compact. Watch the gaskets and do not overtighten the fasteners.
  11. Assembling the seat should not pose any particular difficulties. Install the seat and screw it to the bowl, following the assembly instructions. Check the seat visually. There should be no swelling, roughness or bubbles on it.
  12. Connect the flexible hose to the water supply. Open the water and adjust the operating level in the tank.

A bathroom is a room with high humidity and increased requirements for cleanliness. Therefore, it is very often decorated with tiles. Installation on a tiled floor is carried out quickly and without the use of special tools. Let's figure out what methods are used for fastening and how to do everything correctly.

All about installing a toilet on tiled cladding

Preparation for installation

Installation instructions

  1. We are trying on the brackets. To do this, carefully turn the plumbing over and check its compatibility with the fasteners.
  2. We carry out markings. We place the device on the base and trace it along the edge of the sole. We mark the areas where the fastenings should be located.
  3. We drill sockets for anchors. In the place marked on the tile, we use a core to make a notch that will securely hold the drill. Until we reach the concrete, we drill with a tile attachment. Then we put Victory drill, let's move on. The depth is determined by the dimensions of the anchor.
  4. Remove dust and crumbs from the recess. We take the plastic liners and insert them so that the top edge drops below the tile plate.
  5. We put the brackets in place and securely fix them with anchor bolts.
  6. We coat the installation contour on the tile or the edge of the sanitaryware leg with sealant. We put it in place, lightly press it to the floor.
  7. We fix the equipment. We insert the fasteners through the side openings, pass them through the brackets, and tighten them. We check how firmly the device stands. If necessary, tighten it further.
  8. Remove excess silicone and, if necessary, cover the gap between the coating and the leg with it.

Important point. If the brackets are plastic, and this is most often the case, when installed on uneven surface they become deformed over time. will begin to move to the side or wobble. Therefore, even before installation begins, it is necessary to trace the horizontal line and, if necessary, place leveling plates or something similar.

3. Fastening without anchors

The only option for fixing sanitary ware where drilling is impossible. Only equipment with a large volume sole is suitable for this. Pay attention to this when purchasing.

Adhesive options

  • . Choose preparations with acrylic or neoprene components. Last option toxic, but holds plumbing fixtures better. Liquid nails are moisture resistant, durable, resistant to any mechanical stress. They set very quickly, so you can’t hesitate to make adjustments during the process. Future dismantling will be difficult. It is unlikely that it will be possible to remove the plumbing fixtures intact.
  • Silicone. Vinegar-based and neutral preparations are used. In both cases, the seam may not be strong enough, so silicone is not always chosen. The main advantage is quick installation, since the composition does not dry for long. The sealant is heat-resistant and moisture-proof. In the presence of special additives, it obtains antibacterial properties. Dismantling is not difficult.
  • Epoxy compounds. Penetrate into the structure of the materials being glued, ensuring maximum strength of the seam. Universal to use, water resistant, dry relatively quickly. Dismantling is complicated, as a result, most often it is necessary to change not only the plumbing, but also. Available in various options: liquid, powder, paste. It is necessary to prepare the composition for gluing.

Sometimes it is glued to cement. This is an outdated, rather labor-intensive method that does not always give the desired result. Let's look at how to properly install a toilet on a tiled floor using glue.

Installing a toilet

  1. We carry out markings. We place the sanitaryware on the floor, lightly press it on top and trace it with a pencil.
  2. Cooking flooring. For good adhesion to the adhesive, a rough surface is needed. If the tiles are smooth, this can be easily fixed with your own hands. We clean the area of future contact with emery cloth. Wash off the dust and dry the surface. If the glue instructions require it, additionally degrease the base.
  3. Using masking or regular tape, carefully glue the outer edge of the marked outline. This way we will protect the tiles from contamination.
  4. Apply glue to the base of the sole. We place the sanitaryware on the floor, trying to get exactly into the marked outline. If necessary, adjust the position of the device. We press it to the base.
  5. Carefully remove the tape. Use a spatula to remove any excess adhesive.

You cannot use the equipment for at least a day, during which time it will completely harden. The exact information can be found by reading the manufacturer's instructions.

Common Mistakes

Sometimes inexperienced craftsmen make mistakes that spoil all the work done. Let's look at the most common ones.

  • Insufficient leveling of the base. Horizontal tracking using a level is mandatory. Otherwise, leaks and other breakdowns may occur.
  • Poor quality sealing. Leads to leaks unpleasant odor. It is important to use only high-quality components and materials. Perform all operations carefully and according to instructions.
  • Material prepared by: Inna Yasinovskaya
