The tire size is very important when determining the type of gate installation.
With built-in installation, the guide rails cover part of the opening width.

2. Type of installation of rolling gates.

Basically, roller gates (roller gates) are used as entrance gates to the territory, but sometimes they are also installed on the garage.

Surface-mounted installation is the most common and simplest type of installation of roller shutters. The box with the canvas is installed above the opening, the guide rails are on the side of it. The opening should be at the same level and have a smooth surface.

3. Preparing the opening.

If you are installing roller gates on a garage, you first of all need to decide where the gate will be located - inside the garage or outside.

If the ceiling inside the garage is 300 or 400 mm, and there are no pipes or other structures in the places where the gate is attached, then you can safely install the gate inside the garage.

In order to determine the height of the opening in the light, it is necessary to take into account the size of the box (300, 375) and the size of the end profile (approximately 10 cm with sealing rubber), which does not go into the box and also blocks the light opening.

Since the main mechanisms (shaft, drive, entire profile (in the open state)) are located in the box, the main load falls on the side covers, so they must be rigidly fixed. Therefore, when calculating the height of the entrance columns, it is necessary to take into account the finished height of the rolling gates.
