Drawing of a summer kitchen with barbecue. Projects of gazebos with barbecue

Good day everyone!

In this article we will talk about interesting design projects barbecue pavilions. Some summer residents simply put up a small gazebo on their site for relaxation, while others, in order to make not only their vacation more comfortable, but also invite friends, install stoves with barbecues and barbecues in the gazebos.

Before you start building a gazebo with a barbecue and barbecue, you decide what your gazebo will be like.

The first is a small structure with a small brazier, a table and chairs.

Second, is it a closed gazebo for year-round use, or an open one summer option with a stove.

Third, this is a fairly capital building, which is divided into two zones: kitchen and dining room.

Having decided on your choice of option, you next need to draw up a project plan and select the material from which your gazebo will be built.

It is best to make a barbecue gazebo from brick. This way it will be more durable. If you decide to use brick, then perhaps these tips will help you.

— to avoid soot and smoke, it is necessary to create a smoke exhaust zone;

— the grill must be protected with a roof; if we don’t install one, then we cover it acrylic varnish;

— if the barbecue is used for mass cooking, then you will need an ash pit, it will create a more intense burning of wood;

— the firebox should be the width of the skewers;

- the masonry must be in a refractory mixture and fireclay clay or special compositions that can withstand high temperatures;

- the brick should be soaked for five minutes before cutting - this will simplify the task.

Projects for a gazebo with a barbecue grill and a stove (to do it yourself)

A wooden gazebo is, of course, the most cost-effective option in terms of material cost and labor intensity. In addition, if you are not a mason, then a wooden gazebo is the best option for your dacha.

Another option is brick. In respect of fire safety it is much more profitable than a wooden structure, and will last much longer.

However, you can also use this option when the stove is located in the brick part of the gazebo, and the rest of the structure is wooden.

Another option for a gazebo, less common, is a wrought iron gazebo.

Such gazebos are mainly purchased in stores.

Erect brick gazebo with a barbecue and barbecue it is not difficult, especially if you have bricklaying skills. However, if you have good mason friends, then perhaps they will help you build the required structure Location on.

As usual, first a foundation is made, on which a layer of waterproofing is applied, and then the walls are installed. It is best to start laying bricks from the entrance opening, and then move along the perimeter.

We build the walls of the gazebo according to your project (type and height). At the same time we make a base for the grill and smokehouse.

When the walls are built up required height, we make a rafter system

We will equip a tabletop, space for a cauldron, and a barbecue. As a result, we should get the following.

Well, at the very end, we sew up the roof with the material that you chose for this purpose.

Below is a plan of a closed gazebo with barbecue and barbecue.

Photos of simple and beautiful gazebos for a summer residence

No matter what they say, a gazebo installed on a site must fit into the overall landscape, especially since you are not just putting up four pillars with a roof, but making your structure an art of design.

Let's look at examples of some quite interesting and original gazebo designs.

Quite interesting and original project, combined from wood, stone and polycarbonate.

Forged metal gazebos look no less original and beautiful.

An interesting version of a gazebo in which the grill is made of stone.

A few more options are enough simple gazebos for the dacha. All of them are made mainly from wood.

Cooking food in a gazebo with a barbecue is much more convenient and enjoyable. An open fire and the opportunity to relax with friends in any weather allows you to relax as much as possible. Kebabs cooked in such an environment become even tastier. To build a structure, it is worth considering different designs of gazebos with barbecues.

Drawing of a brick grill

You can make a barbecue with your own hands quite quickly. To do this you will need a brick and several hours of free time. You don't need to have any special skills. Before starting work, it is better to draw up an accurate drawing. You will also need to get iron sheets and rods for the barbecue. Deciding on the size is one of the most important tasks at this stage.

Brickwork is erected in the shape of the letter P. It must be raised to 75 cm, and then rods and sheets must be laid. After this, the masonry must be raised again. After this, the ledges for the grating are placed in it.

Advice! It’s better to do a hood right away. This will remove smoke from the gazebo area.

Important Features

Today, a gazebo in which a barbecue is equipped is usually equipped with other devices - a grill, barbecue, smokehouse. To ensure that the room is not occupied by unnecessary structures, it is worth considering what will be used most often. If you choose only the essentials, the gazebo will become more comfortable and functional.

The cooking area will go perfectly with the grill. A sink and a table are perfect for the barbecue. Thanks to such changes, the gazebo will become a summer kitchen where you can prepare delicious and delicious dishes. A countertop that can be easily cleaned should be provided. It is also worth taking care of the shelf for kitchen utensils. Photos of gazebo projects with barbecues allow you to learn fresh ideas for future construction on your site.

Use space correctly

Design - important stage the buildings. Traditionally, benches and a table are installed in the gazebo. However, such a decision is not always justified by the capabilities of the allocated space. If you want to save space, you can make the benches sliding. In this case, they can be easily removed under the table. Then there will be much more space for cooking.

Purity

In order for each structural element to serve for a long time, it is better to prepare the gazebo for different conditions operation. For this it is worth processing wooden parts antiseptic, and metal ones - with anti-corrosion agents. This will increase the materials' resistance to rotting and rusting. The stone also needs processing. It is worth remembering that all structural elements that will become dirty during the cooking process must be easy to clean.

Don't forget about the cook

In order for the chef to be the center of attention of the guests, it is better to equip the seating and food preparation area in such a way that they smoothly complement each other. At the same time, vacationers must be isolated from the hot zone. At the same time, the cook must be given complete freedom of action so that he can be the center of attention. The best option- bar counter. This way, guests will be able to watch the cooking process, and the chef will always be able to complement the cheerful company.

Keep the gazebo warm

To keep the gazebo warm even in cool weather, you can use special PVC curtains. You can also do them yourself. They will serve excellent protection from wind and rain. The curtain is made from PVC film. You need to make eyelets in it and pass the rope through.

You can also use other heat sources to equip the gazebo. For this purpose they are used infrared lamps. They should be placed near those areas of the gazebo where people are most often located. The most profitable option is a dining area or cooking area. You can also create a winter gazebo.

Canopy over barbecue

When placing a barbecue next to a gazebo, it is better to cover it from the weather with a canopy. Then the coals will not go out quickly in the rain. A canopy over the grill will allow you to always cook delicious meat without thinking about the location of the grill. You can also think about building a pergola.

Add an open hearth

If you equip next to the gazebo open hearth, you can cook many different dishes in it. This solution allows you to get additional hob. The grill will serve as a place for cooking meat, and the hearth will serve as a surface for cooking other dishes. This can save significant time. An excellent solution is the construction of a gazebo with a barbecue.

Add a rest area

A paved area should be installed next to the gazebo. You can also build an additional canopy that will shield guests from the sun. If the building is located in a cool climate zone, you can equip a separate room in which guests will be protected from the cold.

Construction of a firewood shed

When making a gazebo, it is worth equipping comfortable spot for firewood It is made in such a way that firewood can not only be protected from bad weather, but also conveniently obtained at any time. This will allow you to cook delicious meals without having to stop going to the end of the garden for a new batch of fuel.

Equip the entrance to the cellar

If you make a convenient entrance to the cellar from the gazebo, you can get rid of the need to install a refrigerator. Also, such a solution will be an excellent way to decorate a lonely mound of the entrance to the cellar. Making such a gazebo with a barbecue with your own hands is quite simple.

Special lighting

If the general lighting of the area is in harmony with the lighting of the recreation area, the practicality and functionality of the gazebo will increase. The cooking area will be brightly lit, while the dining area will have moderate lighting. This will create a special mood.

Security measures

To ensure maximum safety, it is important to ground everything electrical devices, which are located in the gazebo. It is better to protect the wiring with a cable for outdoor work. Wooden structures should be treated with a fire-fighting solution.

Place the gazebo further away

Usually a gazebo is placed near the house. This allows you to quickly reach it without getting your feet wet, even during heavy rain. However, setting up a gazebo in a distant corner also has its advantages. garden plot. Here you can cook food and “hide” from the everyday hustle and bustle. Also in this corner you can enjoy a luxurious view of the garden.

Decorate the gazebo

To decorate the gazebo you will need to create original decor. It is necessary to hang decorations on the wall, close the windows with curtains, place kitchen utensils on the table. Installing furniture and flowers will also help. With this finishing, the gazebo will be for guests and owners of the site cozy place recreation. Also, to highlight the gazebo, you should use various elements landscape design. The architecture of the gazebo should become important element design.

There are some interesting additions you can create next to the building. This will emphasize the owner’s individuality, and also show his sense of style and good taste.

Designs for gazebos with barbecues are very diverse. Such buildings can be represented by a rectangle, a hexagonal structure, or a square. The main thing is that the building is as functional as possible.

A gazebo with a barbecue has gained great popularity among summer residents. In this design you can gather at the table in any weather. It's not as troublesome as organizing a feast at home.

DIY wooden gazebo

It is worth considering in more detail an example in which summerhouse executed from various lumber. In this case, the grill can be built from brick. If you have 6-meter boards and timber, you can build a wooden gazebo with a barbecue with virtually no waste.

On initial stage When building a gazebo, you need to choose the right place for construction. It is also necessary to decide on the configuration of the building. There are a few things to consider:

  • It is better that the entrance to the house is directed opposite the entrance to the gazebo. This will make it more convenient to set the table.
  • Compliance with fire safety rules. A barbecue with an open fire will be placed in the gazebo, which requires compliance with certain precautions.

Once the location for the construction of the gazebo has been determined, using construction sand outline the outline of the base of the building. Drawings of the structure should reflect its dimensions and materials. When making a hexagonal or octagonal gazebo, it is worth drawing a circle using a pipe that is fixed in the center and a rope tied to it.

For the construction of transverse beams, it is worth using 50x100 mm boards. To make the structure more reliable, the harness is fastened with metal corners.

Important! Between the base posts and the frame it is worth making a waterproofing layer of roofing felt.

After completing the bottom trim, you need to install the frame supports, and then the top trim. Also at this stage the floor is sewn up. Subsequently, a place for a barbecue will be cut out in it. Upper harness constructed from below and then raised to the top.

After constructing the frame, install the roof and begin building the barbecue. Brickwork is being built U-shaped. During the process of laying bricks, special corners for the grating and reinforcing bars are placed in the device.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are many interesting and unusual projects pavilions for a summer residence with a barbecue made of brick. They are easy to construct and have a fairly long service life. It is important to consider safety measures and decide on construction materials.

The presence of a comfortable gazebo with barbecue, barbecue and stove on a country plot allows you to diversify your holiday on fresh air and get the most out of this pastime.

Inside it can accommodate several people at once; here you can equip a seating area with benches or sofas, as well as put a table to gather with friends and family members.

If you equip a gazebo taking into account the weather conditions in a certain season, you can protect yourself from wind, rain and other sources of discomfort - and spend at least the whole day outside the house, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Let's find out more about what ideas can be implemented when constructing or installing ready-made gazebos of this type.

Main types of gazebos

When planning the design features of your gazebo, it is important to consider when and how long you plan to be inside.

Depending on the arrangement and protective functions of the gazebos, such buildings can be divided into three main types:

Winter gazebo with barbecue, photo

Modern gazebos of each type come in a variety of shapes. You can choose simple designs or choose non-standard options that will only decorate your site.

The simplest type - rectangular gazebos with barbecues - are convenient because you can place both a cooking area and a relaxation area inside. In addition, due to the simplicity of the form, you can place such a structure along smooth roads or building sites.

The square shape of the gazebo is also popular, but it does not accommodate many people and is not always convenient if you plan to use the gazebo for several purposes at once.

If you want to emphasize the elegance of the design suburban area, choose a round gazebo with a barbecue. A table of a similar shape installed in the center will look harmonious inside.

Attention! As a rule, round gazebos are small rotundas with domed roofs and floral decorations. They are suitable for areas with arches, classical-style window vaults and other flowing elements.

Polygonal shapes are popular due to large space inside. Hexagonal and octagonal gazebos with barbecues are the most common version of such structures. As a rule, these are open or semi-open covered gazebos: Complete finishing of all walls requires large time and material costs.

Corner gazebos with barbecue – good option for owners of plots with free space in the corner. You can also choose gazebo shapes that combine several elements of geometry, but be sure to take into account the harmony of such buildings on your summer cottage.

Dimensions of gazebos for summer cottages

One of important nuances What should be taken into account when choosing a gazebo is its parameters. Moreover, the larger the structure itself for cooking, the more free space will be required for relaxation, so you should not choose small sizes gazebos with barbecue in order to save money.

Advice: if there is enough space inside, you can install it in the seating area decorative fountains, Greek statues, large vases or even a swing.

It is believed that you can feel comfortable in at least two free square meters. Based on the estimated number of guests, calculate the area of the gazebo for arrangement. The optimal height of such a structure is two meters.

If you have enough free space, choose a gazebo larger than 3 by 3 meters so that the barbecue or other elements of the internal equipment do not create discomfort.

By the way, when choosing a gazebo, you should also consider how proportional it is to other structures on your site. For this reason, a large gazebo with a barbecue will not look harmonious in small garden: a small rotunda or an openwork forged structure would be more appropriate here.

Well, if you are lucky - and there is enough free space on the site, feel free to install a spacious gazebo with a barbecue and a kitchen - and enjoy a good rest.

Types of gazebos by type of materials used

Before choosing a material for gazebos, you should consider several factors: their durability and your expectations from the protective functions of the coatings used, decorative properties and, of course, the price, which can vary significantly depending on the quality. Since food will be cooked inside these gazebos, we advise you to choose materials that will withstand exposure to fire and steam.

It is also important that they are durable, withstand moisture and temperature changes, and are easy to install.

A wooden gazebo with a barbecue would be a good choice. It is popular due to its durability, strength, and decorative diversity. Wood can be processed for fire protection, as well as to prevent the appearance of pests.

Form wooden elements can be very diverse: today gazebos with barbecues made of timber, sections of wood, boards, etc. are in fashion.

Wooden gazebos with barbecue, photo

Warm gazebos with barbecues, made of stone or brick, also have excellent practical properties. If there is enough free space inside, you can make a reliable brick grill in the gazebo.

In addition to strength and long service life, the advantages of such materials include fire resistance and protection from cold. But such a design will not be cheap.

Brick gazebo with barbecue, photo

For warm seasons, gazebos with metal barbecues are suitable. IN Lately There is a growing demand for wrought iron gazebos with barbecues, which will add elegance to your site. Such structures can be made with a roof or a canopy: covered gazebos with barbecues will allow you to gather in the fresh air even in bad weather.

Attention: metal grill in the gazebo can be located separately or be attached to the gazebo itself and have a permanent location.

Gazebo with metal barbecue, photo

For combined gazebos, several are used at once different materials. It could be metal carcass, brick finishing, wooden decor, interior design clapboard, wooden or tiled roof. You can purchase a universal polycarbonate gazebo with a barbecue: such structures have a translucent roof.

By the way, it is not necessary to use the same materials throughout the entire gazebo. You can emphasize its zoning by choosing different external or interior decoration for each of the zones.

Another reliable material is polystyrene foam or other gazebos made from blocks with a barbecue. Such buildings will be strong and reliable and will allow you to relax inside even with the onset of cold weather.

The current trend is the use of glass to decorate residential and other buildings on the site. Glazed gazebos with a barbecue, barbecue and stove can be panoramic (large pieces of glass are inserted into the frame - this is the so-called frameless glazing), and also have wide windows and finishing from other materials.

By the way, a good option is to use sliding glass sections: in this case, you can expand the recreation area by simply sliding open such a door and enjoy the beauty of your site and fresh air.

Furnace variations for internal equipment

In the gazebo you can install many interesting structures for cooking. And it is not at all necessary that it be only a barbecue. Many people choose multifunctional devices for gazebos, such as barbecue complexes with a smokehouse, devices for pilaf and other dishes. This way you will be sure that each of your guests will be able to get enough of the dish they like.

Gazebos with barbecue grill and stove, photo

The most common option is a separate grill or a grill built into the gazebo. It is intended for preparing kebabs, as well as dishes from vegetables and fish products on skewers.

If you wish, you can do brick finishing barbecue to make it more convenient to use.

Gazebo with brick grill, photo

Attention: If you are interested in spending time with loved ones in a comfortable seating area even in cool times, choose gazebos with a fireplace and barbecue, which will allow you not only to eat, but also to warm up.

Gazebos with fireplace and barbecue, photo

When decorating a classic Russian gazebo, many prefer to build a large stove, typical of past times. But you can limit yourself to a Russian-style mini-oven. You can also choose a multifunctional grill stove with a chimney for the gazebo.

If you prefer meat cooked on a grill instead of skewers, choose gazebos with barbecue grills. Quite often the barbecue is mounted on the wall, but you can place it separately.

Another trend associated with barbecues is the installation of such a device in the center of the gazebo. This layout allows each of your guests to easily approach the cooking area and participate in the creation of culinary masterpieces. It will be better if you place the hood directly above the barbecue in the central part of the roof.

The next popular option is the grill. Unlike the devices described above, a grill involves cooking food with the simultaneous supply of heat to the product from both above and below. That's why the grill has a special lid. Often it is mobile and can easily be moved to other areas of the gazebo to free up space. Thanks to the variety of its forms, you can think through interior design such a gazebo down to the smallest detail.

And pilaf lovers can please themselves with a stove with a barbecue and a cauldron for the gazebo. The cauldron has a hole round shape and a special section for fuel and firewood. This stove is very convenient in cold seasons. Since to ensure maximum comfort it is important to take into account some of the subtleties of its installation, it is better to turn to specialists and order a ready-made stove instead of building it yourself.

Experimenters will certainly like the option of a gazebo with a tandoor and barbecue. These devices are less common, so most likely you will have to make them to order. The tandoor is a spherical or jug roasting pan and allows you to cook delicious dishes from Asian cuisine.

We decorate gazebos with barbecues in the country

We completely forgot that a gazebo with a barbecue should also look aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, it’s time to find out exactly how specialists decorate it, and what approaches will make this design even more sophisticated or modern.

The design of a gazebo with barbecue and barbecue begins with the choice of materials themselves. It is important to take into account their texture, color, the possibility of transforming the shape, creating relief patterns on the surface, and using additional finishing materials. When planning these subtleties, be sure to build on the style of other buildings on the suburban area.

The greatest variety of styles are represented by gazebos made of wood. Depending on the size and shape of the wooden elements used, you can emphasize different design styles:

Metal gazebos can reflect the beauty of both classic and modern style. In the first case, choose iron gazebos with barbecues, decorated with forged elements. The use of artificially aged parts is allowed. IN modern gazebo use simple metal parts.

A brick gazebo must be in harmony with the main building on the site. Such structures can be decorated with additional finishing from decorative stone, siding, tiles, wallpaper, wood panels, glass or metal. It all depends on your imagination.

Another important component of the decor is lighting elements. It is allowed to use in the gazebo different lamps. For example, outside you can decorate with hanging lanterns, the walls themselves with garlands, and hang chandeliers and sconces inside.

Don't forget about green decorations for gazebos. It can be climbing plants, bright flowers, plantings in flower beds and vases.

To create an elegant design, use light, or even better, translucent fabrics that will turn into sail curtains. You can decorate the inside of the gazebo decorative pillows, special covers for chairs or benches, embroidered to match the main style. It will be better if you choose textiles that repel moisture and wash well from dirt.

Making your time on the property enjoyable is not so difficult today. Probably everyone has seen a photo of a gazebo with a barbecue on the Internet. Do you want to have the same building at your dacha? Then read our article.

In fact, making a comfortable gazebo with a barbecue is not at all difficult. The most important thing is to comply with all required technologies during the construction process. How to do this correctly? Let's figure this out together.

Which barbecue gazebo project should you choose?

Gazebos with barbecues, the designs of which can be very different, must be, firstly, comfortable, and secondly, safe and. Photo gallery of such country houses:

When choosing options for such structures and drawing up drawings, these three factors need to be given maximum attention.

What should be the size of the structure?

Where to put the gazebo

When choosing a location, barbecue or fireplace you need to consider only one important factor: Smoke from the chimney pipe should not enter the house.

Advice: If the building will be closed and winter, locate it closer to the house. This makes it easier to communicate with her. Open summer structures are often erected in the depths of the yard.

BBQ Projects

Barbecues in the gazebo can be installed in both portable small and stationary brick ones. They differ from a barbecue in that the kebabs are fried not on skewers, but on a grate. A portable barbecue is placed in an already finished building - in the center or against the wall. In this case, the floor is covered with tin, and an exhaust hood is installed above the structure itself. Large brick barbecues are being erected at the same time as the gazebo.

How to draw a gazebo drawing

Of course, the design of this structure must include all the necessary drawings:

  • Profile and frontal projections with dimensions.
  • Plan.

Construction technology

Construction of the foundation

The easiest way to build a log gazebo is under it. It is poured with your own hands as follows:

  • Marking in progress.
  • Holes are dug for the posts.

Photo of the process of erecting a columnar foundation

  • Sand is poured onto their bottom.
  • Formwork and reinforcement are installed.
  • Everything is filled with concrete.

Photo of a finished poured foundation column in roofing felt formwork

Important: The foundation for a log structure must be of different heights. This is due to the peculiarities of laying the lower crown.

Construction of a barbecue in a gazebo

Next, we begin assembling the barbecue. Under heavy brick structure the foundation will need to be installed. It is best to make a slab. It is being erected in the usual manner. On final stage it is waterproofed and masonry begins according to the order. Having laid out the firewood, a 50*50mm corner is installed around the perimeter, which will serve as a support for the bricks of the bottom of the firebox.

How to make a barbecue. Photos of the construction process

On a note: Optimal height The furnace trough is considered to be one brick placed on the long end. The most convenient height of the firebox window is 60cm.

A brick chimney is also placed on a corner. Usually it is a truncated cone with a pipe, the diameter of which should not be less than 25 cm.

Sometimes a chimney welded from 2mm steel is also welded onto the barbecue firebox through a corner. Optimal angle the opening of its cone is considered to be 60g. The diameter of the pipe is at least 12 cm, and its length is at least two meters. Compliance with these parameters will ensure good traction.

Below you can watch a video on how to assemble a brick barbecue yourself.

Installation of the lower crown

They continue to build a gazebo with a barbecue using their own hands. decorative crown railing For it you need to take the smoothest and largest logs. They are trimmed from below in such a way as to create a flat area.

Installation of the crown molding

In the corners of the log house, logs are fastened in two ways - “in the bowl” and “in the paw”.

On a note: In the first case, the results are more original garden gazebos V old style with the ends of the logs protruding from the corners.

When using the “in a bowl” method, semicircular “bowls” up to half the thickness are selected in the logs of the lower crown, into which the logs of the upper crown are placed.

Method of assembling gazebo railings using the “in the middle” method

When joining using the “paw” method, rectangular cuttings are made at the ends of the logs. Typically, templates are used to select them.

Method of assembling a log house using the dovetail method

When building a gazebo from a log, the crowns are usually laid out at the height of the parapet. Next, assembly continues only in the corners, using short pieces of logs.

Assembling the rafter system

Construction continues with construction rafter system. It is assembled in the same way as the roof frame of a regular house. That is, the floor beams are installed first. Then racks are placed on them in the middle, which are connected by a purlin. The rafter legs are knocked down in pairs. Next, they are lifted onto the roof and secured above the purlin to the logs of the upper crown.

Method of assembling a gable roof truss system

Advice: Because the wooden log houses give strong shrinkage, rafter legs They should be fixed to the walls using special fasteners - “sleds”, which ensure their mobility.

At the next stage, a continuous sheathing is installed across the rafters. A waterproofing carpet is attached to it with thin bars. Sheets of metal tiles are fixed to the bars with self-tapping screws.

Continuous sheathing of a gable roof

The final stage

When installing floors around the barbecue, it is imperative to either lay heat-resistant tiles, or just stuff a piece of tin.

How to set up a gazebo with barbecue

Log gazebos with barbecues can be very beautiful and comfortable. However, of course, only on condition the right choice furnishings and their location.

Photo of a cobblestone gazebo with a barbecue. Closed glazed options beautiful and very comfortable

Often such structures are combined with a kitchen. In this case, when assembling the barbecue, it is usually laid out and work zone(countertop with sink).

Since it's covered garden building with a barbecue, it is mostly built for receiving guests and holding various kinds of celebrations; maximum attention should be paid to convenience. The legs of the first one are best secured to the floor. The table is usually installed in the middle. This increases its functionality.

Photo of a comfortable gazebo with a table located in the middle

As for styles, country and Russian are most suitable for the design of a log gazebo. In the first case, massive furniture is placed inside the structure, and to decorate furnishings it is used a natural stone or forged rough elements. Gazebos in the Russian style are richly decorated with carvings or various kinds of “fairy-tale” elements.

A properly selected or hand-built stove for a gazebo not only makes it more comfortable. A gazebo with a stove will cope with the role summer kitchen, not dirty, on the contrary, decorating the garden plot.

Even if you just put a barbecue in the gazebo, it can be modified in such a way that the culinary functions will be significantly expanded, and the smoke from the gazebo will be reduced to a minimum, see below. If we take into account all the features of operating a solid fuel cooker in an open unheated room and work a little, then you can forget about the summer kitchen stuffiness in the house, if only the weather allows you to cook outside. This article is written about how to choose a purchased stove for a gazebo and what you need to know to build it there yourself.

What is required from the oven

The fact that an outdoor stove must be resistant to external influences, obviously. The extent of their impact on the structure of the furnace is not entirely obvious: at least 10-15 degrees, or even 30-50, are added from below to the temperature range that the furnace must withstand; They don’t bring the stove into the house for the winter. The plasticity of traditional clay stove mortar is no longer enough for this; Previously, outdoor stoves were laid on clay-lime and other modifications of ancient mineral stoves masonry mortars for furnaces. They added eggs to the solution, but still, the outdoor oven served for 10-15 years at most without replacement. Therefore, in our time they are mainly placed not on clay solution, and on oven adhesives; These are already products of modern chemistry. Outwardly, they are similar to building cement-sand mortar, but they are based on heat-resistant cement or finely ground steatite stove stone in a special binder with plasticizer additives. Kiln adhesives are more expensive than old kiln mortars, but more flexible than the best white clay, and those intended for external use are frost and moisture resistant.

Even less obvious is the requirement for temperature stability in the working area of the furnace. In the summer, a lot of things are baked over coals and generally cooked over an open fire. A barbecue oven for a gazebo or other similar purpose must maintain the temperature in the area where the product is located no less accurately than it allows gas stove, otherwise it will either burn or taste bad. This requirement is even more stringent if the oven has a smokehouse: a single short-term precipitation of acidic condensate in the smoking cabinet spoils the entire batch.

At the same time, it is most often technically impossible to equip a stove in a gazebo with a high chimney and a complex system smoke channels, stabilizing draft and smoothing out the wind blowing into the pipe. For aesthetic reasons, a deflector is not always applicable. Then you have to sacrifice the efficiency of the oven and ensure its technological culinary qualities in other ways, see below.

And finally, if the stove in the gazebo is suitable only for barbecue, grilling and roast beef, this detracts from a significant part of its advantages. As a result, gazebo stoves are often built as part of a culinary complex, which makes it possible to prepare everyday food. The optimal, but rather labor-intensive solution in this case is the construction of a summer culinary complex along with a gazebo, see also at the end.

Fireclay and chimney

There are generally 2 universal methods ensure the proper quality of food prepared in the gazebo oven. One of them is the use of fireclay bricks not only for the heat-resistant core of the furnace, but also for the lining ( internal lining) throughout the cooking chamber and in the chimney. The heat capacity and thermal conductivity of fireclay are high: the furnace has to be heated for quite a long time, but then thermal radiation from the walls of the fire chamber to some extent counteracts temperature fluctuations in it, and the draft in the fireclay chimney remains more stable.

The procedure for a barbecue stove for a gazebo, built according to this principle, is given in Fig. This same design uses another principle, see below, but it main drawback– quite a large number of steel mortgages (row 10) and wire ties (rows 22-28). The coefficient of thermal expansion (TCE) of steel is greater than that of fireclay and even more so that of brick, and the operating temperature range of the stove in the gazebo is wider than that of a house stove, see above. The presence of steel in the structure negatively affects the durability of the furnace and requires particularly careful construction work.

In addition, fireclay is generally not a material for external use. It is practically eternal in a hot, dry atmosphere, and in the open air it is destroyed over time. All the more likely - in a gazebo stove, which stands unheated during the winter. You can extend the life of exposed fireclay with heat-resistant, moisture-repellent impregnation, for example, acrylic and plastering. waterproof plaster increased plasticity, e.g. lime with vermiculite and polymer additives. Greater plasticity of the plaster is necessary because... The TCR of fireclay bricks is greater than that of other building materials.

Note: how to build a barbecue grill in a gazebo of a slightly different design, see the video below:

Video: example of building an oven with grill and barbecue

In general, there are a lot of difficulties and fuss with fireclay, so in stoves for gazebos they often do without it, making them with a chimney equipped with a smoke trap tent (smoke umbrella). In this case, the gas cushion under the tent takes on the role of temperature and wind damper. Its anti-blowing effect is short-lived, only during gusts of wind, so in places with long strong winds it is not recommended to place only a smoke tent on the stove.

In quiet areas, it is enough to place a tent over a regular barbecue so that the kebabs ripen on time and do not burn, pos. 1 in Fig.:

At least simplest hearth(see below) with a wind fence enhances the positive effect of the tent. In this case, the rule should be observed: the more open the stove is to the wind, the higher the tent should be and the lower the chimney, pos. 2 and 3. A brick tent over a closed fire chamber, pos. 4. This type of stove for a gazebo can maintain the temperature in the cooking zone no less accurately than a gas stove, and can be equipped with a smokehouse, also see below.

Note: Unfortunately, you can’t put a damper (draft regulator) in a chimney with an umbrella - smoke and fumes will come out.

If you buy

The above information is of a general nature; it will also be useful when choosing a purchased stove. But the main thing you need to know when deciding whether to build a stove in a gazebo or buy it is either you shell out at least 2000 USD, or you don’t get rid of construction work, which will cost approx. 1000 of the same monetary units, in addition to the cost of the stove. Or you will have to sacrifice the taste of the food.

Ready-made stoves for gazebos are available in several types. Composite modular ones (item 1 in the figure below) are very light: the load on the supporting surface from them does not exceed housing construction 250 kgf/sq. m, so composite stoves can be placed simply on the floor. The modules are delivered assembled, they can be arranged like furniture: tilted, dragged. A composite stove breathes and in all operational parameters is equivalent to a good brick one, but $2000 for one is still cheap.

Composite mini-oven, pos. 2, will cost 2-2.5 times cheaper, and one person brings it into the barn for the winter; at most two. This is mandatory, because mini-ovens belong to the economy class of these products; most of them are not certified for frost resistance. For the same economical reason, the mini-oven does not breathe and the quality of the baked goods from it is, at best, slightly above average.

Prefabricated stone stoves, pos. 3, made from steatite or its full-fledged substitutes. The product quality is ensured to be of the highest quality and is supplied in parts. The cost of the kit is only slightly lower than a ready-made modular oven. On-site installation from the supplier is formally free, but before that you need to order the construction of a foundation (the stove weighs more than half a ton), which costs $200-$900, depending on the type of existing building and local conditions. If the foundation is homemade, you will have to pick it up at your own expense and the warranty will be void.

A branded steel hearth stove for a gazebo (item 4) can be found for $250-300, and a used one that is quite suitable can be found at half the price. Weighs, depending on the model, 100-250 kg, can be placed on the floor. But the quality of the products is no higher than from a market barbecue.

If you build

To properly build a stove for a gazebo with your own hands, you need, in addition to the features described above, to know something else about construction methods. As we already understood, the stove in the gazebo should satisfy the footprint. conditions:

  1. The structure of the furnace should contain as little metal and fireclay as possible. It’s better to do without them altogether;
  2. The optimal design is with a heat chamber and a smoke tent;
  3. The quality of baked products (shish kebab, grill, barbecue) from the oven must meet high culinary standards;
  4. The oven should make it possible to cook everyday food.

All-metal furnaces completely exclude point 3, and therefore are not considered. The stove in the gazebo, which produces delicious food, must be built of brick.

Glue miracles

Build a brick stove in a gazebo that satisfies all the specified requirements, possibly using modern stoves. Among them there are quick-hardening ones, produced in tubes. Bricks can be glued to each other by weight, which makes it possible to construct flat brick floors without mortgages. For an orthodox stove maker, this is heresy - how is it that bricks hang in the ceiling? But many modern projects stoves are designed specifically for this method of laying. In this case, the orders are calculated on a computer, taking into account all the forces and stresses arising in the structure of the furnace.

Rapid-curing oven adhesives are expensive and have been used for less than 15 years, so there is no reliable data on the longevity of ovens built on them. But a stove into a gazebo without mortgages can also be glued together with “ordinary” high-strength, moisture-resistant stove glue, for example. ScannMix or the domestic K-77, if you use a technological technique known since ancient times, namely, a temporary bed under the masonry. In the old days, they were built on fairly plastic lime mortar, and ancient buildings with brick ceilings have survived in some places to this day. When strong, resistant and cheap, but hard and brittle marl cement came into play, the temporary bed method remained in the annals of technical evolution, but it is quite suitable for computer calculation of orders and oven adhesives.

Scheme of construction of a hanging flat brick floor on a temporary bed is shown in Fig. The bed panel is covered with a film - good stove glue is sticky, almost like assembly glue. Deadlines are 7 (2-9) and 20 (10-30) days. indicate technical breaks for the set of adhesives indicated above, respectively. 50% and full strength; daily terms (1 and 10 days) – maximum permissible production time this stage works for the same adhesives; for others they may be different. When laying out a glued flat vault using the temporary bed method, you must strictly follow the trace. rules:

  • The ceiling must consist of at least 2 rows of brickwork.
  • It must end with some kind of hollow structure, the weight of which distributes the stress in the structure so that the hanging bricks are compressed from the sides.
  • It needs to be built only according to a well-calculated computer design, no ad-libbing!
  • It is unacceptable to deviate even one iota from the design procedures, deadlines and production technology of the work stages!
  • It is also unacceptable to exceed the design load on the floor - to add something on top of yourself, to load loads heavier than those specified in the specifications for the project.

Which one to build?

Not everyone needs a fully functional stove in a gazebo. If feasts in the gazebo are held irregularly in good weather, then perhaps the best option there will be a simple barbecue fireplace. A barbecue fire pit is built on the foundation described below. Masonry - on any masonry stove mortar for outdoor stoves, not necessarily on glue. In a gazebo, to avoid smoke, it is enough to equip this hearth with a galvanized smoke umbrella.

The structure of a barbecue fireplace is shown on the left in Fig. A cross-linked row of bricks serves as a runner for a brazier with a grate-rasper. It is advisable to make several such rows so that the rasp can be placed on different heights over coals; at its minimum value, a cooking utensil is placed on the rasper. To prepare shish kebab, the frying pans with raspers are removed, and a portable grill is placed in the enclosure. Drawings of a double barbecue hearth are given on the right in Fig. In this you can cook 2 dishes at once; True, this will not take much less wood than for a fire.

If you need to satisfy all the above requirements for a gazebo stove, you need to build more seriously. Without any modern innovations, they are satisfied with a small Russian stove, pos. 1 per rice; it is also quite economical. But, alas, the design of a Russian stove is complex, and the smallest one requires 2,500 bricks.

Stoves in gazebos are often stylized as Russian, pos. 2 and 3. Unfortunately, all they have from “cute” is a forehead with an arch. There is no fire chamber as such, so “Russian style” stoves often smoke. Which not only spoils their appearance (item 3), but is also dangerous in terms of fire. Therefore, it is better to take as an example a classic barbecue oven, pos. 4, but firstly, we use the opportunities adhesive technology and the temporary bed method. Secondly, we will still try to stylize the stove, decorating its face with an arch, but maintaining the fire chamber and the tent. Thirdly, it will be necessary that this oven can be used to fry shish kebab and cook soup without changing anything in it.

Foundation

Whatever stove we build in the gazebo, we first need to lay a foundation for it. It is not difficult to make a foundation for a glued stove, because... it is strong enough to withstand seasonal soil movements, except for heavily and excessively heaving soil. Foundation design – reinforced concrete slab thickness from 0.5 m. The same depth - a foundation pit for it; it contains 15 cm of crushed stone and sand anti-heaving bedding. The bedding is compacted layer by layer. Foundation slab is displayed 1 cm below the level of the finished floor, because gazebo - light structure, not buried foundation and also “walks” along with the ground. The displacement of the slab beyond the contour of the stove in plan is from 5 cm. Waterproofing made of 2 layers of roofing felt and a fire-fighting blind area made of steel sheet on a 6-mm asbestos cushion is laid on the slab; the removal of the blind area is 60 cm in front of the firebox and 30 cm on the other sides. The stove is built directly on steel without a bed (here - permanent, under the stove), because The adhesion of oven adhesives to metal is quite high.

Note: if the stove is built together with a gazebo, it is strongly recommended to build a roof after building the stove. Otherwise, you will then bother to install a chimney passage through the roofing pie.

Building a stove

A 3D computer design of a stove for a gazebo, which can be built without metal embedded parts, is shown in Fig. It can also be built with steel if you are afraid of hanging bricks or use a much cheaper clay-cement or lime-cement stove mortar for outdoor stoves. In this case, the hanging edges of the bricks should rest on embedded corners or 6 mm rolled wire, similar to the order of the barbecue stove, see above. Material – ordinary kiln brick, and for rows up to the 6th inclusive, even a working hollow one.

The highlight of this design is the side firebox. Its door is also an air access regulator. The structure of the furnace includes a fire chamber, a tent above it, and for decorative purposes it is equipped with an arch. The fire can be lit both on the grate and under it. You can place a rasper, skewers, and cookware on the brick runners above the grate. If you make a damper for the throat (portal) of the fire chamber, you can even cook real daily cabbage soup in this oven. Thanks to the compact heat-intensive fire chamber with a tent, the stove is little sensitive to the height of the pipe - it is erected in accordance with the height of the gazebo. The foundation is as described above (the fire protection area is not shown in the project). Please note that the oven includes a cutting table. Table top made of artificial stone You can replace any other one, but for the sake of compactness, you can’t remove the table at all!

The design is calculated on a computer, and literally every brick in it is important for its overall strength!

The order of this stove in the gazebo is shown in the following. rice.:

The following illustrates the main stages of constructing a furnace. “Empty” seams are actually also filled with glue; they either border the hanging edges of the bricks or, perhaps, in some pictures there is simply a graphic defect.

Here in Fig. – laying the base of the furnace with a furnace. In rows 1-6, you can use working hollow bricks using ordinary cement-sand mortar. Row 7 (firebox bed) is laid out only on glue using a temporary bed or on steel embeds. If the laying is carried out using ordinary stove glue and on a temporary bed, after laying out the 7th row (on the right in the figure), you need to give a technical break for the glue to fully gain strength.

The masonry of the firebox (see figure) has its own peculiarities. The temporary bed is removed no earlier than the 8th row, pos. 1. The 9th row partially covers the opening under the tabletop, pos. 2. He (again, if the stove is installed on ordinary glue) is given a technical break for 50% strengthening of the glue. After laying out the walls of the firebox (10th and 11th rows in a row, positions 3 and 4), a strong table top (position 5) is applied with the same glue, and again a technical break for a 50% increase in strength. Then the firebox is completed and the grate is installed, pos. 6 and 7. Pay attention to the slanted bricks in the far right corner, this is a must! The 12th row completes the masonry of the firebox; aka the first row of the heat chamber, pos. 8. After it - a technical break for 100% strength gain.

The laying of the walls of the fire chamber (rows 13-16, see figure) has no significant features. No technical breaks required.

The decorative arch of the stove (see figure) is circular, sectorial, without locking. The heels of the arch are formed partly by cuts of bricks from the 18th row, and partly by backing brick scraps. The arch, for decorative purposes, is extended 50 mm from the forehead of the stove. In the original manual for the project, it is recommended to lay it out of ordinary brick, sawn onto a wedge with a grinder according to a template. However, it is better to purchase shaped bricks of a trapezoidal cross-section for the arch; they are sold individually.

The oven shelf (see figure) is laid out on a temporary bed using ordinary glue or reinforced with wire rod, the tendrils of which are embedded in the seams of the 20th row. Here again, pay attention to the oblique cuts of the corner bricks on the back side of the shelf; their purpose is the same as for the masonry of the firebox - to ensure strength. After laying the shelf, there is a technical break for 50% strengthening of the glue.

The furnace tent, 3 rows high (see figure), is also laid out using a temporary bed or hemming hanging bricks with wire rod. The chimney laying has no special features.

Note: As you can see, using ordinary stove glue, building such a stove can take up a good part of the summer. But it will cost much less (quick-hardening oven glue in tubes is very expensive) and can be done by an unskilled worker.

If you need a complex

Complete Summer Culinary furnace complex for a gazebo, garden, cottage (on the left in the figure below) is not just bulky, complicated and expensive. It only makes sense to build it for individual use personal plot when the family is in warm time literally lives in a gazebo.

Anyone, let alone a stove maker—a stove user—knows that a stove exhibits all its qualities only when it is warm and regularly fired. In order for such a giant to enter the regime, it needs to be heated for a day, or even more. At a weekend dacha, it would be more rational to build a barbecue oven in the gazebo; it heats up in less than half an hour. Complete Kitchen Area a sink, etc. can be furnished, everything together will look no worse, in the center. If the gazebo is used in warm weather only as a summer kitchen, the optimal solution would be a barbecue oven or barbecue with hob, on the right in Fig. How to build a barbecue oven with a hob for a gazebo, see the video guide (you can download it for free from the link on YouTube detailed project with specification):

Video: do-it-yourself oven-barbecue for a gazebo with a hob

The situation changes when needed. Simple designs provide stable conditions in the smoking cabinet at best during hot smoking in quiet warm weather. If you plan to smoke in a gazebo regularly, you cannot do without fireclay in the construction of the stove. Technologically, construction is simplified, and the complex is more durable if it is built together with a permanent gazebo on a normally buried foundation, because Due to the large wingspan of the complex, it is much more sensitive to seasonal ground movements than a compact stove.

For high-quality at least semi-cold smoking, the smoking cabinet must be high enough. In this case, the tent will no longer fit over the heat chamber. To ensure the required traction stability, it is necessary, firstly, to remove chimney not lower than 4 m above the bottom of the fire chamber. Secondly, the chimney is made of 2 or 3 channels, see fig. This technique is widely used in homes with stove heating. The probability of the wind blowing out 2 chimneys at once is small, and 3 are almost zero.

Enough detailed guide for the construction of a gazebo with a culinary complex shown in the figure, see the link: vosledoma.com/stroitelstvo-besedki-s-barbekyu/. However, with all due respect to its author, who is certainly a knowledgeable, skillful and hardworking craftsman, one remark must be made here: you cannot leave fireclay exposed to all the winds and rains; no impregnation will save you. The walls of the complex facing outside in this gazebo should be lined with stove glue with facing bricks or the like. moisture/frost-resistant material, similar in TKR to fireclay bricks.
