Panel heating radiators Logatrend

    High quality workmanship: In the production of Buderus radiators, roller resistance high-frequency welding is used. Crimping pressure – 13 bar, working pressure – 8.7 bar.

    Energy efficiency: save up to 5% energy thanks to the special integrated Danfoss thermostatic valve (exclusively developed for BOSCH THERMOTECHNIK).

    Hygienic design and safety edges: radiators can be installed in medical and children's institutions. Buderus Logatrend Profil radiators of types 10, 20 and 30 can be used in rooms with increased requirements for cleanliness, since there are no convection plates, which makes it very easy to disinfect the surface of the radiator.

    A wide range allows you to choose the required thermal power radiators corresponding to the coolant temperature, including quite low ones (50–60 °C).

Range

  • length from 400 to 2000 mm
  • height from 300 to 900 mm
  • radiators of types 10, 20, 30 can be installed in rooms with increased requirements for cleanliness, since there are no convection plates, which makes it easy to disinfect the internal surfaces of the radiator

Equipment

  • adapters for mounting brackets - 2 pcs. (for radiators longer than 1.6 m - 3 pcs.)
  • brass plug 1/2" - 1 pc.
  • air release valve 1/2" - 1 pc.
  • Danfoss thermostatic valve - 1 pc. (delivered fully open)

Painting and packaging

  • 4 stages of anti-corrosion treatment - deep degreasing, phosphating, priming, hot powder spraying)
  • Radiator packaging is made from recycled, pure polyethylene

We decided to clearly show how to properly install a heating radiator in a room. To hang a radiator, you need to have the wall at the place where the radiator is attached “to zero”. For finishing(painting or wallpapering behind the radiator) the radiator can be removed, it is important that the radiator mounts remain in place and are not moved. Installation is carried out at a slight inclination to avoid air accumulation.

A clear example of installing a heating radiator

For example, we chose a steel panel radiator from Buderus, Germany. This model has bottom connection and built-in thermostatic valve. The “Buderus” radiator has a very high-quality packaging made of durable plastic; protective corners are placed on the corners of the radiator ( of blue color).

Connecting the pipes

Now you can connect the pipes from the collector to the radiator. But we suggest first installing a certain unit, the so-called “multiflex”, which has locking inserts, fittings for adjusting and draining the coolant, and can swap the direct and return lines (depending on the model).

Also, multiflex can be straight (pipes from the floor) and angular (pipes come from the wall). IN this material A straight multiple flex is shown, but in our work we often install angular options.

Installation of fasteners

The mount is screwed on. Moreover, in standard situations, the fastening is fixed using one self-tapping screw that comes complete with the fastening.

It is worth noting that for Buderus radiators there are several models of mounts, which are ordered separately depending on the selected radiator model and the type of surface on which it is intended to be installed.

Some models of Buderus radiators have a special feature: they are double-sided. That is, they can be hung multiflex to the right, or to the left. All you have to do is remove the top cover and flip the “tongues” to the opposite side.

Buderus Logatrend VK-profil, radiators with bottom connection

Buderus VK-profil radiators, connected to the heating system from below, have a built-in thermal valve, which is included in the delivery package.

Radiators with bottom connection Logatrend VK-profil are divided into five main types according to depth (the distance between the front and back wall radiator): type 10 (depth - 65 mm), type 11 (depth - 65 mm), type 21 (66 mm), type 22 (100 mm), type 33 (depth - 155 mm).

For each of these types, the height of the device can be 300 mm, 400, 500, 600 and 900 mm. Lengths - 400 mm, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000 mm, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2300, 2600 and 3000 mm.

As a standard, radiators are supplied painted White color(RAL 9016).

All types of Logatrend radiators with bottom connection do not have welded mounting brackets, so they can be mounted on either side. In this case, the lower connection node will be either on the right or on the left. The radiator has a built-in thermal valve, a sealed plug and a built-in air outlet plug (Maevsky valve). The lower connection unit has a center-to-center distance of 50 mm. The supply line is connected to the pipe located closer to the center of the device, the return line to the outer pipe. The built-in thermal valve is located at the top on the same side where the bottom connection to the heating occurs.

Logatrend VK-profil radiators can be mounted on the wall or floor using special mounting brackets. The mounting kit is not included in the price of the Logatrend radiator and must be purchased separately.

The radiators are packaged in shrink film and have protective corners to prevent damage during transportation, storage or installation. To prevent contamination of the radiator during construction and finishing work, you can leave the film on the operating radiator, but as long as the temperature in the heating system does not exceed 60°C.

    To ensure that your home is always warm and comfortable, you should take care correct installation heating systems. And the most important step is to choose suitable radiator. On modern market There is a wide range of similar designs available. Let's look at the features of radiators from the German company Buderus Logatrend.

    Design features

    Buderus radiators are used in one- and two-pipe heating systems with forced circulation. Depending on the type of connection, they can be side or bottom with a built-in thermal valve.

    Let's look at each model in more detail.

    • Lateral (K-profile). The design of this type of radiator implies the presence of 4 holes on the sides with internal thread 1/2. In this case, the distance between the axes is the height of the radiator minus 50 mm.
    • Lower (VK-profile). There are 2 holes with external thread 3/4. The distance between the axles is 50 mm.

    The design of radiators of this brand is based on steel panels, in which special openings are provided, formed by horizontal connecting channels and vertical collectors. While creating of this equipment Roller welding is used, resulting in panels connected by solid panels. This guarantees high reliability of the radiator (most other companies use spot welding). And to increase heat transfer, convection rows are installed between the panels.

    All factory radiators are painted white, but upon customer request, equipment can be manufactured in any shade that is presented in the company’s catalog.

    Before painting, apply a primer to the surface, and then paintwork, which are processed using the hot drying method. The result is high-quality coating, which are resistant to mechanical damage, scratches and chips. It is also suitable for rooms with high humidity.

    Each German brand radiator model is equipped with a removable decorative perforated panel. Thereby inner panel convenient to clean. Also, some models do not have convection plates in their design; instead, they are equipped with removable grilles. This design is easy to disinfect, which means the equipment can be used in rooms with increased cleanliness requirements, for example, in medical offices.

    Types and technical characteristics

    The parameters of Buderus heating radiators differ depending on their types. Let's look at the main ones.

    Type 10

    The design of this type of device does not imply the presence of a convector, side walls and grilles for air passage.

    Has the following characteristics:

    • height – from 300 to 900 mm;
    • length – 245–845 mm;

    Type 22

    This type is also a double-row appliance with 2 convectors between the panels, side walls and air grille. Its weight ranges from 17.2 to 51 kg, and the coolant volume ranges from 3.4 to 8.2 l/m. More detailed characteristics of the devices can be found in the table, which is in the technical data sheet of the product.

    Type 33

    Unlike the others, this radiator is three-row with 3 convectors between the panels and the side walls. Its weight is: 25.6; 33.4; 39.8; 50.5; 75.9 kg, and the coolant volume is 5.1; 6.4; 7.8; 9.3; 12.3 l/m.

    Popular models

    Radiators of the German brand Buderus are divided into 2 most popular models, judging by customer reviews: Logatrend K-Profil and VK-Profil. They differ in power and size. But both radiators are characterized by high heat transfer rates along with minimal thermal conductivity inertia. This property makes it possible to quickly regulate the temperature of the space using different methods: by adjusting the temperature of the boiler supply line, as well as using manual and automatic thermostats installed on batteries.

    Model types differ in depth, number and size of convection rows, water-conducting panels, height, and thermal power. The possible operating pressure that can be in convectors should not exceed 10–13 bar. The temperature of the heating element should be from 5 to 120 degrees, and the optimal pH amount is 9–10.5.

    Installation Rules

    Before you begin installing the device, you need to find a appropriate place. The distance between the wall and the convector depends on the design of the brackets.

    Installation of floor and wall radiators is carried out only after finishing work has been carried out in the house.

    The easiest way to connect equipment includes the following steps:

    • creating holes for brackets;
    • fastening the brackets using screws and dowels;
    • removing the packaging at the junction of the device and the heat pipe;
    • height adjustment of brackets;
    • installation of radiators on the lower shelves of the brackets and fixation in the upper ones;
    • connecting the convector to the heat pipeline;
    • installation of an air vent.

    Heating devices After production, Buderus Logatrend is packaged in protective shrink film with special corners. This is necessary in order to prevent damage to the equipment during transportation, storage and installation. It is recommended to remove this film only after installing the panel heating system will be completely completed. This will prevent contamination of the radiator surface.
