Knitting and knitting production. Knitted items and products wholesale to order

The main direction of our work is the contract production of knitwear (production of knitted products to order under the customer’s trademark) in a regular way using technology (knitting product parts along the contour, without undercutting).

Possibility of receiving knitting machines ah product parts of a given shape is a very important advantage of modern knitting production, as it allows you to obtain products High Quality V industrial scale. The absence of waste during cutting significantly reduces the consumption of raw materials for each product, which helps reduce its cost.

KNITTING PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

Making garments involves cutting fabric according to patterns and then sewing it. In knitting production, the choice of manufacturing methods is wider.

There are four ways to obtain a knitted product of a given shape: cut, regular, semi-regular and whole knitted. In the first case, the knitted fabric is cut according to patterns in the same way as fabric, taking into account the direction of the loop columns, the location of the pattern, etc. This method is mainly used for the production thin products(T-shirts). With the regular method, the parts are knitted along the contour similar to hand knitting. The semi-regular method is something between cut and semi-regular: simplest coupons are knitted geometric shapes followed by trimming, this method is mainly used in the production of cheap mass products and workwear. Most knitting factories in Russia, Turkey and China produce knitwear using the semi-regular method. The whole-knitted method allows you to knit a completely finished product on a knitting machine, which minimizes manual labor in production, but has a very high cost product development and great limitations on the weaves and shapes used. Each method has its own characteristics and, therefore, each corresponds to certain sewing processing methods.

It should be noted that each of the technologies used requires different equipment for knitting production, for example, for the semi-regular method, cutting equipment is required; machines for the regular method must be equipped with a comb and a thread trimming system; for seamless knitted products, special wide machines are used, equipped with needles with an increased head size for knitting through a needle. In addition, production using Fully Fashion technology requires highly qualified programmers-designers and a fashion designer.

7. FINANCIAL PLAN

Investment costs for opening an enterprise will amount to 1.4 million rubles. The main amount of funds will be used for the purchase of equipment (798.1 thousand rubles), the purchase of raw materials (308 thousand rubles) and the formation of a fund working capital(200 thousand rubles). The structure of start-up costs is shown in Table. 2 business plans.

Variable costs include expenses for the purchase of raw materials and transportation costs. Variable costs are presented in detail in Table. 7 of this business plan. Fixed expenses include rent, accounting, depreciation, and website hosting (see Table 8). Depreciation of fixed assets is calculated using the straight-line method over a service life of 10 years.

Knitted clothing items are still relevant. After all, you can’t imagine winter without warm hats and soft sweaters. That is why many novice businessmen are interested in questions about how profitable the production of knitted products is. In fact, such an enterprise can really bring in good income, but only with the right approach.

How profitable can the production of knitted products be?

Probably every person has at least one knitted item in their wardrobe, not to mention various decorative elements and interior items. That is why the production of knitted products can become a truly profitable business.

But if you are going to open a small store, shop or studio, it is worth understanding some of the nuances on which further work will depend.

Of course, first you should decide whether you will sell hand-knitted items or purchase special equipment. Both of these options have some advantages and disadvantages.

If you're a jack of all trades and can knit anything, you've probably thought about selling your creations. There are advantages here - you don’t need bulky and expensive equipment, as well as a large room, since you can knit even at home. On the other hand, the process will be slow, which will affect income.

Special knitting machines and other equipment, of course, will cost a tidy sum. But with their help you can make things much faster. Many people started out by hand knitting, but as demand for their products increased, they switched to machine-made items. In any case, the right knitting business plan depends on how exactly you intend to create the product.

Required package of official documents

Fortunately, to open your own store you will not need many official papers and permits. First of all, it is worth registering with the tax service - preferably as an individual entrepreneur, as this guarantees simpler bookkeeping.

If in the foreseeable future you are going to cooperate with large companies, expand your business by opening new points, or attract partners, then it is better to create a limited liability company - this scheme also has a number of advantages.

Depending on what equipment and materials will be used and where your shop is located, you may need a permit from the fire and safety departments. For the production of children's clothing, some additional certificates are required.

What is profitable to knit for sale?

Naturally, your product range will largely determine the success of your business. Therefore, first you need to decide what kind of products you decide to produce.

After all, the production of knitted products can become profitable only with the right approach.

You can produce knitted outerwear, such as jackets, coats, etc. Sweaters, pullovers, and knitted dresses are very popular among fashionistas.

And, of course, do not forget about the necessary wardrobe items in winter time- there is hardly at least one person who can do without a hat, scarf, mittens, warm socks, etc. in cold weather.

When compiling an assortment, pay attention to the fact that each product requires a certain decor, since not only the quality of the product is important for buyers, but also appearance. After all, for example, scarves today are not only a piece of clothing, but also fashion accessory, so follow new fashion trends, but don’t forget about the good old classics.

It is believed that the sale of knitted products is seasonal business, because in summer time people don't need warm clothes. In order to protect your enterprise from downtime, consider making clothes from fine yarn and threads. For example, knitted lightweight T-shirts and elegant openwork dresses will certainly be no less successful than hats and sweaters.

In addition, you can create unique accessories, such as knitted handbags, headbands, cases for mobile phones etc. Interior items, such as curtains, bedspreads, tablecloths, decorative pillowcases, etc., are also popular.

Renting premises and creating a studio

IN in this case The choice of premises depends on how large your production will be and how much equipment you intend to purchase. You can rent a room in the city center or in a large residential area - in any case, your good reputation and a skillfully conducted advertising campaign will create a stable flow of clients.

You can separately open a store selling goods or sell them right here, in your own studio. In this case, it is advisable to set aside a separate room for the store and fitting - here create a cozy and friendly atmosphere for future clients.

For example, decorate the walls of the room with photographs of models in knitted clothes, place several mannequins with finished products, create a small fitting room with a mirror. If you are going to make goods to order, then, of course, this is where you will discuss the features of their models with clients, take measurements, and try them on.

What equipment will you need?

If you are going to knit things by hand, then you do not need special equipment - knitting needles and an overlocker will be quite enough. If you are going to open a large production, you will need knitting machines - when purchasing, remember that each such machine is designed to work with one or another type of yarn.

Some experts also recommend purchasing buttonhole and lockstitch machines, and a machine for chain stitches - this will make the work much easier. In addition, you will need comfortable work surfaces, so buy tables for steaming, cutting, etc. Don't forget about shelving, bedside tables, cabinets and other pieces of furniture that are designed for storage Supplies and finished products.

The main amount of funds will be used for the purchase of equipment (798.1 thousand rubles), the purchase of raw materials (308 thousand rubles) and the formation of a working capital fund (200 thousand rubles). The structure of start-up costs is shown in Table. 2 business plans.

Woolen and knitted items are present in most people's wardrobes and always remain in fashion. This means that the idea of producing knitted products will be profitable, if, of course, its implementation is approached competently.

Naturally, we're talking about O industrial production knitted products, only in this case can you count on profit and further development your enterprise. Here is a rough list of clothing items that are produced in this way:

  • hosiery (socks, stockings, tights);
  • outerwear(vests, jackets, sweaters, jumpers, suits, dressing gowns);
  • underwear;
  • hats.

You can add household goods to the assortment list, namely curtains, curtains, tablecloths, bedspreads, potholders, capes, etc.

Required equipment

To organize the production of knitted products you will need:

  • knitting machines (the number of units depends on production volumes);
  • loop machine (needed to create loops on a product, there are automatic and semi-automatic, including equipped computer programs);
  • lockstitch machine (for joining parts of one product);
  • chain stitch machine (for connecting parts);
  • overlocker (necessary for finishing edges, can be used to join parts, for example, sewing on collars).

In addition, for steaming finished product you will need a steam table (in extreme cases an iron), and for processing and joining individual parts- cutting table.

Cars are divided into classes. The smaller the class, the thicker the threads are used - such equipment is suitable for creating winter items (scarves, hats, sweaters). On class 5 machines you can knit products from any type of yarn, so they are a higher priority for universal production.

Business processes

Basic steps to organize a business:

  1. development model range products that you will subsequently manufacture and sell;
  2. compiling a list of required equipment (you may have to slightly expand/reduce the list proposed above - it all depends on the range of products);
  3. mastering a knitting machine in parallel with the search for personnel (if the production is small, then at the beginning of the journey an entrepreneur can take on some of the functions);
  4. search for yarn suppliers;
  5. development of product sales channels (negotiations with wholesalers, renting a place on the market, opening a company store).

The main thing in this matter is not just to establish the production of knitted products, but also to sell the products. Your clients can be both end buyers, if, for example, products are sold through a store, and intermediaries (wholesale companies). If you are going to specialize in the production of specific types of products, for example, scarves and hats, seasonality jumps are expected.

Each workshop employee must be assigned a machine that will be under his control. In this case, you will be able to use your equipment as efficiently as possible, avoiding downtime.

The raw materials used are threads of different thicknesses, as well as decorative elements and fasteners (buttons, zippers, loops).

Staff

Specialists needed for production: knitting machine operators, seamstresses, cutters, technologist, fashion designer, programmer, setup mechanic. People of the last 4 professions can be hired on a part-time basis; their constant presence and daily participation in processes is not necessary.

Brief rationale

You can start a business with 2-3 knitting machines; the cost of starting a business will be 250-300 thousand rubles. (Purchase of equipment - 150-200 thousand rubles, purchase of raw materials - 50 thousand rubles.) With this option, there is no need to hire staff, all the work can be done by the business owner. The return on investment in organizing production is 12 months.

If you plan to create a more serious production (it is recommended to purchase at least 50 units of knitting machines), then an investment of 8-10 million rubles will be required. The number of personnel is 12 people. The area of the workshop is 350-400 sq. meters. Return on investment 2-3 years.
