One of the most important events in the life of every young girl is, of course, the school prom. This event marks the end of an entire school era and is a kind of “bridge” to adulthood. In addition, this is one of the few holidays when you can give free rein to your imagination in choosing an outfit and turn, at least for one evening, into a real princess for your family and classmates. Thanks to this video lesson “How to choose a prom dress,” future graduates, as well as their mothers, grandmothers and girlfriends, will be able to familiarize themselves with the recommendations of leading stylists regarding exactly what factors need to be taken into account when choosing a prom dress and what rules should be followed. It's no secret that many young ladies begin to think about choosing an outfit for prom long before the event itself - sometimes even a year in advance. There is no single point of view on what a dress for a prom should be, because all girls are different, each with their own style, character and features of appearance. Therefore, it is extremely important not to just blindly follow fashion trends, but try to make sure that the graduation outfit is in harmony with the personality of the graduate, reflects her individuality and emphasizes her external advantages. Many girls prefer to follow traditional rules in choosing a dress - they choose pastel colors, light fabrics, feminine silhouettes. Of course, this is already a classic, so such outfits will always be appropriate for a prom. However, if a girl wants to show off her originality, then it is quite possible to get creative - choose more unusual colors and styles. As a rule, black is considered an undesirable color - it may be too heavy and gloomy for a young girl during the prom.

It’s no secret that human health is the most important thing, so taking care of your own health and your body should start from a very early age. As they say, many diseases are much easier to prevent in time than to treat later, when the disease has already begun to develop intensively.

High-quality medical services are in demand everywhere and always: both a thousand years ago and today. It is well known that the profession of an aesculapian does not tolerate unprofessionalism and amateurism, therefore you should seek medical help only from highly qualified specialists. Otherwise poor quality health care may not only not bring the desired improvement, but, on the contrary, may further aggravate the situation and harm health.

Today, the services of large general medical centers, so-called family medical centers (or clinics), which will provide high-quality medical services to all family members: both adults and children, are in great demand.

Among the many advantages of such medical centers, I would especially like to highlight the following:

  • Extremely high quality of medical services offered. The entire staff of a large center - from the head physician to the nurse - is highly qualified, rich practical experience and an impeccable reputation, therefore specialists of this kind medical institutions successfully cope with even the most complex tasks;
  • Versatility. Clients of the above-mentioned private family-type clinics can safely come here with diseases of a wide variety of profiles - from therapeutic to gynecological. At the same time, an integrated approach to each patient is provided, his previous complaints and requests are taken into account.
  • Comfort. One of the main disadvantages of public hospitals - the lack of necessary amenities for comfortable treatment - has been completely eliminated in private medical institutions. Both outpatients and inpatients can stay in pleasant conditions and enjoy all the necessary amenities.
  • Availability of the most modern medical equipment;
  • Reasonable price policy, a fixed cost of services and the absence of any fees, additional payments and demands for “thank you” in envelopes, which is something that patients of so-called “free” clinics constantly face.

All of the above advantages are fully possessed by the well-known German-Ukrainian medical center Aurora, which offers everyone first-class medical services, consultations and assistance from highly qualified world-class specialists.

The violin is a wonderful musical instrument that has won millions of hearts thanks to its lyrical sound. However, violinists (both beginners and professionals) are well aware that the violin not only has a delicate and fragile sound. It is also a rather intricate instrument in itself, which requires a special approach and care.

First of all, it is worth protecting the violin from direct sunlight to avoid drying out. Under no circumstances should this musical instrument be left under the scorching sun. The same goes for severe frosts: the violin generally does not like significant temperature changes, so you need to try to maintain a favorable temperature regime in the place where the tool is stored. Remember that you should not leave the violin near open heat sources: fireplaces, air heaters, stoves, and so on.

Second, no less important advice: The violinist must constantly monitor the humidity level in the environment where the violin is stored. This musical instrument does not like either excessive humidity, since it causes the wood to become damp and possibly even mold, or too dry air, because in the latter case, cracks and other damage may appear on the wood - and the instrument will become completely unsuitable for use. Experts recommend maintaining an optimal indoor humidity level of 45-60 percent.

An extremely important responsibility of the violinist is also the regular cleaning of the instrument, which should preferably be cleaned and wiped after each use. Do not neglect this responsibility in order to avoid the appearance of dirt, abrasions and other unpleasant signs of use on the body of the violin. To avoid this, we suggest using online stores, for example,

However, even if you fully comply with all the basic recommendations for caring for a violin, its owner is not insured against damage to the instrument. Both as a result of natural wear and tear (if the violin was used for a sufficiently long period of time), and as a result of some unforeseen accidents (blows, falls, other mechanical damage).

If such troubles occur, you should not hesitate, but contact a qualified violin maker, which can offer an extensive range of instrument repair services - from replacing strings to restoring varnish.

Planting gladioli in pots is very convenient way. Thanks to him, you can always move gladioli to the right place. For example, put it in a gazebo when guests arrive. And if it is difficult to find a well-lit place in the garden, you can follow the sun by moving the pot. The second plus is that here, in the pot, the temperature of the earth will be much higher than in the ground. But it is known that gladioli cannot be planted in cold soil. But here in the Urals we have a very long spring this year. And the soil in the open ground has not yet warmed up to the required +10 degrees. And in the pot she - desired temperature. And one more thing - after flowering, gladioli must leave leaves for the bulbs to ripen. The flower stalks need to be cut off and the leaves left to dry. It's not too pretty. We have to somehow disguise the gladioli in the flowerbed. When planting in a pot, we simply remove it out of sight. Three rules for growing gladioli: 1. When planting, be sure to treat the bulbs against thrips, fertilize them after germination, if fertilizers have not been previously applied to the garden bed, and spray them against thrips at least 2 times during the summer. 2. It is very important to cut off the peduncle when the third flower blooms, then the bulb will ripen; after digging, treat it against bugs and diseases. 3. Storage of the bulbs: refrigerator, but you need to periodically take it out and dry it because there is moisture. At room temperature, treatment with chemicals is necessary; the cellar is also damp. **************************************** ******************** To get a good harvest, you should approach the issue wisely. If you, like me, purchased or saved gladioli bulbs, then now, in May, the earth has already warmed up well and this means that the best time has come. the right time plant them in the ground. Let me remind you that the main condition for this procedure is the soil temperature, that is, it must warm up to at least 10 degrees, and this means at a depth of 10 cm.

In spring, the time for traditional chores begins for all flower growers and gardeners. One of these pleasant chores is planting and growing flowers in the garden, as well as caring for them. And gladioli are no exception.

Like other flowers, majestic and beautiful gladioli constantly need good care and attention. Particularly important correct landing and care in the spring. Although gladioli can be called capricious flowers, growing these plants pays off handsomely.

Getting ready to land

Preparations for planting gladioli can begin approximately 20-15 days before planting. It is best to do this in April. In spring, the soil warms up quite quickly and dries out a little. Yes and outside temperature normalizes.

Gladioli bulbs must be peeled in advance. Experienced flower growers advise doing this. This should be done to make it easier for the children to germinate. This is why peeled tubers appear several days earlier. By clearing the scales from the bulbs, you can at the same time check their condition. If there are signs of any disease, the tubers need to be treated. This can be done quite independently, “armed” with a sharp knife and an antiseptic. But you will have to wait a little while planting such bulbs. It will take about a week for the treated wounds to dry out and heal.

The finished tubers can be laid out on a light windowsill. It is imperative that this place be warm (+22 - +27 C).

In such conditions, gladioli will “come to life” within a month and will delight you with the tubercles that appear on the tubers. Also, before planting, gladioli are treated with a disinfecting solution. As a rule, at home, an aqueous solution with the addition of a small amount of manganese is used. The resulting liquid should be light pink in color.
There are some relevant tips in the following video.

Transplanting the bulbs into open ground

Gladioli should be planted in open ground in the spring, in early May. But it is worth providing proper care for the flowers, and for this you need to take into account the climatic features of the area in which the planting will take place. For example, in regions with a temperate climate, the first weeks of May are considered the best period for planting tubers.

Having decided to plant gladioli in the garden, you must first select for them “ permanent place residence." It is the choice of the site where planting will take place that will affect further growth and flowering plants. It would be better if this was a place in the garden where there is a lot sunlight and the wind doesn't blow much.

Good soil for growing gladioli is considered to be ordinary black soil, a mixture of sandy loam and loam, with a neutral or slightly acidic environment.

Before planting gladioli in a place you like, the soil will need to be fluffed up. This will help rid the soil of excess moisture. It would be nice if the area for planting gladioli tubers could be dug up and fertilized in the fall. This will make caring for your plants much easier in the future.

For bulbs of different sizes you will need to provide different depths landings. Eg:

  • bulbs larger than 2 cm in diameter should be placed 5-10 cm into the soil;
  • for medium tubers (diameter from 1 to 3 cm), a depth of 4-7 cm is suitable;
  • Small bulbs, with a diameter of approximately 1 cm, are planted at a depth of 3-5 cm from the surface.

For adult gladioli, it will be better if the tubers are planted at a distance of 15 to 20 cm. It is advisable to place the same distance between the rows. Small gladioli tubers can be planted closer. We offer a short video tutorial on preparing and planting gladioli tubers.

How to properly care for seedlings

Gladioli are graceful plants that, when planted in spring, produce inflorescences with colorful flowers and sword-shaped leaves. To get healthy and beautiful gladioli, you need to properly organize their care after planting.

Firstly, they should be watered in a timely manner. In spring, the soil is moist enough so you can water the plants as needed. It is advisable to increase the volume of watering during the period when flower stalks will form (from 10 to 15 liters per 1 square meter). This stage can be easily determined by the number of leaves - when there are 3-4 full leaves. Especially a lot of water will be needed for irrigation during the flowering of gladioli. Immediately after each watering, try to slightly loosen the soil and hill up the plants a little.

Secondly, it is important to feed gladioli on time. The first “portion” can be applied as early as 4 and 6-8 weeks after the plants have been planted. Nitrogen fertilizer is suitable. Based on 1 square meter Soil fertilizer will need about 25-30 grams. If the area is rich in nitrogen, then the fertilizer rate should be halved. When the first buds appear, the soil should also be fed. And do not forget that before applying fertilizers, the soil should be watered.

Gladioli are great when spraying leaves with mineral microfertilizers. Very good results are obtained by spraying with solutions of potassium permanganate and boric acid.

Thirdly, it is worth paying a lot of attention to weeding and mulching the soil. A small layer of humus or peat, just 3-5 cm, will help retain moisture and ventilate the soil. In this useful and simple way you can get rid of weeds in a flowerbed, interfering with their growth, and ensure good care.

How to care for adult flowers

Caring for grown-up gladioli is not difficult. The main thing is to monitor the condition of the plants and soil. Just like seedlings, adult flowers need airing of the ground and good watering.

You will definitely need to tie up the plants when they start to grow. Regular pegs are suitable for this. You can do without a garter, simply hilling them up to about 10 cm so that the plants are stable.

When cutting gladioli, try not to trim lower leaves. In order for the bulb to continue to develop normally, it will be enough to leave only 4-5 leaves.

Unfortunately, gladioli often suffer from diseases and pests. Therefore, they especially need good care. To prevent diseases, you can use special solutions. As a rule, they are used several times during cultivation.

As you can see, planting and caring for gladioli is not difficult. And with a lot of desire and an excellent understanding of the needs of the plant, you will undoubtedly be able to grow these majestic flowers.

Usually they do not appear in the garden right away, since planting and caring for gladioli in the open ground raises doubts among novice gardeners. It’s difficult, troublesome, and doesn’t always live up to expectations. There is especially a lot of hassle with bulbs - they need to be dug up every year, stored in certain conditions, treated, vernalized, and children raised. In spring, flowers need to be planted on time and correctly, fed, tied up, and protected from pests. In general, there is a lot of wisdom. But look at the photo, aren’t these noble, long-legged beauties worth it?

The influence of plant biology on agricultural technology

It would seem that he studied in detail how to plant gladioli, did everything according to science, looked after him like little children, but the result was not impressive. Or even if everything worked out as it should in the first or second year, after a while the flowers begin to ache, become smaller, and degenerate. To prevent this from happening, you must not just blindly follow the recommendations, but understand the biology of the plant.

A peculiarity of corm crops, which includes gladiolus, is a two-year development cycle. In the first year, the bulb forms as a daughter bulb and lays down developmental organs; in the second year, it gives life to a flower and a new corm, and then dies.

During the growing season, development phases are distinguished when certain plant systems are formed more intensively, nutrition and moisture are consumed unequally, and therefore the emphasis in care shifts.

Let's consider the basic rules for growing gladioli in open ground in connection with their biological characteristics. This approach will help you avoid common mistakes.

  1. The value of a planting gladiolus corm is not in size, as many people think, but in age.
The highest quality is considered to be material obtained from tuber buds and which has never produced a flower. This is easy to determine by the absence of a dried peduncle and a small, neat bottom. Such bulbs are called juvenile and produce the largest decorative flower. Further, it will resume, but optimal time its use is 2–3 years. Anything older will hurt, worsen flowering, and fall out during storage. Conclusion - planting material must be regularly replaced, supplemented, and rejuvenated.
  2. Most favorable for gladiolus early boarding. In the recommendations on when to plant gladioli, you can find information about shifting the timing during the warm period in order to get later flowering, for example, by September. But this contradicts the biology of the flower. At soil temperatures of 4–15⁰ C, it develops intensively root system, the plant turns out powerful, blooms earlier and more abundantly, and promptly forms a large replacement bulb. At a temperature of 15–18⁰ C, the vegetative part (stem, leaves) grows faster, but the roots lag behind, and the gladiolus turns out weaker. Conclusion - to extend flowering, use early, middle and late varieties.
  3. Gladioli cannot be grown in the same place for several years. On the one hand, the soil is depleted, as the same set of minerals and microelements is consumed, and harmonious proportions cannot always be restored with the help of fertilizers. The second negative factor is contamination of the habitat by “targeted” diseases and pests. For the same reason, it is not recommended to plant gladioli after other bulbous plants (tulips, lilies), next to plants with an aggressive root system, for example, peonies. Conclusion - follow crop rotation.
  4. A flower has growth phases when it is most vulnerable to adverse conditions. Gladiolus formed 3–4 leaves. During this period, the roots of the second tier are formed, feeding the daughter bulb, while the old (maternal) roots, which provided the start, gradually die off. At the same time, a peduncle begins to form, drawing nutrients onto itself. There comes a time when adequate moisture and nutrition are more important than ever. If conditions are unfavorable, new roots develop worse, and late varieties They may not grow back at all, which can lead to oppression and even death of the flower. Conclusion - during this period, regular watering and fertilizing are needed.
  5. Not all varieties of gladioli can develop successfully in regions with a moderately cold climate. You can often hear that after planting gladioli in the ground in the spring, they grew and bloomed beautifully, but after digging the corms turned out to be sick and weak. It's about, most likely, about Dutch, American varieties, the planting material of which was grown in a different climate (warm and humid). When buying such decorative varieties, be prepared for the fact that you are unlikely to receive your planting material. Conclusion - cultivate Russian varieties; among foreign cultivars, give preference to those adapted to our conditions.
  6. In gladioli agricultural technology, soil mulching plays an important role. The fact is that the second tier of roots, which we talked about a little higher, does not go deep, but develops the upper fertile layer. Their depth is 5–18 cm. Mulching with peat compost, rotted straw, and grass compost prevents overheating and drying out of the soil and improves its aeration. Plants grown in mulched flower beds form powerful inflorescences, increasing the number of buds by 4–5, bloom longer, suffer less disease, and produce 20–25% more bulbs. Conclusion - do not ignore this agricultural technique.

Planting gladioli in the ground

Prepare a sleigh in the summer and a cart in the winter - this folk wisdom also works in the case of the hero of our article. Before figuring out how to plant gladioli in the spring, how and when to treat the bulbs, let’s take care of the future flower bed, because it needs to be prepared in the fall.

Site selection and soil preparation

When choosing a location for a future flower garden, consider the following points.

  • Gladiolus is a flower of the South African prairies, it loves light and solar energy. The further north you live, the more scrupulously you fulfill this requirement. In the southern regions early varieties They also do well in shade, but it’s better not to take risks with late ones.
  • Corms do not tolerate soaking, they begin to rot and become moldy. If there is a risk of garden flooding groundwater, choose a place on a hill to plant flowers; drainage may be needed in the spring.
  • Tall peduncles can bend and break when exposed to wind. Consider the wind rose for your region and provide a natural barrier in the path of at least the most powerful and destructive of them.

If you have decided on a place, let's start autumn preparation soil. The first step is to dig deep so that by spring the earth is saturated with moisture and fluffed up.

Next, we move on to improving its quality. We proceed from the fact that gladioli prefer a neutral or slightly acidic reaction of the soil environment, i.e. alkaline soil will have to be acidified, and acidic soil will have to be alkalized. An acidic environment is more dangerous, since plants in it suffer from fusarium. Neutralize the negative reaction with lime, dolomite flour, which is brought in for digging. Approximate consumption rates are 150–200 g/m².

For growing gladioli in open ground, the optimal soil structure is fertile black soil or loam. Improve the composition sandy soil you can use peat compost, humus; river sand and peat will help loosen the clay. Please note that the last component acidifies the earth.

To enrich the soil, fertilizers are applied during autumn digging:

  • compost, preferably vegetable compost, because manure accumulates fungal diseases– 15–20 kg/m²;
  • granulated superphosphate – 100 g/m²;
  • potassium chloride – 30–40 g/m².

Instead of different mineral fertilizers, you can take complex fertilizers, such as nitroammophoska, nitrophoska.

Pre-planting preparation of corms

The question of how to prepare gladioli for planting in the spring is the most common question among beginning gardeners. The algorithm of actions is as follows.

  1. About a month before planting, the stored bulbs are inspected. They are cleaned of dry covering scales, and missing planting material is discarded. If the damage is minor, mold and rot are scraped off and cut out. The wound is disinfected with brilliant green or crushed with charcoal or activated carbon.
  2. The corms are vernalized. The principle is the same as for sprouting potatoes. The bulbs are laid out in one row on paper, sawdust (no matter) bottom down and left in a warm (20–25⁰ C), bright place, for example, on a cabinet in the kitchen.

Important! Under no circumstances should planting material be wetted during vernalization. Moisture stimulates the formation of roots, and it is important for us that the apical bud wakes up. A properly vernalized tuber has a small sprout and root primordia (tubercles) around the circumference of the bottom.

  3. Immediately before planting in the ground, the bulbs are pickled and soaked in stimulating solutions.

The purpose of these measures is to disinfect planting material, increase its resistance to negative factors soil environment, diseases, pests. What is used and how – we will give examples.

  • Soak for several hours in a weak solution of potassium permanganate, fungicidal drugs - this is against fungal infections. It is good if the drug used is also active against thrips.
  • Heat treatment is carried out. The bulbs are immersed in water at a temperature of +54⁰ C for 15 minutes and then cooled.
  • Soak in a solution of microelements and stimulants (can be mixed with a fungicide). Experts note an improvement in flower decorativeness after using the biostimulator epin.

Landing dates

When to plant gladioli in the ground depends on the climate zone, adjusted for weather this or that year. It is most correct to determine them by the soil temperature at a depth of 10–15 cm - optimally 9–10⁰ C. In colder soil, the bulbs will still not germinate, they will begin to hurt, and they may even rot.

IN middle lane Gladioli are planted from mid-April to May 10. In the southern regions ( Krasnodar region, Rostov region) – 2–3 weeks earlier.

The popular marker for planting corms is birch. When the leaves of this tree grow to the size of a nickel, you can plant gladioli. By the way, the same sign also works with planting potatoes.

You can achieve early flowering of the crop using sprouted bulbs. The second option is earlier landing. What is needed for this?

The area intended for a flower garden is mulched with peat compost in the fall, and covered with film in March. Under the influence of the spring sun, the soil will warm up to the desired temperature 1–1.5 weeks faster.

Planting scheme

Gladioli can be planted in different ways - this does not affect the development of the plant or the onset of phenological phases. What planting schemes are there?

  • 20x20 cm - an option for amateur gardeners. The result is a fairly dense flower bed, with sufficient feeding area for each flower.
  • 20x30 cm - a larger distance allows you to grow large specimens for cutting.
  • 20x15 cm - a dense planting pattern is practiced if you need to propagate corms. Peduncles are cut before blooming.

An important question is how to plant gladioli so that they do not fall. The best option- a bouquet or curtain so that they support each other. In addition, the planting depth affects the stability of plants - the shallower it is, the higher the likelihood of lodging and bending of the stems.

Important! Plant corms of approximately the same size together so that strong plants do not overwhelm weak ones. When decorating a flower bed of varieties of different heights, plant tall gladioli in the center or on the north side, and the lowest ones along the edges or on the south side. Everyone should get their share of the sun.

Planting depth

Another growing secret is related to the depth at which gladioli are planted. According to the generally accepted rule, for bulbous crops it is determined based on the height, for gladiolus - from the diameter of the corm.

If the soil is loose and light, plant large planting material to a depth of 4 diameters - this is, roughly speaking, the bayonet of a shovel. In loams, the depth can be reduced to 3 diameters, but not less. The same rule works with tubers.

Dig the grooves in advance. Sprinkle the bottom with a layer of sand (1–1.5 cm); if you haven’t fertilized it since the fall, add vegetable compost and mineral fertilizers. Place the corms, cover them a little, water them, and after soaking, add the rest of the soil.

Flower care

Agricultural technology for growing gladioli in open ground includes the following elements of care - watering, mulching, fertilizing, tying, spraying against diseases and pests.

Watering and mulching

The first tier of gladiolus roots penetrates to a depth of 40–45 cm, providing the shoot with moisture and nutrition. From the moment roots form on a young onion, you need to ensure that the surface layer of soil is moist. In June, it is enough to water the seedlings once a week at the rate of 2 buckets/m². The need for moisture increases during the period of budding, flowering, and hotter weather - at the same rate, the frequency of watering is increased to 2-3 times a week.

Water the plants at the roots, being careful not to get them on the leaves, with water heated during the day in the sun. Do not forget to loosen the soil after the top layer has dried.

Mulching will help preserve moisture and soil structure - covering the root zone with a layer of peat, compost, grass at least 5 cm thick. Mulch, in addition to retaining moisture, nourishes the plant useful substances, which are released as organic matter decomposes.

Feeding

Gladioli are usually fed three times a season.

  1. At the seedling stage (2–4 leaves), nitrogen fertilizing is given. From organic fertilizers flowers respond well to a solution of dry chicken manure (1:15), horse dung(1:7). But it’s better not to offer mullein. Nitrogen fertilizers take 25–30 g/m².
  2. The second feeding needs to be complex, so that in addition to nitrogen, it contains potassium and phosphorus. It is done in a phase of 5–6 sheets. Dose – 50–60 g/m².
  3. The budding phase is the time for the third feeding. At this time, the plant needs phosphorus and potassium. You can use special complexes for flowering or superphosphate (30–40 g/m²) and potassium chloride (15–20 g/m²).

Spraying, garter

When growing gladioli in open ground, you need to take care of their protection from any misfortune. Sometimes it is enough to treat the corms before planting. But if there is a whitefly on the site, it will not let it go. Any insecticide can be used against it.

Another common problem garden flower- thrips. If the leaves appear yellow spots, dry bald spots, urgently spray the plants with insecticides with an acarcidal effect (karbofos, metafos, etc.)

Tall and unstable stems are tied up. To do this, use a strong coarse mesh - it is stretched over the seedlings before forcing the flower stalks, and as they grow, they are passed into the cells. The second option is individual pegs or special supports (as for orchids).

Gladiolus is a cutting crop. As soon as the first flower has opened, the arrow can be sent to the vase, where it will bloom until the last bud. This is also beneficial for the corms, as they have more time to accumulate nutrients and ripening.

Reproduction of gladioli

As already mentioned, although the bulb is renewed annually, it ages, so you need to learn to renew the planting material. You can grow juvenile corms from children.

Planting tubers

For propagation, when digging, the largest tubers with a diameter of at least 1.5 cm are selected. They are stored together with the bulbs.

Before planting baby gladioli in the ground in the spring, they are cleared of their thick “shirt” and disinfected. They do it like this. Place the babies in a gauze bag and place them in a solution of phytosporin with microelements and a growth stimulator for several hours, up to half a day. The tubers need air, so take a little liquid so that it barely covers them.

Children are sown separately from corms on well-lit, fertile ridges tape method with a row spacing in the grooves of 5–6 cm. The planting depth of calibrated tubers (ø2–2.5 cm) is at least 5–7 cm. The furrow is shed generously with water, and the top is mulched with dry soil or peat.

The plants are cared for in the same way as regular gladioli. If a large baby throws out an inflorescence, it needs to be broken off.

Propagation by seeds

Do you want to start breeding a garden beauty? We'll tell you how to grow gladioli from seeds.

Seeds are sown from mid-March in peat pots or tablets, paper cups to a depth of 1–1.5 cm. Seedlings are transferred to open ground with the onset of stable heat. Moreover, they do not replant, but dig in along with the pot. They take care of them like children's crops. At favorable conditions by the end of the season, each seedling will grow many tubers. Calibrated children can be planted next spring. Typically, gladioli grown from seeds bloom within 3–4 years.
