Modern Russia is distinguished by the active political position of its citizens. An increasing part of the population is becoming literate in matters of statehood. In addition to liberal figures, the conservative movement is no less developed.

The leader and ideological inspirer is Nikolai Viktorovich Starikov, the organizer of Internet pickets, the author of books about a strong Russia and the chairman of the Great Fatherland Party.

Childhood and youth

The biography of Nikolai Viktorovich Starikov originates in Leningrad on August 23, 1970. The boy was named after his grandfather, who served as a colonel in the NKVD and was a hero of the Great Patriotic War.

The father of little Nikolai told his son about the heroic grandfather and services to the motherland, for the kid the valiant military man became an example of imitation and the ideal of a citizen. Even then, in distant childhood, the public position of the statesman, historian and politician Nikolai Starikov was formed.

Having written dozens of books and posts on his personal blog, Nikolai Viktorovich prefers not to cover his personal life and information about his family and parents.

During his youth in the Soviet Union, Starikov was a member of the Komsomol, and after the collapse of the country and the formation of a new Russia, the graduate entered the St. Petersburg Engineering and Economic Institute named after Palmiro Togliatti. Nikolai Viktorovich left the walls of the alma mater with a diploma of an engineer-economist of the chemical industry.

The received specialty turned out to be unclaimed in Russia, tormented by economic and political crises. For two years, the future publicist, earning a livelihood, went through many activities. Like millions of Russians who found themselves unemployed and forced to learn how to live in a new capitalist state, Starikov sold newspapers on electric trains, unloaded wagons, guarded stalls and shops.

In 1994, Nikolai Viktorovich managed to get a job at the Chance publishing house.

At first, the future master of the word turned out to be far from the writer's everyday life, taking the position of an ordinary advertising manager. The young man coped well with his duties, and soon career growth was not long in coming. Starikov takes the place of the head of the advertising department in the newspaper Reklama-Chance. The future writer worked in this area until 1998.

Career and creativity

Since 1998, Starikov's career has been rapidly on the rise. First, a young advertising worker is invited to the position of deputy commercial director of the St. Petersburg Regional Television channel. In the same year, the man moves to a similar position at the Europa Plus radio station.

And already in 2003, Starikov took the office of the commercial director of the Channel One branch in the northern capital of Russia.

Nikolai Starikov - author of books in the genre of journalism

A year before going to work in the St. Petersburg branch of the main button of the country, Starikov tries his hand at the political arena. Nikolai Viktorovich nominates a candidate for the elections to the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. Unfortunately, he failed to get the required number of votes, and Starikov did not get into the number of deputies.

However, social and political activity did not stop with the bad experience. In 2006, Starikov makes his debut as a writer. Books created in the genre of journalism represent the author's view of historical processes and personalities, an analysis of the current political situation and events taking place in Russia and the world.

The works are saturated with conservative patriotic ideas. In the created personal blog, interviews and in all public work in general, Starikov opposes liberalism. Writer supports . Repeatedly, Nikolai Viktorovich spoke about the positive impact on statehood and the development of the country. On the personality of the leader, he wrote the book “Stalin. Let's remember together."

The author had to defend his own position more than once during debates with opponents, including on the air of the Duel program. He acted as an opponent of the publicist. By the way, according to the results of the program, the vast majority of viewers supported the conservative Starikov.

Duel: Zhirinovsky VS. Starikov

In general, the position of Nikolai Viktorovich, despite the criticism of experts and historians in terms of objectivity, scientific reliability and validity, is supported by thousands of citizens. The public likes the ideas of integration, strengthening the country by suppressing separatist manifestations, preserving historical and family values.

According to Starikov, terrorism is organized and sponsored by the United States in order to divert world attention from the problems of the dollar. In general, the author blames Great Britain and the States, as well as the actions of the special services of these countries, for all the troubles of the world and Russia. Therefore, the publicist believes that the participation of his native country in the WTO, juvenile justice, the right to judge citizens on the territory of other states negatively affect the development of the country.

In addition to books, the author shares his position in blog articles, which, in fact, can be called the official website of the writer. Nikolai Viktorovich is actively working on the Internet. The ideas of the conservative are broadcast from the blog to pages in social networks "In contact with" , "Instagram" , "Twitter" , Facebook and LiveJournal.

The position of the activist was officially expressed in the public movement “Trade Union of Citizens of Russia” created by him in 2011.

Social activists advocate the nationalization of the ruble and natural resources. They talk about the importance of free education. The organization advocates the resumption of the death penalty for especially dangerous criminals. Activists also advocate for a ban on homosexual propaganda and the loan economy.

Starikov and like-minded people held rallies and pickets against, in support of, detained in the United States on charges of arms trafficking and supporting terrorism, demanding that he be returned to Russia.

The main ideas of the movement were reflected in the political program of the Great Fatherland Party, organized in 2013. Critics call the party an attempt to create a semblance of a pro-state "United Russia".

Nikolai Starikov at the head of the "Great Fatherland Party"

Starikov invented the so-called Internet pickets, when the appeals of thousands of citizens are organized in an organized manner and sent to the ruling authorities. This method of public influence is used in the publicist's social network "Internet militia", launched in 2012. The participants demand to deprive the citizenship of the activists of the group.

In 2015, Starikov, together with other public figures, such as the leader of the Night Wolves, Dmitry Sablin, Yulia Berezikova, created the Anti-Maidan movement to prevent the collapse of the state.

It is not surprising that the sharply conservative position of the writer met with criticism and protest from liberal movements and activists. In 2013, the presentation of Starikov's book Fr. Participants of the "Freedom" movement, entering the hall where the event was held, began to chant "Shame!" and declare the need for the author to leave the country, unambiguously proclaiming: “Starikov, go home!”.

However, the writer's work is also criticized by experts and historians. According to the latter, the author manipulates facts, often relies on dubious sources and draws conclusions in books that are not based on scientific works and proven theories.

Personal life

Personal life, in contrast to the social activities of Nikolai Viktorovich, remains hidden both from the eyes of associates and from the attention of ill-wishers.

It is known that the politician and publicist has a wife and two children. No details about family members are released. Close people of Starikov live a quiet life, safely hidden from the press.

Quotes

We live in a world where reality is defined by a newspaper article and a TV picture. There is no picture - and there is no event. They did not write newspapers - it never happened.
A state that goes in the opposite direction from its roots is doomed to perish.

At all times, under all rulers, the mistakes of politicians were corrected by the blood of soldiers and officers.
Geopolitics is a struggle between great powers for control of resources. This is the whole point. This struggle is endless and has no end or beginning. This is a colossal chess in which moves are made by armies, parties and exchange rates. Human life has never been valued in this game.

Biography, life story of Starikov Nikolai Viktorovich

Adherents of liberal values believe that his popularity is based only on conspiracy theories voiced in the media. In fact, it is due to the views of the writer and historian, close to a significant part of the country's citizens, especially those who were born in the USSR and dream of returning to their former greatness. Every year there were more and more such people, which prompted Nikolai Viktorovich Starikov to create a party that unites patriotic-minded forces of various persuasions.

Childhood and youth

The founder and chairman of the Air Defense Party was born in Leningrad on August 23, 1970. He was named after his grandfather, Nikolai Vasilyevich, a lieutenant colonel of the NKVD and a hero of the Great Patriotic War, who was repeatedly awarded military awards, including the Order. For his grandson, he was an example of courage and devotion to his country. His father's stories about his grandfather and the "Book of Future Commanders" given to him instilled in Nikolai not only love for his homeland, but also an interest in history, which later grew from a hobby into a lifelong business.

After graduating from school in 1987, he entered the Leningrad Engineering and Economic Institute. Palmiro Togliatti as an engineer-economist of the chemical industry. In 1992, Nikolai successfully graduated from this educational institution, but failed to get a job in his specialty due to the economic crisis in the country. At that time, this profession was not in demand.

Career

For two years, Nikolai Viktorovich did not have a permanent job, doing literally everything in a row - from selling newspapers in commuter trains to protecting trading establishments. In 1994, he got a job at the Shans publishing house, but not as an engineer-economist of the chemical industry, but as an ordinary advertising manager. In this field, he quickly achieved some success. A few years later, he received the position of head of the advertising department of the Reklama-Chance newspaper. Nikolai Viktorovich worked in this printed publication until 1998, after which he moved to work at the Regional Television television company, becoming deputy commercial director.
