If you decide to make a built-in wardrobe for the balcony, then it is important to determine whether the structure will have walls, as mentioned above; the walls of the loggia can act in their role. In the latter case, the lining will be needed only for door trim. The back wall should be covered with laminated fiberboard. This will increase moisture resistance.
To install the frame, you first need to assemble the rear and front frame. Why should the beams be connected using a steel angle? It is possible to carry out such work without using corners, then for this you should prepare self-tapping screws; their length should not be less than 60 millimeters. At the next stage, the back wall is fixed. To do this, you can use a construction stapler or self-tapping screws. The fiberboard should be fixed at the back, measured, and then the element should be leveled and secured with anchors.
The dimensions of the cabinet can be selected individually. The assembly technology will remain the same. The frame should be fixed with 50 cm beams using anchor bolts. Then the front frame is installed. In order to increase the rigidity of the structure, as well as increase its strength, the front frame must be strengthened not only to the wall, but also to the floor. The next step is to install the shelves.

Theoretically, this is not difficult to do, you just need to cover the inside of the box with foam plastic or penofol, and blow out the gaps polyurethane foam. But there is no particular point in such insulation, because in order to prevent the preservation from freezing, you need to install heating inside the cabinet.
I, like most masters, do not welcome this approach. To ensure a normal microclimate, you need to completely insulate the balcony. Half-measures, such as insulating a closet alone, do not give results, there are a lot of body movements, but there is little sense.
Lining is a special configuration of planks that are joined according to the tongue-and-groove principle and form a continuous covering. There is a wooden and plastic lining. Both types are suitable for covering a balcony, but only wood is used to build a cabinet.
There are a couple of nuances here, firstly, there are 4 grades of lining; for constructing furniture with your own hands, only the first grade (A) is used and premium(Extra). Secondly, on cold loggias it is advisable to cover the wood with waterproof varnish in several layers.
A cabinet with a metal-plastic front is made quickly, but is expensive. You can’t make it with your own hands at home; you just need to order it from window and door manufacturing companies. The only thing you can save on is to knock down the frame yourself and install shelves with drawers.
If you order glazing and insulation of a balcony from a company, then it makes sense to immediately agree on the installation of a cabinet. In this case, the cabinet will cost a third less than ordering it separately.

1. Installation of fasteners
