If the walls are made of materials such as foam and aerated concrete, hollow ceramic blocks, then they first need to be reinforced (so that the fastenings do not fall out along with the gate structural elements) - usually a metal frame is used for these purposes.
The height of the ceiling is also very great importance. The lintel is the part of the wall located between top part opening and ceiling. Possible optionsIf the jumper between the ceiling and the upper part of the gate opening is too small, then it can be increased, but only if the height of the opening allows it. The opening is made lower, installing additional beam or metal profile.
If there is no lintel at all, it can be increased using metal corners or profiles, resulting in a false panel of the required height.

The most convenient method for correcting the dimensions of the gate opening in this case is to weld a profiled pipe of the required cross-section around the perimeter.
