Optimal heating systems for houses made of SIP panels. Organization of heating of a private house from sip panels Electric heating in a house from sip panels

Houses made from sip panels are characterized by high thermal insulation; in most cases, you can do without an additional layer of insulation. Heating of the building occurs according to the same principles as usual.

How to protect yourself from heat loss?

Structures made from sip panels have low thermal conductivity and high wind protection. When processing panel seams polyurethane foam(or polyurethane glue) the tightness of the walls will be maintained.

It is important to install windows and doors correctly and choose high-quality finishing coat. When choosing windows, it is preferable to buy ones with built-in sealing layers and film. The price will be paid off by the speed, simplicity, and quality of installation. The same goes for doors.

Installing sealed waterproof seams yourself is not easy; it requires skill and patience.

Most heat loss occurs through windows, so it's worth choosing high-quality double glazing. Since the room must be frequently ventilated, it is necessary to pay attention to the ease of opening and closing in several positions.

Types of heating sip houses

The heat loss of sip houses is minimal, which allows you to save on heating: less energy is required, fewer heaters.

Popular types of heating:

  • radiator;
  • convector;
  • "warm floor" system;
  • air.

Heating by radiators

Radiator heating is a system consisting of a heating boiler (can be powered by electricity or gas), a pump, pipes and radiators. This is the most common and simplest type. Radiators take up quite a lot of space and require additional decoration. There are devices decorated in antique style - they are much more expensive.

Durable sip panels can withstand heavy batteries. But using this modern material, it would not be logical to use pipes and batteries. This type of heating is not cheap at all, considering the cost of energy resources, batteries, pipes, fittings, boiler, and pump. Despite the high cost, the method is inferior the latest technologies, new technologies are always more profitable and convenient.

Convector heating

Convector - works on the same principle as the previous one. Instead of vertical radiators, horizontal convectors are used. They take up more space in the room, but you can walk on them: they can be convenient to use in the hallway to dry shoes. The cost of the convectors themselves is higher than that of radiators, the rest Consumables The same.

There may be convectors with a built-in fan, so air exchange is faster, but the noise in the room is noticeable. Such devices can be turned off, but without them permanent job, not evenly heated room, cools down quickly.

Vertical convectors with a fan can quickly warm up a home. Powered by electricity, mounted on the wall. Not economically profitable, not very aesthetic appearance heating. Requires constant adjustment, dries out the air, and spreads dust.

Warm floor system

Warm floors are more labor-intensive to install, but they do not take up space and heat the entire area equally. Can work with water and electricity. Very easy to use: thanks to modern thermostats, it can maintain different temperatures V different time days. Switches to economy mode at night - it cools down, in the morning the room is comfortable.

Water heating requires laying in a screed, electric heating, cable heating can be laid in glue, infrared - directly under the finishing coating.

Air heating

Air - works on the basis of a water heating boiler, a fan, from which a warm flow goes up, then enters the room and goes down. Cold flow enters heating structure from below, through a special hole. Excess moisture leaves through ventilation. The temperature of the system and the room is regulated by thermostats.

This option is the most modern, cleanest and most harmless, thanks to the presence of filters for air purification. The built-in air conditioning system constantly maintains fresh air and the necessary humidity.

Infrared emitters

A type of heating a house with electricity, in which flat devices are installed on the walls or under the ceiling and infrared rays heat objects in the room. Their physics is such that they pass through the air and heat objects, thus heating occurs faster and more comfortably.

Overheating of the surface is not possible, but heating during prolonged shutdown occurs for quite a long time.

Heating by stove or fireplace

Heating with a stove or fireplace is only possible in small house. This method is already outdated and is not practical: it takes up a lot of space, does not heat up well, and requires a reinforced foundation.

Availability of a stove or fireplace in big house, is a sign of luxury: decorative element to give special comfort. It can also help out in case of failures in the conventional heating system. It is unlikely that you will be able to save money on it, since initially, to reduce the risk of fire, you need to take a serious approach to the choice of materials, and then the costs of firewood will also be considerable.

Which type of heating should I choose: gas or electric?

This is a secondary issue. First you need to choose the type of heating device, and depending on it, choose the energy resource. In some cases there is no choice left.

But in each situation the decision is individual.

Gas heating requires special permits (paid), many documents and installation diagrams, installation only by specialists. The equipment itself is quite expensive, laying pipes to the house is also at your own expense. Gas for heating big house is burned in sufficient quantities. For heating with gas heating, a water heated floor is most advantageous; the device allows you to warm up large area with lower costs. The adjustment of such settings does not have high accuracy and automation of settings.

Heating with electricity requires less primary costs and is easier to set up and operate. High accuracy adjustment helps to save energy resources and create optimal temperature in room. Since the heat loss of sip houses is minimal, and heating by devices is uniform, this heating option for such buildings is the best.

Choosing the type of heating is always a difficult question. When deciding, it is necessary to take into account the size of the room and the approximate resource consumption. After comparing all the pros and cons, everyone will make their own individual decision.

Heating a private house from SIP panels with electricity raises many questions and doubts; this method is considered expensive. However, you can choose an electrical appliance suitable for heating any home.

Oil heaters

They resemble regular ones in shape. heating radiators. Modern models equipped with a smooth or stepped heating regulator, built-in protections, and sometimes a fan heater. The power of oil-type heaters is from 0.8 to 2.5 kW, which allows them to be plugged into a household outlet.

They are suitable for periodic or additional heating of SIP houses, since they are not economical and dry the air, burning out oxygen. Operating an oil radiator indoors for a long time can cause illness. If the housing is damaged and oil leaks, radiators become a fire hazard, which is a serious drawback for self-supporting insulation systems at home.

Fan heaters and thermal curtains

Their distinctive feature— the presence of a fan directing the flow of heated air. Suitable for quickly heating rooms or creating a barrier to cold air and drafts.

A serious drawback is noise during operation, so residential buildings SIP panels are rarely used and only for heating certain areas:

Convectors

The operating principle is based on the physical laws of convection. There are heating elements inside the case, they heat cold air, coming from below, after which it enters the room through holes in the housing. When the convector is turned on, there is a constant circulation of air masses, the room quickly heats up to the temperature set on the controller, after which the automation turns off the heating until the air cools.

Convectors are silent and safe, but they heat mainly the air, which in houses built using SIP panel technology cools down at the slightest draft. Heating with convectors is not economical and is mainly suitable for a country house SIP or as a temporary measure until connecting a heating boiler or stove.

Infrared heaters

The principle of their operation is based on infrared radiation, capable of directionally heating objects even at considerable distance. They are installed in the upper part of the room, for example, under the ceiling, while the floor, walls, and furniture are heated. They, in turn, give off heat and heat the air. This way all levels of the room are heated evenly.

Minus infrared heaters- absorption of oxygen during heating, with prolonged use it is necessary to ensure an influx fresh air. Constant ventilation is one of the requirements for building a house from SIP panels, so its heating can be done using infrared heaters.

Warm floor

A popular way to heat rooms, especially those where high humidity: bathroom, kitchen. Heating of premises using heated floors may be permanent.

When installing a “warm floors” system, the entire surface of the floor becomes a heater, while its heating does not exceed 30 degrees, oxygen is retained in the air, and humidity, which often occurs in houses made of SIP panels, is stabilized.

Heating with electricity using underfloor heating is performed using two technologies:

  • using a heating cable;
  • with installation of infrared heating mats.

Due to its thickness, the cable is used under a screed on which the finishing coating is placed. It has increased electrical insulation compared to infrared mats; it is often used to install heated floors in the bathroom and kitchen.

The cable can be sold in a coil or in the form of mats, in which it is fixed at the distance required for uniform heating. The second option is more convenient - you do not have to perform calculations, the power of the heating mat is indicated in the documentation.

Infrared mats are thin, so they can be laid directly under the finishing coating: linoleum, laminate, carpet. Mats come in different widths and power - from 150 to 220 W per square meter.

Electric boilers

Heating a house built using SIP panel technology using an electric boiler is the most popular method after heating with gas. Electric boilers for heating a house made from SIP panels have a number of advantages:

The disadvantage of electric boilers can be called high cost electricity tariffs, but compared to other electric heating options they are economical.

The principle of operation of the boiler is as follows: in the tank of the device there are heating elements that heat the coolant - water or antifreeze. The boiler is connected to a system consisting of radiators, pipes and related devices that ensure uninterrupted circulation. The heated coolant moves in a closed circuit, giving off heat to the radiators, and they, in turn, warm the space of the house.

Electric boilers are of several types based on the principle of heating liquid:

  • heating elements;
  • induction;
  • electrode.

Electric heating elements new boilers

Heating elements consist of a heating element, most often a nichrome spiral, placed in an insulating ceramic tube. Warming up to high temperature, The heating element gives off heat to the surrounding water. It is forbidden to turn on the heating element boiler without coolant - it will burn!

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • When using untreated hard water, scale gradually forms on the walls of the boiler and heaters, reducing the performance of the boiler.

To regulate the temperature, two types of sensors are used: installed on the boiler itself or remotely located in the rooms. The second type of sensors allows you to more accurately set modes and make heating more comfortable.

Induction boilers

In them, the heating of the coolant occurs due to induction currents flowing through it, for which the boiler is equipped with an inductance coil operating on industrial or high-frequency currents. The use of currents with a frequency of several tens of kHz makes it possible to make the boiler silent; older models at a frequency of 50 Hz emit a slight hum when operating.

Advantages of induction boilers:

  • high heating rate of the coolant;
  • boilers are not demanding on the quality of the coolant, you can use water of any hardness - due to constant vibration, scale does not form;
  • there is no heat loss for heating heating elements, heating is cheaper;
  • There are no detachable connections inside the boilers through which leaks are possible;
  • There is no contact between the coolant and the electrical part of the device, which increases its reliability.

Flaws:

  • main drawback induction boilers - their high price;
  • Dimensions are larger than those of heating element boilers.

Electrode boilers

They only work on systems closed type with a specially prepared coolant: water in which salts are dissolved. The principle of operation is based on the splitting of solution molecules into charged ions and their subsequent movement to oppositely charged electrodes. Boilers operate on alternating current, the direction of movement of the ions is constantly changing, which leads to heating of the coolant.

Advantages of boilers:

  • compact dimensions;
  • boilers do not fail if the coolant leaks - the heating process simply stops;
  • The declared efficiency of induction boilers is higher than that of heating elements.

Flaws:

  • the disadvantage of induction electric boilers is high requirements for the quality of the coolant;
  • the price is higher than that of heating elements of similar power.

Where to start when choosing a heating system?

Suppose you are thinking about building a country house or cottage. If you plan to be independent from weather conditions outside the window and living in the house during the cold season, then the first thing you need to think about is heating. It's hard to imagine without him comfortable conditions and comfort. Even Vacation home was qualitatively insulated during construction, given the climate of our country, it is impossible to do without heating.

Advice: so that your family enjoys being in the house at any time of the year - think about how you will heat your house already at the stage of designing your home.

Of course, you can deal with the issue of heating your home yourself, but to avoid unpleasant consequences, this process is best left to professionals. They will help you clearly calculate necessary equipment and you won't waste your time.

Advice: Trust the issue of heating your home only to specialists!

For many people, even the terminology used by heating specialists is unfamiliar, let alone the equipment itself. It's even more difficult to decide on a brand heating equipment and the necessary parameters. On our website you can familiarize yourself with different ways home heating, choose suitable equipment, and also contact our managers for help.

Stages of choosing a home heating system.

Individual (autonomous) heating systems are becoming increasingly popular. This is due to growth suburban construction– due to the deterioration of the environment, many people seek to acquire their own home away from the city.

Selection of boiler equipment. A wide range of boiler equipment is presented by the companies "BUDERUS", "DAKON", "MORA", "VIESSMANN", "WATTS", the highest quality burners are produced by the companies "OILON", "WEISHAUPT", "Giersch", "MORA". To ensure fluid circulation in heating systems, GRUNDFOS and PEDROLLO pumps are installed.

Choice heating devices. It is worth noting that the most popular today are radiators from the companies KERMI, Sira, ARBONIA, DELTA, floor convectors from the Breeze company, heated towel rails from ZEHNDER, warm baseboards from BEST BOARD.

The choice is determined by the type of available fuel (gas, diesel, electricity), budget and architectural plans. Modern house is a high-quality heating system that involves minimum costs during operation and reasonable during its design. The most popular is water heating using manifold wiring with heating devices. This arrangement of the system does not cause trouble to the owners: no additional adjustment or adjustment is required during operation. All labor costs when making repairs in the house or in the heating system are minimized, since each device can be disconnected/connected/dismantled without turning off the heating of the cottage. Of course, the operation of the system itself largely depends on the choice of boiler equipment (boiler).

Advice: The operation of the heating system largely depends on the boiler, so choose it most responsibly.

Selection of boiler equipment

Because the cauldron is the heart heating system– its choice should be approached most carefully. In the relevant sections of the site you can familiarize yourself with the various types of boilers offered by the Kontur-West company.

Heating of SIP houses is carried out using a unique Canadian technology.

Today, houses that have been insulated using this method are considered the warmest, and this figure is six times higher than that inherent in brick buildings.

However, Canadian technology provides a number of features that should be taken into account when choosing heating.

If the choice is not made correctly, it may turn out that living in such a house will not be very economical and comfortable.

Heating of houses from SIP panels

SIP at home can be compared to a thermos. This comparison comes from the fact that such houses do not allow heat to escape from the house. As a consequence of this, accordingly, fresh air also becomes minimal in the SIP panel houses.

In order for the microclimate in the house to be favorable, it is necessary to choose the right heating for SIP houses.

The heating system in houses made of Sip panels must be equipped with ventilation system. With its help, the house will be able to fulfill its energy-saving properties and provide you with warmth and fresh air at the same time.

The most effective is air heating of SIP houses, but you can also use:

  • electric heating;
  • gas;
  • stove

Air heating of SIP houses

This SIP panel also consumes electricity, but it needs to be discussed separately.

It is difficult to install air heating in a SIP house yourself, so you will need to call a specialist.

However, this option saves resources well, and temperature regime It is possible to set it yourself, just as in the case of using an air conditioner.

Air heating of SIP houses and ventilation with an area of more than 250 sq. meters will cost you less than installing water heating.

Advantages air heating in SIP houses:

  • absence of drafts;
  • purifying the air from dust, mold, smoke and unpleasant odors;
  • will provide the necessary air humidity;
  • receive dosed heating flows in SIP scraps;
  • opportunity to build desired temperature air;
  • efficiency.

Electric heating in SIP houses

Heating of houses from SIP panels can be done different ways, but one of the most suitable is the application electrical devices:

  • warm floor;
  • radiators;
  • convectors.

Vulture houses are preserved warm air just as it happens with water poured into a thermos.

So, an excellent solution would be to purchase a “” system, but it needs to be designed at the construction stage. Warm floors are appropriate in homes where heat is retained for a long time and heating occurs quickly.

One of the advantages of underfloor heating is that it radiates heat from below, rather than from the walls. Wall-mounted radiators are not convenient because the heat is directed straight up.

Radiators will be another good option for electric heating of SIP houses.

They are good because you can save on resources without installing a device in each room. If some rooms are not in use, they can be temporarily unheated without affecting the temperature in other rooms.

The radiator is easy to control; you can turn the device on or off at any time when the house has already warmed up. Electric heating lasts a long time, and frequent switching off of the device from the network will not affect wear and tear and will not consume a lot of electricity.

Another suitable option electric heating for vulture houses - purchase of convector equipment.

This type is useful because it can also be hidden under flooring, however, when , you need to take this into account so that the space under the floor matches the size of the equipment.

The convector consists of a grille and the device itself, consisting of a heating element. When the device is working, it is silent, moreover, appearance the heating will not be damaged since it will be located inside the floor.

Gas heating

Speakers, gas boilers and other powerful equipment suitable for brick houses, it is designed for large heat losses.

In addition, gas heating in SIP houses can become burdensome in terms of gasification of the house.

The cost of gas heating is not cheap, especially since gas heating SIP houses require constant heating.

Due to the above characteristics, it is neither practical nor profitable to install this type in SIP panel houses.

Stove heating in houses made of SIP panels

Stove heating cannot be called unprofitable, but it can only be used for beauty, since it will be difficult to heat the entire house with a stove.

Stove or has already become obsolete and is of little use in modern times.

Heating houses made from SIP panels with a stove is very expensive and harmful to health.

So. As promised, I am writing about my experience. permanent residence in a SIP-panel house (1.5 years) and a 2nd floor superstructure. Thank you for your attention to my stories.

Initial data: a one-story house, without a facade (painted sulfur panel), without gypsum board inside and without wallpaper (painted sulfur panel), gypsum board only in the bathroom under the tiles. Heat loss - windows, joints of sip panels (walls, ceiling, floor!).

This is until the summer of 2014:

And this is what we decorated in the summer of 2014 soft tiles and stone-look panels (without insulation):

HEATING

We have wintered in our house twice already. Let me remind you that we were building in 2013 - we built the house in August, and we moved in as soon as our electricity was connected - on October 1st. I talked about how we experimented with different types electric heating. After 1.5 years, we can firmly say that infrared heating is very suitable for a sip house. When the decision was made to build a second floor, we without a doubt chose the same type of heating for the house.

Over 1.5 years we compared:

1) conventional electric convectors Ballu Plaza BEP/E2000 1-2 kW,

2) a regular electric convector with a 0.5-1 kW fan (cheap from Castorama),

3) micathermic infrared heater-fireplace Vitek VT-2145(BK) 0.8 kW,

4) infrared convectors Termic-S 0.5 kW,

5) ultra-thin underfloor heating mats (from Castorama),

6) gas infrared fireplace (also from Castorama, the one that runs from a cylinder).

No. 1 - with ordinary convectors in the cold season it is not very comfortable, the warm air is all from above, the feet are cold, in frosts of -25-35 (and we had those) the house is noticeably cool, we put on socks, slippers, sweaters, and drank hot tea. I don't recommend it.

No. 2 - we accidentally saw a convector with a fan in a castor and decided to take it for the vestibule (hallway) in which I was “crying” Entrance door at outside temperatures of -10 and below. They replaced the regular one with this “turbo”. Got better. After all, it disperses the air and, it turns out, dries it out a little. I recommend it (for drying condensation on the door).

No. 3 - I talked about micathermic in detail in a separate post. The item is not energy efficient, because... it operates in a given mode, regardless of the ambient temperature. Sometimes we deliberately turn it off when the house is warm/hot. I don't recommend it.

No. 4 - I also described infrared convectors in a separate post. This is our main heating - one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom. It is of convective type - from it infrared heat goes "horizontally", and convective - upwards. I recommend.

No. 5 - we bought mats with a thin cable at Castorama (they seem to sell only one brand, I don’t remember what they are called) for bathroom tiles. Comfortable, no additional heating is required in our 6 sq.m bathroom. I recommend.

No. 6 - about gas fireplace I also wrote. Super thing for quickly heating rooms. We used it in bitter frosts, when our convectors No. 1 could not cope with their task. We also used it to warm up the 2nd floor when they glazed it in January-February; in 1.5 days it was 26 degrees (!) on the second floor and stairs. It warms well, BUT! Not intended for residential premises. Because with prolonged use, more than 4 hours, gas combustion products remain in the room (if not ventilated) and breathing is not very comfortable - it is necessary to use it in a ventilated area. There are similar units that have an “exhaust pipe” that needs to be led through the wall to the street - this is my dream for a large house.

No. 7 - I did not indicate in the list - ZEBRA infrared ceiling heaters (Plan type). We hung them under stretch ceiling on the second floor, they have been working for a month now. More comfortable than infrared lamps No. 4, but the main test will be in the next cold season - now it’s already warm outside and the effect will not be felt.

HUMIDITY

In a sip-panel house there are no problems with dry air (with electric heating), as in apartments. Quite the contrary. In the first year, humidity is especially felt. When we first had the feeling of damp clothes, which, for example, were lying on the floor (socks), we rushed to buy a Ballu BDH-25L dehumidifier. And for good reason.

The first winter we turned it on often (once every 2 days + after washing clothes). Guess what it was from high humidity, mass - in September it rained all month, the timber at the joints of the panels got wet - there was no facade, natural humidity from bathing, cooking, watering plants - it has nowhere to go, because the vulture walls “do not breathe”, and there is no way into the hood or window It has time to weather, and the humidity outside is only below 45% in summer (we bought a hygrometer).

Over the past summer, the house has noticeably dried out. This winter, the dehumidifier was turned on only when clothes were washed (by the way, it dries faster than usual), and to dehumidify the air on the second floor while renovations are underway. The thing is very useful! I recommend.

MOLD
Due to the lack of experience in “dealing” with humidity, we became acquainted with mold (during the cold season). It arose in those places where something stood close to the wall (bed, sofa, Kitchen Cabinet), where took place interpanel seam. This is confirmed by freezing between the panels. That is, you can live without a facade and without an interior, but you need to make sure that the joints of the sip panels are well ventilated.
It's behind the bed (

When we discovered mold, we washed everything using a mold remover (it smells like bleach and bleaches) and moved it 10-20 cm away from the walls. We also laid laminate and carpet on the floor without any special insulation, I’m afraid to imagine what’s under them (!). We are planning renovations on the 1st floor this summer, after we move into the second.
For starters: we are equipping the second floor according to a different principle, maximum insulation Izospan and Isoline, not only the walls, but also the floors and ceilings, the facade will be made of 5cm polystyrene foam (by summer), all the walls will have gypsum plasterboard, wallpaper - there is a separate field for research! We got involved in this experiment because the website teploraschet.rf told us that with this “pie” there will be no dew point and no condensation on the walls/ceiling/floor, therefore there will be no freezing or mold, and there will be a super-energy-saving house (floor in particular). We will be checking this over the next year - I think I’ll write about it later.

BACKUP POWER SUPPLY
Gasoline generator is mega useful thing for a private home. Sometimes our electricity was cut off - either because of an accident, or because of repairs, or something else. If it is winter, then the heating issue is very acute. If you provide a gas generator, all adult family members should be able to turn it on - this is very important. For this purpose, we specially redesigned the electrical panel and installed a toggle switch so as not to run around with the carriers. We have 10 kW installed in our house. Gasoline generator - 6 kW.
In fact, in the summer it can also save you from the heat - the house has air conditioning, one, seven, for the entire first floor.

POWER OF HEATING AND COOLING UNITS
The lower the power of the air conditioner or convector/panel, the better and more comfortable. In fact, it is more comfortable when a 0.5 kW convector heats for 30 minutes out of an hour than for 1 kW - 15 minutes. The air conditioner blows too much, cools 40 sq.m., sometimes in the summer I even freeze, I want it to blow 2-3 times less, so, blow it slightly. Aimed at an inverter air conditioner, but it’s a little expensive, let’s face it. Although, with our thermal insulation on the 2nd floor and energy-saving glass in the windows, maybe we won’t need an air conditioner in the summer...(?)

COOKING FOOD
This question is important for future owners of vulture houses. In the absence of “central” gas in the house, we have a mass alternative options: propane gas (cylinders), electric stoves, ceramic or induction. I have an induction cooker.
Yes, I changed all the cooking utensils, because... For induction cooker Not every vessel is suitable.
Yes, it is a little more expensive than usual, but such an “investment” is worth it!
Firstly, the cookware itself is good, secondly, the electricity consumption of induction cookers is more economical than that of other electric ones (due to fast heating/cooking, and in general, according to the energy saving class), thirdly, it does not heat up itself for cooking, it can only heat up from hot pan, what is on it. You can easily find the operating principle of an induction cooker on the Internet.
Once upon a time I became deeply interested in preparing healthy, healthy and dietary dishes, and now I masterfully use all the capabilities of miracle kitchen appliances: electric oven, a multicooker (I have two of them), a bread maker (the smell of fresh hot bread on a weekend morning pleasantly awakens you), a yogurt maker and other devices for preparing and decorating various dishes.
So it’s possible to live in a vulture house without gas. And housewives will be happy owners of new fashionable induction panels, which in turn also look very beautiful and stylish in the kitchen.

DRAIN (pit)
The first time we called the vacuum cleaner was only after a year of living. 5 seconds and done.
In summer, autumn (2-4 times in total) we used special means for pits - some kind of microbes. After using them for about 1-1.5 months, the volume of the pit decreased noticeably. We will use it again.
